Sheran FThe cashier upon pick up advised us to not follow the app instructions and not to upload the appropriate pictures after we reported to her that the license plate didn’t match the one listed on the app. She said to take it regardless and listen to her not the app. She refused to give us the correct key- and the correct plated vehicle was parked outside. The dolly was inside the correct plated vehicle so she told us to take it out of that van
MARVIN STry to improve the online registration process. I had issues and it took 2.5 hours and I had input the day three times.
Olisha EThe truck had trash and was dirty inside when I got it. We cleaned it out. The truck only had an 11/16 tank of gas when we got it and was between 3/4 and 7/8 when we returned it. However, we were still charged for 2 more gallons of gas equalling $9.00. Other than that, everything was good.

TALANNA MThe location was a 24/7 share location. I booked my pick up for 12am. Where I arrived at 12 am the owner told me the store was open 24/7 but U-Haul was open until 11:30pm. So he told me to leave and vibe back at 7am. This was so inconvenient! Then when I arrived at 7am the owner was leaving and sent me to his employee. I had to call customer for help because it took her 35 mins to hand me the keys for my truck. Horrible experience and it put me so far behind in my schedule for the day. By far the worst experience I’ve e with U-Haul. I thought I was guaranteed 24hrs? The people were rude and didn’t understand 24/7 share at all.

Corey BThis was probably the worst experience I've ever had with uhaul. The truck they gave me had 94000 miles on it, and it smelled like it too. Once I had the truck fully loaded and I hit the brakes, it felt like it wasn't going to stop. The A/C didn't work most of the way which made it very uncomfortable.
Mark DMy only problem was they did not have the two dozen furniture pads that I had ordered. They were able to provide 16 and identified other locations that I could get additional pads if needed. As it turned out the amount provided was all I needed. The truck itself with over 120,000 miles made the drive from Atlanta to Savannah with ease.
Tom SI waited almost 30 minutes while the lady talked/text on her phone and helped other incoming customers at this convenience store. I had already rented 2 previous Uhauls this week while moving so I was familiar with the process and asked if I needed to check in on my phone. She said I did not. After waiting another 20 mins, she quoted me a price that was $30 over what I ended up paying. I told her that was incorrect and she then said to check in on my phone. After completing that in 3 mins, I was handed the key. The vehicle was parked around the back of the convenience store, in an unsafe area, very close to other Uhauls, rendering it difficult to drive in and out. I returned the vehicle within 6.5 hours and was told to park in the back. I told a male employee it was dark in the rear, I felt unsafe and there was no lighting. His reply was that there were cameras and he couldn’t go back there with me. I would never rent or recommend a Uhaul from this location again.

Monique BEquipment was not clean inside. There was a water bottle, microfiber towel, and papers in the driver door pocket. There were what appeared to be chunks of chocolate cake or brownie crumbs in the cup holder area. There were signs of a rodent in the cab of the truck, seat foam on the floor at the base of the seat like something was nesting up under the seat. There were food wrappers on the floor, and gray fur in the crevices of the floor. The cargo compartment was not swept out thoroughly. I considered canceling the truck due to safety concerns. A rodent coming out while driving could cause an accident. The equipment ran well, the lady inside the gas station was pleasant at pick up, and the man inside the gas station at drop off was friendly.

Leonard HInformed store personnel that brakes are scrubbing VERY BAD & that there is a problem with the transmission/rear end. When braking, the truck does not want to stop. My opinion? This truck needs to be put out of commission until it is safe to operate. Roadside assistance had to come change the left outside tire because it was flat when I picked it up. Didn't know it until I started loading my belongings in it and saw that it was looking slack. But, Roadside Assistance was there in a VERY short time & had it fixed in within 10 mins. Tne store pickup location was no help at all when picking up & dropping off. And I was told that they have no other equipment but the trucks & trailers. No dollies or furniture dollies, or blankets, & etc. They did not have the truck that was originally reserved for me (even though the system was showing it on hand) so the UHAUL Customer Service had to redo my my entire reservation to show the different equipment & I had to do the self check in because the store personnel did not want to take the time to do it because they would have had to make them other customers wait. It took me over 1&1/2 hours to actually get the rental. DEFINITELY WILL NOT USE THIS LOCATION EVER AGAIN

crystal pIf not for the one uhaul truck that was there, I would not have known it was a uhaul drop off. I would have kept driving around looking for it. Only locals would know this was a uhaul spot. Out of town people would be confused. The lady at the counter was not helpful at all.

Laverne CHave the vehicle ready, at the scheduled time of pick up. Automate the system. I did not like to have my credit card # being verbally relayed over the phone. Have the truck out front of the building instead of un the back. Have the vehicle staged for appropriate move as opposed to being parked between two other trucks. CLEAN up the surrounding area.

Tarrel SThe process to obtain a truck is inadequate…the cashier (Ms. P) must call her boss for him to confirm/approve the rental. She explained to me it’s because this location does not have the Uhaul tablet to view confirmations of rentals. When I arrived there were 2 other customers waiting for the boss to approve their rental. The wait time of this process caused customers to become angry/yelling. The overall experience was unbelievable!

ALPHONSO FWhen I went to the reservation location at a local storage facility as stated in my reservation and pressed the "Ready to pickup" button in the app, the loading icon appeared for a few seconds before the page froze. I restarted the app twice and had the same issue. I then went onto the website and logged in to check on my reservation, but I couldn't find my reservation info anywhere on the page or menu options until I scrolled all the way to the bottom of the page. When I finally found my reservation, i found out that the location was at the local storage facility until I started the pickup process, and then saw that the address changed to a different gas station, so I was already late to pickup my truck, which frustrated me since we had to drive a long distance on a time crunch. When I went to the gas station, the app finally worked, but I didn't know that there was going to be an identification section where you needed 2 alternative contacts or a passport to reach out to if you delay returning your truck. I wish this was disclosed earlier in the process because people normally don't drive around with their passports or can find people to answer their phones last minute. If I had known this earlier, I would have probably chosen to do counter service instead to not deal with this hassle.

BETTY MWatch for ants. They were everywhere crawling in and outside of truck especially on passenger side. I sprayed a lot. And during check in if it's 7:30 just say 8:00 bc I couldn't check in via the app until that time. The workers on hand was ready to go.
Tyler PWhen I went to pick up the uhaul, there was aman sleeping inside of the cab with an open beer, the inside smelled of weed and cigarette smoke, none of the moving blankets I ordered were there either. It took over an hour to get the vehicle which pushed back my whole day of moving.

Destiny GThe truck was very dirty from the windows to the windshield was horrible you could barely see. The inside of the truck was a little dirty. The locations who gets these trucks need to wash window so people can see. Other than that everything was fine.
