The U-Haul branch was hidden inside of phone store, difficult to find. The van had bad smell and I'm not sure if was environmental friendly. The rentee's obligation of "gas refill" should be verbally disclosed although it was stated in the contract.Fabiana L.

My girlfriend and I visited three locations and they were all rude and annoyed when I asked questions about renting a van. After using the 1800 number to make a reservation we went to pick up our rental from a wireless store. Open arrival, the store clerk made a phone call and I was put on speaker with someone with a very strong accent to asked for additional information about the rental, this interaction took about 30mins of my time. Finally when given the key I asked if the van needed to be return with a full tank of fuel and if they were going to inspect the vehicle before I drove it. The clerk simple smiled, shrugged there shoulders and and turned around. Luckily the contract had all the information I needed. Overall checking in at the counter was just a waste of time and energy. This was my first time renting a van but next time I'm going with Home Depot or budget truck rental.tony R.

This is a small storefront store in a tiny shopping plaza. they are not capable of being a UHaul outlet. The pick up was scheduled for 10:00 am. A person didn't show up to the location until 10:15. No apology for being late, nothing. I was not shown or asked to sign a contract or given any explanation about rental obligations. Just handed the key. I had to go to a second location to pick up a hand truck before going to my final destination. I returned the hand truck and rental, put two gallons of gas in the truck to cover the gas used. I handed the key back. Again not asked to sign anything and there was no inspection of mileage of truck. The person behind the counter was busy with customers. i just wanted to leave. Yesterday I received a bill with a $63.75 fuel surcharge. The truck was at half a tank when I received it. It was not full. I was charged for filling the tank. I put in a separate complaint. This location is a joke. I demand that this charge be taken off my bill and I receive a credit.Daniel R.

No one really greeted me. The person responsible for giving me the keys was not there and some other person who didn't know what was going on had to help me. She said she didn't have anything to do with the Uhaul rentals. She gave me the key and I had to ask to please show me where the truck was located. After drving off I noticed that the truck had a flat tire which I had to fill with air 6xs during the move.Valerie M.

I had to pay twice rental charge because the agent on Heat Wireless location (048573) doesn't inform to the customer the terms and conditions about picking up and returning the truck. This place is I rip off I put the truck on a full tank of gas and when I got the email of my receipt it said it was in a half a tank of gas and the mileage was wrong I called and I told him it was a mistake he said his send one of his employees to check and that's what his employees said which I know for fact I put a full tank of gas in there and I only went 5 miles from all what I had to do I'm going to my bank to dispute the Chargers because what he's doing is not right and I called him and he does not want to change itMaritza M.

My pick up time was $10:00 am. The owner was not there. I did get the truck until 10:50 am.Wendy F.
I needed to return the truck to this location on Christmas morning. When I got there, the Owner had not shown up to the store yet to open it. I waited awhile on Christmas Day, then had to leave the key with the employees, who were apologetic and kind, but I felt uncomfortable not being able to check out properly.
