We ordered a dolly and blankets. They were not in the truck. Still sitting to hear back about a refund. Some furniture was damaged as a result of not having the blankets. I am disappointed, as have had good experiences with U-Haul in the past.

Fast and efficient

JUANJOSE GFirst there was an issue in being able to get the appropriate vehicle that I needed. The Russian River and Santa Rosa employees repeatedly stated that there was nothing they could do and were unable to offer anything other than to drive an extra 40 miles (20 each way ) to get the appropriate equipment. On short notice I called Alex at the Healdsburg Chevy location and he immediately helped my find an alternative vehicle that would address my needs. Fantastic customer service on his part. His colleagues should learn from him. Unfortunately, there was a problem with my rental agreement and for some reason got cancelled the day of the reservation. When I came to pick up the truck it was no longer available. Alex and Luis very quickly solved the problem and were able to get me a substitute vehicle. Again, exemplary customer service. Kudos to both of them for troubleshooting on the spot without any hesitation and irrespective of how or why the reservation was cancelled. Just make it right. Only issue is with corporate - It is not made clear at the time of rental that weekend per mile rates are 34% higher (!!) than weekday rates. Lack of clarity on that charge discrepancy is a crappy way to do business. Had this been made clear at any point during my rental process that would have been fine. Call it out upfront. Unfortunately, it wasn't so when I had put unexpected additional miles on the vehicle I was charged more than I anticipated. I will make sure to reflect that in my general review of dealing with Uhaul.

Jude GAlex helped me set up the U-Haul rental over the phone he was friendly and very efficient. The U-Haul was clean and ready as described at pick up time. This was a very positive experience I would recommend to anyone with hauling needs.
