called in after booking to make a change, phone was put down and I could here the salesperson talking for 5 minutes to someone else. When we picked it up the same person made us wait while he helped another staff give someone money back. We were paying customers. Truck had faulty transmission and gas engine sounded like a diesel. Poor maintenance. Will never use nor recommend this location again. Customer service was absolutely terrible.

I was charged for items I never received, and did not use. The trucks check engine light was on the entire time I drove it. In the checkout link texted to me, the pictures for current condition could not be viewed. Due to bad experiences in the past, I tried to avoid renting from this location but was redirected there after booking at another location.

There wasn't snow tires on the vehicle and there wasn't an ice scraper. I had to pull over for the night because the highway was closed due to weather and this vehicle made it worse. I would like some of my money back for the poorly prepared vehicle.

Service hopeless and very rude. When I was returning car, I was forced to refuel despite the fact that I had already refueled at another station. I only drove 28 km so I didn't use a lot of gas and I filled up with 15 liters but was told I had to refuel at their gas station. I will never use their services again and I do not recommend this place.

The website was very difficult to reserve a trailer. The site froze at the additional insurance page. I had to drop in to the dealership to complete my reservation. The people at the dealership were very helpful with both the reservation and the rental

Very rude. I drove 26 miles and put in enough gas before returning the truck. The person at the store insisted that I should put in 1 liter for a 1 mile drive, so in my case, put in 26 liters for 26 miles. It is an outrageous rate. It is not the rate set by U-haul company. So, I refused to pay for it. Later, I found that he charged $41.18 CAD for fuel. I believe the U-Haul company should cancel the contract with this location. Never use this service at this location.

Booked my reservation for 06:30 in the morning and registered for mobile pickup. The owner failed to leave the key in the unit, so I had to wait outside the business until 08:00 when it opened, and didn't get my unit on the road until closer to 08:30. This completely through off my plans for the day. The owner didn't seem bothered by this inconvenience.

The outlet was well run, efficient and friendly. Regarding the data theft incident, apparently I had some personal data stolen. My response to that is you don't need drivers license data in your system after the rental item is returned and paid for. Change your system to discard that kind of information to protect your customers since you IT people are unable to do that.

I originally rented the van for 2 days with extra kilometres and when I looked at my contract I could have taken it for a full week and with the kilometres I needed it would have been little more cost. The dealer could not accommodate the change as I had already left the business with the vehicle. It would have been great customer service if I would have been informed about the option at time of pick up

The individual helping me was nice enough but there's wasn't a walk through of van of any kind. The location was very dirty and the van I rented had a strong unpleasant smell. It smelt like old food. It was so strong that each time we entered the van, we had to have the windows rolled down.

The staff was very rude and abusive. One of their staff was parking another UHaul truck and almost crashed on my vehicle. Not only that, he came out of uhaul truck and used abusive language. Very unprofessional. For evidence please feel free to see pump videos. The staff has some eyes problem so easy to identify who it was.

Check everything before handing over. Truck was clean the only issue was that I topped up washer fluid but spray nozzles seems to be plugged so windshield could not be cleaned. It may become safety issue in certain situations

Firstly - this was nowhere near the location I reserved at so I ended up needing to drive to the opposite corner of the city to pick the trailer up. Secondly - this is a gas station staffed by one person so they expect you to wait, hook trailers up yourself, and hurry out on your way. Thirdly - the safety chains were missing from the trailer so that was a further deiay. It should not have taken me an hour at the location to get a trailer. This is not the first time U-Haul has redirected me across the city or even outside of the city for a pickup or dropoff. Unacceptable.

The owner of the neighbourhood Uhaul dealer asked myself to install the storage trailer without any instructions, he quickly looked at the installed trailer and then took a picture and let me go. When I was returning the trailer, the staff at UHaul said the the chains were not perfectly installed

check engine light was on, but no issues. Returning the vehicle after hours was a slight issue as there was no available parking spot as a certain return had prob little more then half a vehicle space on either side of it, but unable to park beside it due to the other vehicles parked. so i had to get out and manually move a couple of the hitch trailers to make room to park my return. should have a designated spot/space for each rental.

Spent over 40 mins waiting to pick up the uhaul, was serving other customers instead of me. At drop off, they started arguing about the gas level, I uploaded pictures of the gas level when I picked it up. He refused to look at the pictures I uploaded and kept saying “he remembered” the gas level because he filled it up. I again told him to look at the pictures on the app and he refused. He then proceeded to threaten me with late fees because I was “not co-operating”. Horrendous experience.

Just bad customer service. On the phone while serving customers. Not the cleanest truck and location. Convenient place to buy a bong, illegal flavoured chewing tobacco and rent u-haul truck??? Will try another next time.

The owner at this location was insisting we fill the gas tank (which we had just filled up) at his gas station in order for him to make a profit. I then had to drive somewhere else in order to drop the truck off (which I was told could go there) and had to fill the gas tank I had already filled up before getting there. We THEN had to drive all the way back to this location in order to get our deposit back from this man. I had to show him a receipt for a whole 5 L of gas that I had to stop and fill on the way in order to get my deposit back. This man should not be in business with UHaul and you will be losing a lot of service because of him. The UHaul truck I was given as a rental also did not have working air conditioning and I had to drive 6.5 hours in 28 weather with two young children who were dripping in sweat!

The guy was great. But he couldn't find the drop off info right away, apparently the system wasn't sync'd up correctly. When he couldn't find it he was asking me to personally call head office and was going to send me somewhere else after I drove 45 mins to his location.

The trailer was loaded for about 200 km, and then the back left wheel on trailer flew off. My 7 year old son & I were stranded at a rest stop 1 hour east of Calgary for seven hours waiting for a replacement trailer. We were both very hungry and thirsty when they finally showed up at quarter after nine. I am extremely grateful that the wheel that came off the U-Haul trailer went in a field and not through someone's windshield. Excell towing seemed to pit this as a low priority as it took them 5 hours to get to us, and stopped answering their phone. This is completely unacceptable service for an “Accident “ especially when a 7 year old child is stranded. And for a wheel off situation, it would question the UHaul maintenance practices, which the DOT would be interested in investigating. This delay cost us an extra hotel room, we had to cancel my son's swimming lessons, an extra day boarding of dog, and i had to take an additional day off work. Based on this horrific experience, full refund of the rental cost should be reimbursed. Ward

Van was fine but the people at the rental place were terrible. Very rude, accused me of not filling up the truck when I brought it back even though they watched me fill it up at their gas station. This experience will impact where I rent from in the future, it will not be U-Haul. I'm not the only person to complain about this location. This location is costing you business.

I believe Uhaul provides excellent value for the price. But I share my experience to advise that one must take good pictures at pick up. When I picked up, there were loose debris obviously not cleaned previously. Drop off 24 hours later, the owner accused me of staining on the floor and offer me a mop to clean and I refused because of the rude attitude and surprise. I only moved dry furniture so there is no way it came from me and nobody carried drinks. Also the engine light turned on the day I returned it, this is due to poor maintenance of equipment. I waited 10 minutes for a printed invoice at the unattended counter only told it's in the email, poor customer service, not even a thank you.

Perhaps ensure extra staff on hand for the month end rush! There was only one person to care for the gas station, taking phone inquiries from people looking for last minute bookings all at the same time as finishing up paper work on my rental. Not really a big deal but I arrived 10 minutes early to make sure I could be on my way by my 9:30 AM start time. I didn't get going until 9:40 AM. Otherwise a good overall experience with no other issues. Thanks

If a customer is dropped off in the SE Calgary they shouldn't have to drop off in NW Calgary Extra hour and a half of driving when there are multiple locations close by

It would be appreciated to have the trailer we confirmed to be at the location. I had requested another location closer to our home but was told we needed to go to a location 25 minutes away to have the trailer we needed. When we got there it was told that they didn't have the trailer at that location. We were sent another 17 minutes away to pick up a different trailer.

The location was extremely convenient, however I was left waiting several times while the one staff person served other customers in the store who came in after me. The instructions were clear "On return, fill up at the pumps here until it clicks" We did exactly as instructed on our return, and brought in the receipt, again as instructed. I had estimated 30 KM total and in fact we were under that at 25KM. The pump clicked at $5.20. I was told that "It has to be more gas" When I reiterated that we had done exactly as we had been instructed, I was told "Even my car takes more gas than this". I offered for him to go out to the pump with me and add more fuel, he refused. I asked how much more he would like me to pay: $5, $20, even taking $20 out of my wallet and asking for a receipt. He continued to tell me I was wrong, the gas would have been more, and then did a calculation of 4km/litre for the small half ton truck, asking for an additional $6. It wasn't the money. I was completely willing to pay whatever was owing. It was the treatment I received. He called my integrity into question. I followed the instructions exactly, offered to go out to the pumps with him which he refused, he argued with me. We returned 5 minutes later as my partner's phone had been left in the truck. The truck was where we left it, waiting for the next customer. It had not been moved and filled up with the additional amount of fuel. I'm concerned that the operator would have simply left it for the next customer to pay again. It isn't a large amount, and as I expressed, it was not the money - it was the way I was treated.

Good transaction. Just can't figure why this always questions the fuel fill. I take pictures before and after and the after always shows a surplus but they have to argue that the fill should be more given the mileage. Crazy. The gauge is higher than it was before I left. Just aggravates on a successful transaction which I have 20+ a year

My whole experience was amazing. The online ordering was easy. I received notifications with pickup information, etc. Pickup was easy and the reception worker was amazing. He let me look at the vehicle to ensure sizing was correct. He gave excellent information about how much gas to purchase as well as information on the towing feature, etc.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Equipment was in poor mechanical shape. First truck had a leak in the fuel line that I had to identify on my own before heading out. Second truck had the check engine light on the whole time and from the sound of it was missing it's muffler.
