The address provided by the representative and the website were incorrect. I would believe the representative did it on purpose she was so mean while she told me how uhaul doesn't care how inconvenient a 5 hour drive was going to be.NEOMI R.
The address for Handyman Salvage was completely wrong on my contract. I rode around in a circle trying to find it. Tried calling but it was after hours. Tried calling uhaul, but was a long wait time. Finally found someone that could tell me where it was and found it. Then charged extra money for additional miles. Bottom line: Make sure the drop off address is correct! The business had moved but the address had not been updated.WILLIAM K.

We had an emergency situation and had to rent a car hauler. The Cabins to Castles in Trenton, GA were amazing and made our situation A LOT LESS STRESSFUL!!. PLUS Cabins to Castles, Trenton GA also have a lot of SOLID Wood cabinets & furniture. I will be going back!! Great place and absolutely great helpful people.CHARLESERWIN B.

Our pick-up location was suppose to be Trading Post in Rising Farm. Upon arriving and going through the process on my phone, and then having to call and wait for 30 minutes, I was told the truck was broken and I would have to go to Trenton. This seems like something you should have known at booking. This whole process added many hours to moving and lots of stress. I would not recommend anyone using the virtual pick-up or U-Haul in general.Ted B.

The turn in was after hours and Handyman was closed. The on-line turn-in process went very well. However, It took me about 30 minutes to complete the process and Handyman is in a rural, isolated area subject to weather conditions and critters who come out at night.BRADFORD P.

I will never use uhaul again. I tried reserving on the website and it kept changing my location pickup. I finally had to call and reserve over the phone and then couldn't get the size truck I wanted. They said they would give me the next size up for the same price but I got charged for the full price of the larger truck.FREDDY P.

I was very disappointed with the change of location, the 1/2 fuel tank, the drop off location which is several miles away farther from my home when there were several other UHaul places around my home. The muddy conditions on the driver side. I wound up having to clean the driver's. Please see attached photo. We paid $35.00 dollars additional because the drop off in Spartanburg was to dangerous.Kim Axel K.

they were rude, the lady was having full on conversations with 3 people while i was waiting on her to "check" if another truck was available.they also closed 15 mins early when online and a uhaul rep that called said they would be open till 6 pm. i got there at 5:40pm and they were closed. the serial number for the appliance dolly didnt even match up with paperwork and they said that its fine and to let the drop off location know. they also open at 10am which on moving day isnt early enoughNa K.

The staff greeted all of the customers other than me, including customers behind me in line. They never gave me paperwork in person, and just told me they'd send me a receipt later. The receipt was inaccurate and overcharged and they never responded to my inquiry regarding the error.Connie M.

I chose truck share to pick my truck up online . It didnt work for me. I got to the store, had to wait until they opened and helped another customer rent their uhaul before I was even told the store wasnt set up for online truck share. Lucky the movers I had coming to help were later than when I finally got back with the truck.Heather E.

I rented the truck online. First I was to pick it up two hours away. Then I was to pick it up in Chattanooga. Then it was finally assigned to Trenton where I had requested in the beginning. After I got the truck I hooked up my trailer lights and the blinkers wouldn't work. Called for roadside assistance. Was told it an extended time. I finally found a blown fuse for the pigtail and fixed it myself. Called to cancel roadside. Then when I returned the truck I found out that my reservation was cancelled instead of roadside. So then it took approximately an hour to get that straight and return the truck. I then checked my bank account and I had been charged twice. I then called and spoke with a representative and he stated I would be credited back 431.42. I was not I was credited back 424.79. This was the worst uhaul rental experience ever!!!!Eric R.

I am 66 years old I rented a 6x12 enclosed from Trenton Ga from a stir it was Something and Salvage, but after I paid for they said it's out back, so I drove and found it, the young was in the dirt and I could not lift it up I when back in the store and the told me it was Uhaul policy not to assist in hook up due to liability, eventually they got a forklift to assist getting it out of the dirt and told me not to tell ANYONE that they assist me or they would loose their license. When I got to drop off, because of the hookup issue I parked, unhooked, and went in to check out and the lady said were your trailer I said I parked it and unhooked it, she said we are the ones that do that then I told her about the hookup she said to make sure Uhaul knows about this. The gentleman that assisted us was upbeat and very helpful. It was the same gentleman that we returned the previous truck to and he was still apologizing about the first truck. This entire experience with both trucks has been highly disappointing on both the mechanical and customer service of Uhaul. If there has been a change in management, standards, or business practices within the Uhaul corporation I would strongly advise that you return to the roots of a corporation that allowed you to build a strong customer base.Simeon D.
The gentleman that assisted us was very helpful and knowledgeable. However to no fault of the drop off location we had nothing but issues. Due to all of the mechanical difficulties we had to limp into the drop off location making it late to the drop off time frame. Which caused Uhaul to attempt to charge us for another full day. We have moved numerous times and are normally very accurate with mileage and gas. At the beginning of this trip we calculated the mileage divided by mpg and added one gallon to be sure that we returned the truck at the proper gas level. Needless to say having to drive the truck in second gear we still missed the gas mark. The gentleman that assisted us at the drop off location stated if we were this dissatisfied with the truck that we should call Uhaul and tell them of our issues. After a 45 minute wait on the telephone we finally were able to reach a Uhaul representative. Making me feel like I was not worth anyone's time. The lady that assisted me informed me that Uhaul would not charge us for the extra day. We were very disappointed in not only the truck that we rented but also with the Uhaul service on the telephone. We may not have had to pay for the extra day but we did have to pay for the extra gas and mileage due to the faults of the truck. Not to mention the time and energy wasted to get to our destination and drop off location and time spent on the telephone waiting for assistance. We are virtually nomadic and have moved numerous times over the last 14 years. We have repeatedly returned to Uhaul for their impeccable customer service and normally their high standards on their equipment. I never would have expected this level of service nor this level of equipment maintenance from Uhaul.Alisha D.

. My problem was with uhaul itself. I made a reservation online my pick up location was moved I was never notified. I was told that I had been text and emailedof this change. But I never received either. I didn't receive emails and text of other information before and after. This cost me several hours of move time and help. Not to mention the anger and frustration of the whole experience. Moving is hard enough without my moving van company making it exceedingly more difficult. I had a great experience at this location. U Haul should not allow this location to operate. Took over an hour to get the truck, then they put a trailer hitch on the back (which i did not order) and charged me for it, which i just cleared up on the phone with 1 800 go uhaul. I made a reservation to be ready for pick-up at 10:00 a.m. at the assigned location. To my dismay the equipment was not there nor was there someone to assist with organizing the appropriate rental truck. We spent one hour of our time communicating off and on with the Uhaul representative who was in charge of my rental via phone. Not only was this representative unable to assist with my appropriate rental, there was not anyone there whom seemed to have experience as to what and how to rent out the truck. My boyfriend and I had to spend time going from truck to truck to find the reserved extras (i.e. furniture pads and a dolly). We finally wound up unhitching a trailer from the only 10' Uhaul available, ourselves. When we returned our truck to the designated location the sales rep who assisted us then informed us that we had an in-town reservation rental not a one way, in which we booked on line. We then had to spend 30 more minutes dealing with changing the rental status so we could return our vehicle. The sales rep at the Deerfield Beach location was very professional, unlike my experience at the West Palm Cheveron location. I would absolutely not recommend my friends/family to utilize the Uhaul location in West Palm Beach, do to there lack of professionalism, time management and inorganization.DANA A.
