Kevin S.The truck had not been washed in months. Had blood on the outside of it. The inside was not much better, could use a good cleaning as the dash had not been cleaned since the truck was new. The power steering leaked, we had to add fluid SEVERAL times. Exhaust leaked as well, sounded like it was about to blow any second but had to deal with it as the pickup location “lost†the keys to our initial reserved truck. I checked in online with contactless pickup, thinking it would be faster however I had to wait while the staff looked for the keys. Then when they could not be found, I had to wait for the reservation to be changed. Almost an hour of waiting and walking a football field to the office from the truck and back. Additionally the driver window rattled the entire journey and the inside of the box was filthy. Would not recommend this location or staff. Also, the truck was returned with the same amount of fuel in it and I was charged an additional amount for lack of. If I could leave negative stars on this review, I truly would as I have rented several times in the past and this one will I'll never forget. Very very disappointed. Btw I have videos and pictures of the vehicle if you would care to see.

BARBARA H.I have rented from Uhaul multiple times. I used the same vehicle, order the same trailer, to pull the same car. This time it shows as not being compatible. On the other hand they wanted to charge me three times as much. I have picked up and dropped at a different location on two prior occasions but this one was triple the price. I was not happy that i had to bring it back to the original location.

Kelly U.Van smelled like the last user had hauled horse manure. The smell was overbearing. When I got home I sprayed Lysol in it and hung an air freshener on mirror. Van appeared clean.Rode nicely. Just that smell…. YUCK!
ANDREA C.My complaint, which still has not been responded to is the u-haul website allows for insurance to be declined when renting a cargo van. However, come to find out contract presented to me at the pick up location contained $30 of insurance I did not request. I e-mailed u-haul on the pick up day complaining but they have not responded. When someone makes a reservation they expect that the terms of the contract will match the reservation. In any event, the renter should be notified before signing the contract. This is a horrible way to do business!!!! WARNING: Read the contract from top to bottom and get explanation for all charges before signing!

TINA F.I rented from all occasions gift and flowers in jesup ga.I will never use uhaul or any service like uhaul because of all the little charges such as .79 per mile charge, insurance coverage and the extra the place of business wants to charge you if its not as clean as it was when u pick it up. Looks like it was detail by professionals and i was told i would have to pay75. 00 to have it cleaned and 35.00 plus 5. 00 per gal if ithe gas wasn't replaced.. i know all this cost but I think it should be all one price so that u pay for it up front even u have to put a deposit a head of time. Also, I was 30 minute late and was charged for a whole day,there was someone waiting to get the truck so that mean it was paid for twice. I should be maybe prorated the time I went over. I didn't have the money to pay for the whole day and I didn't get to use the truck. I am moving and it already cost so much to move.

Anna A.I was quoted 20 bucks a day and .39 a mile. I filled the tank with 24.01. I didn't check the mileage but should have. Just this small trip 70 miles round trip to Greenville Georgia they billed my credit card 97.20 for a 3/4 ton Chevy van. Don't do the bait and switch with them. They lost my business and I live a little over 3 miles from their lot. I will be calling Monday morning. I was to have to had it for 4 hours and was back in 3 and a half. Too many hidden charges....

IVORY L.They gave us oldest truck on lot with bangs and dents everywhere. We asked for one of the newer ones and was told NO. We had over 1,000 miles to drive. It did not drive well. Could not keep up with the minimum speed limit on some roads. It used twice as much gas as prior trip with newer truck. Will never use U-Haul again!!!!!!
KENT H.I made a reservation for a 10 ft truck from a particular location. I received a call a couple of days ahead of time letting me know that a 10 ft truck would not be available, but I was upgraded to at 15 ft truck at no additional cost. Great! But they changed the location for pick up. That really doesn't matter, but the particular place that we had to pick the truck up was RIDICULOUS. I was scheduled to be there at 9:30AM. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I saw that I was not going to be able to be there at 9:30. I attempted to call ahead, but no answer. I guess they don't open until 9:30. When I did get through, the guy acted like it was a problem for him and wanted to know a specific time that I would arrive. The best I could do was tell him "within the hour". We got there at about 10:15 and walked into a JUNKY florist shop (???). There were a few artificial arrangements sitting around, an empty floral cooler, stuff all over the floor and just alot of mess. Had to stand around for 10 minutes before anybody ever appeared. The first thing the guy says is "I had to go to another dealer last night to get your furniture dolly. Seriously? The reservation had been made 2 weeks ahead of time. Not my problem that you weren't organized enough to get the dolly. And you did not do me a favor to have to go get it. I'm paying you for the use of the thing. No face covering on him. Then he announced that the furniture dolly was in the back seat of his car and the regular hand truck was out back and instructed my husband to go out back and get it and put it in the truck!!!!!! Fortunately, a lady (again, no face covering) appeared a few minutes later and he had her get the other thing out of his car. I guess we would have been expected to do that too if she hadn't shown up. Then his computers were down and he had to get on the phone with somebody to try to get all the paperwork taken care of. There was absolutely no sense of urgency in anything that he did. He moved like a snail. He chit chatted and BS'd with the person on the phone and finally got around to getting us out the door. THEN, later in the day when we returned the truck, there was nobody there. A note on the door said that they would be back in a few minutes. Fortunately, the guy had given me his cell number. I called and he said he was out on a floral delivery!!! Seriously? Dropping the keys off in the key drop was no big deal, but I was returning during their posted business hours, not after closing. Was all of this lack of professionalism the end of the world? No. But in the grand scheme of things, we were in from out of town to move my elderly mother from her home and into an assisted living facility and had a million things to do that day and all week. Yes, we were an hour late getting there (beyond our control but definitely on us) but beyond that, the rest of the pick up and drop off experience was lacking in every respect. Fortunately, the truck worked and suited our needs. I would use UHaul again, but would specifically request NOT to have to deal with this location again.
THOMAS W.KALEB AND VALERIE WAS WONDERFUL THEY WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND SO NICE VALERIE EVEN WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND WHEN WE PICKED UP THE TRUCK MY HUSBAND ASKED INSTEAD OF A 15FT COULD WE HAVE A 20FT SHE HAD ONE AND REDONE OUR PAPER WORK WITH A SMILE ON HER FACE SHE SHE WAS AWESOME I WAS GOD BLESS THEM THANKFUL
