I had a very frustrating experience with the check out process at this location. They could not process two separate credit cards because their system would freeze. It is very sad to see how customer service is non-existent anymore, and also it is very concerning those large companies like Uhaul do not care about their customers. I hope that someone really cares about the image and services that Uhaul promotes via partners and independent locations. I had the most unpleasant experience on this last rental. I will never go back to rent at this location (Hannas Mobil 14206 Mulberry Dr, Whittier, CA 90604), and will never recommend this location to any of my networks. I did not have the drop off location information with me when I picked up the truck. I told him I have poor internet service on my phone. He said if I don't have the drop off address he can not help me until he has that info. While telling me this he was on the internet watching YouTube videos. He could've helped me find that information if he logged on his computer, but instead he wasted my time and I tried to call UHAUL ANd wasted 30 mins of my time. Truck was messy and had coffee stains in the inside. I wouldn't recommend doing business w/ this location in WHITTIER EVER!REGINALD S.
I was trying to use your website to make my reservation and it was a disaster. It kept making me input the information over and over. I was trying for 40 minutes and still nothing. Very rude and even if i was a customer he told me to hold on so he can get his other customers and he didnt want to re due my contract for next day because i maid a mistake and wanted it for next day and told me no and charged me double when he said he wasnt gonna charge me double just the 19.99 plus 10 insurance and he is rude and didnt even check the van before cause when i got it was dirty .. Very rude and does not help u when ur a customer as well in his store ...YVONNE G.
The gentleman that assisted us was super nice and friendly. He had to run the gas station and the checking out process at the same time but it wasn't too big of a deal. The balance of this review Is in regards to the specific location but to our uhaul experience overall/website. Website is not in real time. We needed a 20ft truck and had selected a location the â€œhadâ€ it. We were then informed the day before our move we would have to drive 45 mins to a different location because they had what we wanted. We ended up having to opt for a smaller truck at a closer location. We also had scheduled movers for 8 am and planned to pick up the truck at 7 am (as this was an option on the website). We were then told we couldn't pick up till 10 am regardless of what we had put on the website.Teresa D.

The worker at this Location Could not find my payment I had already completed over the phone. He did not make any effort to help to see what had happened with my payment, he just wanted to charge me again. He was very dismissive and not helpful at all. I called the Uhaul customer service number myself and resolved it. Finally, he completed the transaction and just Gave me the keys. No walkthrough with the truck, no info. Horrible experience, I will never use UHaul again or recommend you! I was notified at 605pm the night before my reservation that I had to pick up my UHaul 88 miles from the location I chose. It was a 3 hour round trip just to get the UHaul. I had to find new help to load and get a ride to UHaul being that my car was already in Southern CA. All that was compensated was the miles, ridiculous! You'll made a already stressful situation of moving that much more stressful. I asked to be compensated more and that was it! That is the worst customer satisfaction experience coming from someone that's been in customer service for 26 years.Rhiannon T.

I registered online. I checked in online. And they had no record of it. And to top it off, during this pandemic when we're all supposed to be social distancing, he handed me his phone and I had to talk to a UHaul representative. So I had to use a phone touched by and breathed upon by someone else and put it close to my face. I will now have to closely monitor myself for the next 14 days just because of this!!!!! I was outraged. And when I handed him his phone back and said I needed hand sanitizer me told me to wait so he could finish his call with the UHaul representative. I will never go back there and I will never recommend it.Nancy G.

Improve contact free handoff. Despite online checkin we had to get keys in station. Attendant did not understand our concerns due to language barrier, touched our cards with bare hands and no sanitation available. The location I received service at was extremely unorganized. My reservation was set for pickup at 10am. The associate helping me took 40 minutes to process the reservation, and he also insisted my credit card was â€œno goodâ€ when it was clear to be an issue with the card reader keypad. He charged me for 2 days of rental when I only reserved one day. He also repeatedly stopped to help other people before completing my rental. I would not recommend this location to anyone.Clarisa S.

They did not walk me out to the truck to make sure mileage and gas were consistent on the paperwork. Nor did they explain anything to me (ie.,how to operate the vehicle, how to adjust the mirrors, what dashboard features there were and how to operate them, etc.). Not until I picked up my tow dolly at another location did we notice that they rented me a truck with no license plate. Very unprofessional. Not helpful. Will NEVER deal with them again!Carol S.
