I had to purchase a windshield wiper because it was so damaged, there was phlegm spit on the passenger side where someone tried to spit out the window and missed, the steering wheel was greasy. Also, I checked the oil because it's a good habit and the vehicle was low almost one litre. I'm upset, I feel as if uhaul has lost credibility, and the dealer was derelict with maintenance.Ashley H.

The location wasn't the problem. The fact that there were no winter tires was the problem. I'm surprised that you can legally put these vehicles on the road in BC without winter tires on. I'm just glad it was less than 20 km that we needed it for. Ended up spinning out a couple of times just trying to get in driveways. The fellows at hands on car wash were great, though.Ivan V.
The windshield washer blades were worn out and the passenger side window fluid sprayer was not working. The truck was a little dirty, we definitely left it cleaner than what we got. It wasn't terrible and I am satisfied with the rental but it wasn't flawless.Daniel L.

You should service your vehicles before giving to a customer. The alignment was off by a long shot when taking. Super stressful to drive over 500 km with a steering wheel to the side. The location picking up the 20 foot truck was terrible. You must lend your franchise to people who do not care for human interaction and treats clients like a piece of shit. The location I rented my trailer from was much more helpful and even lent a hand to load the trailer to my personal truck. When I tried to drop your truck and trailer off at closest location, I was turned away twice to drive to a location deep in to kelowna which was quite an inconvenience. Good day this is Darren previously rented a trailer from you guys, I am at Canadian veteran and also retired diesel mechanic when I picked up the trailer I noticed tires gouged on outer side Wall and other one pretty much wore out but the service team promptly was able to get someone to come change those tires which I really appreciate but I spent two hours fixing the wiring lights did not work gentleman at the location said that he would give me some money off but didn't it wasn't so much the money by not doing what he said it was more or lessA slap in the face thank you Darren 1-778-675-3501 if you have any further questionsDarren A.

give the customer a heads up when you wont have the item they wanted. Less then 24 hrs to tell me the 6x12 is reserved wasnt at location so i had to get a 5x8. It was a big hurdle in my move, was less then impressed.Cody D.

the location was not inviting due to its cleanliness and clutter. staff did not go over the vehicle with me. i had to reset the mirrors. the tires were lacking tread and the wiper blades were not winter blades so they clogged up with snow. all season radials are inappropriate for safe winter passage in central and northern british columbia as well as travel through the rocky mountains. several times i found the truck slipping due to the condition and type of tire that was on it. i have been informed that truck should have been equipped with proper winter tires not all seasons. i was not informed that i should have gone through the hiway scales but found out via another source.Mark R.

Reservations were changed and lots of miscommunication. The app in particular was just not working either. Spent an hour on the phone with uhaul and trying to get the key out of the box to grab truck. Charged for uhaul dollies (which we requested) but weren't in the truck. No furniture padding in the bag on the wall. The truck also had two hotels in the roof, so when we were loading up and it started to pour, it went all over the furniture. We used a towel to keep damage away from dresser tops. Took video and reported damage right away. Customer service there was good and uhaul was accommodating with letting us have it for another 24 hours as our storage unit facility got evacuated and we weren't able to get into it.Kevin G.

No mats were provided by the location. I contacted UHaul via app upon discovery. This location still charged me for the furniture pads. The company has still not responded to my concerns. Otherwise the truck was good.Benjamin W.

The owner/manager is severely lacking in customer service skills. He was incredibly rude and unfriendly. In fact while I was out getting another driver to be added to the contract which he said he would wait for...he called uhaul and cancelled my reservation then denied it. I had to deal with this rude and condescending man for over an hour trying to get my truck. He also told me that there was nothing he could do as the truck I had rented was gone...however when I called the head office they told him to give me the truck. Miraculously there was a truck to give me. Further.....I had rented a 20 foot truck and he would only give me a 15 (after his head office made him give it to me) I will never return to this uhaul location, I will ensure that I tell all of my friends and family to not go here either. This was a disgusting display of disrespect and I'm not sure why. Was it because I am a woman? Sure felt like it. Also ina side note, the office and the counter are filthy, cluttered and most likely a safety concern. Uhaul would get more customers if they got rid of this asshole. I had been warned by friends about his treatment of people and had even reviewed posts on Facebook stating that he had been racist as well but as it was close I chose to use the location anyway. Do yourself a favour and get rid of that miserable old jerk, he's not good for businessKerry L.

Need to work on customer service. Was delayed by and hr and a half after the agent had argued about my payment method, which I used before with uhaul, and in the end was told he could do what i was asking but he was not properly equipped to accommodate my needs so just used cash. Would have saved a lot of time and issues if he did that in the first place.Sheldon N.
This truck should not of been rented to us it is in need of serious mechanical repair. When we dropped it off in Edson Alberta we advised them of the poor road worthy condition of this truck. The Edson U-Haul location said they have now marked it for repair so it will not be rented to anyone else until serviced.Jeffrey P.

I reserved a smaller moving vehicle for at a different location. I went to go pick up said vehicle and waited for 30 minutes just to be told I didn't have a reservation at that location. I had to call in to be told that they switched locations on me apparently called and txt me which I did not receive either and I know for si fact that my phone has received numerous texts from uhaul especially for this booking and that I did not get any regarding this. Upon driving back all the way to the opposite end of town to pick up the vehicle from the other location it was a 20' which turned out I could manage just fine but that's a big difference in sizing. Once getting back to our house to finally start the moving process we realized that the appliance dolly I also rented was not in the vehicle. Overall a very poor experience.Kendra E.

The cab was absolutely disgusting. Console cup holders were full of spilt sticky gooey substance, chip crumbs all over passenger seat, egg shells on floor under seat, Timmies garbage behind seat, animal hair all inside of each door in cubbies. Summer tires were very dangerous given icy road conditions. Truck was in poor repair and dirty. It only had 1/4 tank of gas. Engine was rough running and gear shift was sloppy.Kent F.

The place was hellhole because it was dusty and untidy. The attendant was reticent: He did not inform that the insurance I paid for included roadside assistance. I ended up with $250 out of pocket for assistance received from being stuck in the snow, after my private AMA rejected my request.Ufuoma O.
