My location of pickup was arbitrarily changed. This was not my chosen pickup location. I have not used U haul before. Did not know I had to use Mobile pickup. Location was closed when I arrived for my booked time. I called your customer service and was walked through the process. Very time consuming but agent was great on the phone. Same problem with drop off though. Drop off location was very very busy…a busy dinner hour plaza. Took many minutes to access parking space. Overall pickup and drop off a nightmare. Pickup location was chosen with proximity to the move…New location I was assigned to was many miles away. Bad experience.

Ruel DI got stuck waiting for my documents to get verified on the UHaul website when I picked up my vehicle. Luckily, the staff at the rental location just processed it for me. Later on, when I was about to leave the lot, he flagged me down because I had not completed my emergency contact information. The staff was helpful. The UHaul website experience seems like a good idea for picking up the vehicle so you don't have to interact with any humans, but I think it has a lot of issues. I had submitted all my information twice initially and I still had trouble completing the pickup process online. Also, I remember declining the collision damage insurance but I still got charged.
