Incredibly rude customer service! I will never rent from here again. Absolutely ridiculous how they treat paying customers. The owner/operator also tried to scam more gas out of me, luckily I had photo evidence of the tank as it was when I picked it up, at that point he refused to take the truck back and said I would have to pay for another day. I completed the check out via the app regardless, but a horrible experience and this operator will have a negative impact on uHaul as I may not ever return back as a uHaul customer after this.

Did not know how to help me when there was an error with my app booking, which was changed to the wrong dates when I called earlier to change the pickup time. Was incredibly rude and dismissive. And put the 45$ safety fee on there without asking. I consider this fraud and I am very, very disappointed with this company.
MATTHEW FI am a long time repeat customer and have never been treated so poorly. I typically can rent through the app and grab the keys when I arrive. This time it took over 30 minutes because they needed me to add and check my references. Humiliating to try to find a friend who answers the phone for a strange caller. My history and reputation with the company should speak for itself.
MARYELIZABETH BEverything was great.The attendant was nice, very helpful and double checked with me about the supplies I might need. The location is easy to find and the truck was ready all I had to do was scan my drivers license and I was good to go.
ELIZABETH QReturned uhaul early today.There was something wrong with the truck.To go 975 miles cost me 600 dollars mcloughlin said something was wrong with the truck.That was it they were useless.I’ll stick with a different company that checks there trucks you rent a truck you expect a good running one for the unbelievable price of 1800 plus gas for 3 days
ANGELA MIt took a while for the represenative to upload my Drivers license. I also got accused of not returning the Dolly when there was never one in the truck to begin with. The Rep had an attitude. I will never be back there to rent an Uhaul.
ROCHELLE GCustomer service is lacking. Tried to go in and get keys. Front desk guy had to call manager on phone. Spent 20 minutes on the phone trying to put my credit card information on file manually. Kept saying I felt very uncomfortable doing so and I already had everything set up to just get my keys. Very annoying experience picking up the vehicle. Then when I came to drop the vehicle off I went inside to give cash to front dest person to put gas in the truck. Went and put gas. Then went to return the keys after doing drop off procedures only for the guy to rudely question if I put gas in the car? As if I wasn’t just in there telling him to put 15 on a pump number. Will not be coming back

I appreciate him for being open early on a Sunday morning which helped me to make my pickup appointment on time for the item was moving. I will definitely rent from him again if I'm in the area. I even had him laugh and he thanked me. Great job!!!

rosa gThe location was not the deal breaker so much as your website not working properly. Had a hard time navigating it even with full cell service. After 8-10 mins of failed attempts to get to the last steps I finally called in. The rep was very helpful and apologized for the kinks on the website. She was able to gets us through to the last steps and we were able to use the rental. The only things I’ll say about this location is that, it’s a VERY busy corner. Cars coming in and out of ever location, we did have to wait in line another 10 mins because the attendant was assisting another U-Haul renter and they also had issues. Plus the wait of letting people who were just there for gas or snacks go before us cause we knew we might be a while. I’ve used another location rental and will probably use that one instead of this recent one again.

Sean PI had a very frustrating experience with the check out process at this location. They could not process two separate credit cards because their system would freeze. The fact that it was not an actual u-haul location and with little support from u-haul themselves made it all the more disappointing.

DESIREE CIt is very sad to see how customer service is non-existent anymore, and also it is very concerning those large companies like Uhaul do not care about their customers. I hope that someone really cares about the image and services that Uhaul promotes via partners and independent locations. I had the most unpleasant experience on this last rental. I will never go back to rent at this location (Hannas Mobil 14206 Mulberry Dr, Whittier, CA 90604), and will never recommend this location to any of my networks. JERSON SI did not have the drop off location information with me when I picked up the truck. I told him I have poor internet service on my phone. He said if I don’t have the drop off address he can not help me until he has that info. While telling me this he was on the internet watching YouTube videos. He could’ve helped me find that information if he logged on his computer, but instead he wasted my time and I tried to call UHAUL ANd wasted 30 mins of my time. Truck was messy and had coffee stains in the inside. I wouldn’t recommend doing business w/ this location in WHITTIER EVER!
REGINALD SI was trying to use your website to make my reservation and it was a disaster. It kept making me input the information over and over. I was trying for 40 minutes and still nothing. I gave up and went to the location. Luckily the gentleman at the location was able to help me. He made everything stress free. So Thankful For him.

Columbus TVery rude and even if i was a customer he told me to hold on so he can get his other customers and he didnt want to re due my contract for next day because i maid a mistake and wanted it for next day and told me no and charged me double when he said he wasnt gonna charge me double just the 19.99 plus 10 insurance and he is rude and didnt even check the van before cause when i got it was dirty .. Very rude and does not help u when ur a customer as well in his store ...

The balance of this review Is in regards to the specific location but to our uhaul experience overall/website. Website is not in real time. We needed a 20ft truck and had selected a location the “had” it. We were then informed the day before our move we would have to drive 45 mins to a different location because they had what we wanted. We ended up having to opt for a smaller truck at a closer location. We also had scheduled movers for 8 am and planned to pick up the truck at 7 am (as this was an option on the website). We were then told we couldn’t pick up till 10 am regardless of what we had put on the website.

He did not make any effort to help to see what had happened with my payment, he just wanted to charge me again. He was very dismissive and not helpful at all. I called the Uhaul customer service number myself and resolved it. Finally, he completed the transaction and just Gave me the keys. No walkthrough with the truck, no info. He also did not give me my blankets that I had paid for. Dismisive

Jerson SHorrible experience, I will never use UHaul again or recommend you! I was notified at 605pm the night before my reservation that I had to pick up my UHaul 88 miles from the location I chose. It was a 3 hour round trip just to get the UHaul. I had to find new help to load and get a ride to UHaul being that my car was already in Southern CA. All that was compensated was the miles, ridiculous! You’ll made a already stressful situation of moving that much more stressful. I asked to be compensated more and that was it! That is the worst customer satisfaction experience coming from someone that’s been in customer service for 26 years.
