First, when we arrived to pick up the truck, the woman who runs the Uhaul counter was not there. It took us 45 minutes to get through the pick up. The truck had over 100,000 miles and would not pick up speed very well and the air conditioner would not blow well (it was an 85 degree day) The Uhaul app was very slow and not easy to use. And no, my name is not Karen. LoL

Having to download the app was cumbersome and took a lot of time I wasn’t expecting. My initial rental was for an actual U-Haul location so I could easily pick-up/drop off and ask questions at the desk etc. The workers at the car wash were nice but they admitted they don’t know much about U-Haul and kept referring me to the app. I had to reach out to the chat for help. I had issues getting a code to get the key, uploading photos of mileage in the app and there was never any info about refilling gas until after I was back with the truck to return. A very unclear process. It took me 30min to actually pull off the lot. Also the change of the new pickup location threw my schedule off as well. The initial location was walkable. This combined with the issues I had picking up caused me to return the U-Haul late.
