We were charged an extra day. When we asked for June 30 -July 2 they booked us to July 3. Then the app wouldn’t work properly when we were trying to drop off the truck it wouldn’t accept the photos. I tried 4 times then gave up and took pictures without the app to show.. The Truck was very clean and ran great

the service was mediocre, not very friendly - truck was maintained but he just handed me the key and sent me to figure out which truck was mine - I had rented a 10' but they gave me a 15' and didn't tell me, so I was wandering around trying the key in the 10' trucks. Tank was 1/2 full, which I get happens, but they run a gas station, they couldn't have topped it up so I'm not fiddling trying to get it to 1/2 full when refueling. I had to go digging around behind a sea can or something to find the dolly I had booked. Clearly they had better things to do that serve Uhaul customers. But the truck was functional and did what it needed to do.

Absolute trash customer service and everything else about this experience. Had 3 weeks to notify me that the truck was not available at my location but you let me know last minute and I had to scramble to make arrangements for someone else to go and pick up the uhaul since it was 30 minute drive from previous location. Apparently the place I originally rented it from burned down a month ago but you still have it on your website as a pick up location. Are you guys serious??? When I spoke to the booking agent she said she would apply a $20 gas voucher to the invoice which I don't see. Afterwards when I tried to log on to my account on your website to double check my booking and confirm my new pick up location - your website was down for almost a full 24 hours. Once again well done. Then someone by the name of Ricky contacted me and asked about a free trailer or compensation which I replied yes to multiple times. An auto message was sent back saying I would get a call. Never received a call.. The most unprofessional and embarrassing service I have ever received. Never again will I be using uhaul or any of your products. I doubt anyone will contact me about this crap that your multi billion dollar company put me through.

1st, The guy who runs the place has zero customer service skills. 2nd , you guys changed my pickup location from right behind my house to a few km away. When I asked why, they said they don't transfer vehicles between locations. You guys specialize 1 way rentals.....this was done to gouge a few extra bucks from me and no doubt it's a common practice. Not that you'll care of do anything about it.

This U-Haul Welland site on Niagara St. is centrally located. The operators are extremely efficient in running the business. I truly recommend this specific site due the the best U-Haul experience. I will also be doing a Google review.

The cabin smelled sour. The breaks didn’t work well. The service attendent prioritized customers walking in for convenience store related purchases, making us wait longer to check in when we were there first.

The Store owner wanted me to move the truck into a very tight space after I already parked it perfectly fine beside the other trucks it was a very big truck and I didn’t think it was my responsibility to move the vehicle

When you arrive, trucks should be ready to drive off. Instead, I had to move another truck out of the way to be able to access the truck I rented. I don’t work for U-Haul, customers don’t have to do that. Furthermore, the truck was filthy with garbage left inside. Finally, the driver door was barely closing prompting a light on the dashboard to appear, as well as other maintenance orange light .

Don’t go here u hauls a cash grab offering for 19.95 then they don’t give you paper work or max kms till your charged $1/km I won’t use these service again and I won’t be recommending this place to anyone. Change the prices stop being sketchy and not providing proper paper work and fees up front with no hidden charges.

They were suppose to reduce my charge because they charged me beforehand for the estimate price, but ended up saying afterwards they would reduce my charge because I didn’t go the distance that I originally estimated, but they ended up not reducing the price afterwards

The inside was dirty with garbage inside the truck. and ice build up on the back on the stepping area to get in the back. Inside the truck was wet! customer service sucked!!! No one explained anything they were too worried about talking on their earpieces.

there was a solid light indicating that tires were significantly under inflated. we requested another truck but Uhaul representative refused to provide another truck despite having 2 more trucks available in the parking lot. Due to this issue, the moving ride was very slow and unsafe. causing double gas consumption. Also, that alert prevented us from record the miles. I suspect he charged us more as this was a short trip. I don't recommend this location

I had a very negative experience with U-Haul Welland (Niagara street). The service was unacceptable: the employee was rude, unprofessional, and not helpful. To make matters worse, the vehicle had a serious braking issue—the brakes felt weak and did not respond properly, which posed a safety risk while driving. I would not recommend this service en this location.

The gentleman at the counter didn’t indicate what truck I could take, just handed me the keys. Snowy day and I had to try the key on several trucks until I found mine. On my way back, although I parked the truck in front of a U-Haul designated location, he was adamant that I had to park the truck where I took it from. I don’t work for U-Haul. If he needs help, he should hire someone.

The price per kilometer ($1.09) makes it feel like a rip off. I drove from one town to the next and back, and it more than tripled the price. I will definitely consider other options next time I need to move a large item.
