I am being charged $30.19 for what when the gas wasn’t past half when we got the truck! Please don’t steal from me when it wouldn’t have taken that to do so abd the truck was there before closing. The guy in Lafayette didn’t have a caring bone in his body!!

The location did not have the dolly’s or the furniture pads I had ordered. I made the reservation 2 weeks in advance and did not receive a phone call from them. None of the other locations (4+) had a furniture dolly or appliance dolly available. I then had to go to another location to get a utility dolly and furniture pads this adding less time off my reservation and more mileage on the vehicle. I would like some time off reimbursement.

The door was locked during business hours so I rang the bell. A woman picked up on the line, and I asked her what I should do since the door was locked, I had a reservation, and no one was in the office. She snarked, "The sign says ring the bell." There are about 20 little pieces of paper handwritten and/or printed on a desktop printer with all manner of announcements. Guess I missed that ONE. The woman was rude throughout the transaction. I won't use that location again.

The pick up of the truck was fine. Using the instructions online, I was able to get things taken care of easily. Dropping back off was only a little difficult because the spot where the truck was parked when I picked it up was taken by another car by the time I dropped it off. Parking is limited around this area, so it was a little difficult figuring out where to park the truck. We were able to make it work in the end and otherwise had a fine experience.

The staff person I worked with was very kind and helpful. The location is tucked into a neighborhood street in a mixed residential / industrial area (typical for Houston). I would not feel comfortable picking up a truck there alone, especially after dark.

Parking unclear. Didn’t actually even check alternate contacts after “requiring” for key pickup. This to me means there are paper tigers in uhauls perception of their procedures to the point the support desk told me to take a random picture as substitute for my passport. Unsure how any of this passes as acceptable to anyone lowering uhauls liability via these procedures

Yesterday was my first time to rent a truck from this location. Website was easy to use. Not a big fan of almost doubling the $19.95 rate because you are required to add $15.00 insurance before you can reserve. My own insurance covers just such rentals so the upcharge was unnecessary and defined a bait and switch. Nonetheless, the customer service at this location (110 Louise St. In Houston was unbelievable especially in this day and age and it was all down to the lovely employee, Danielle. Danielle was in charge of our rental and she is truly a delight. She is professional, thorough and courteous. She made sure we understood everything so there would be no surprises. You can see she loves her customer service role and is organized, knowledgeable and patient ( especially with newbies haha) Would I rent from this UHAUL again? With Danielle in charge I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else. She made the whole experience as painless as possible. Thanks UHAUL for making this portion of my “to do” list seamlessly simple. If only my other projects had Danielle in charge!

The woman working made this one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. She was rude, insulting and tried to have a screaming match with me. Dispatched from 5619 and i hated the whole experience. If she was having a shitty day from whatever personal experience she’s going through then customer service isn’t the job for her because she made all her problems evident. From the moment I walked in she had a bitter attitude and seemed mad to even interact with somebody. I then tried dropping off the truck and she had a problem with where I parked it even though she was missing for 20 minutes and was upset I was looking for her. Im not recommending this location ever.

Dolly I rented was not in truck. Getting a hold of customer service takes way too long, was on hold forever and web chat isn't any faster. Was put through thr wringer and given the run around on who to contact about missing dolly. The charges have yet to be removed. No issues with the storage unit where I picked up the truck (besides forgetting to put my dolly in the trunk) but my experience with Uhaul as a company was not great.

The manager or customer service representative I worked with was excellent. Helpful, friendly, supportive and explained everything about the rental. I don’t have their name but they wore glasses, were working on the day after Christmas, and is possibly non-binary. They made the entire experience so smooth and helpful and really know what they’re talking about!! A good location where pickup and returns are handled smoothly and professionally and there’s plenty of stock.

The location was decent except that the outside of the truck looked like someone used it to go off-roading. It was the U-Haul app, website, and customer service number that were frustrating. I had to enter my information 3 times to pick up the truck and the turn-in site would not allow me to complete my return (apparently a software issue). No one answered at the 24/7 help desk, causing me to sit at the location for an extra 20 minutes waiting. U-Haul needs to address these issues with their software if they are going to continue advertising this option as simple and effortless.

My original request was to drop off at woodlands location. I received a call before ever picking up changing the location I’d be picking up at, and detailing that the truck was to be returned to the 1440 north loop location. Upon arrival there, we could not complete the mobile drop off as it stated we had to be in the woodlands. I saved screenshots of everything as proof, but I’m not sure it matters as the additional fuel and mileage cost from the drive to Houston only to have to turn around and drive to the woodlands nearly doubled the original cost.

Uhaul site was not aware I was coming after hours for pickup and the mobile sign-in wouldn’t work even though it said it was an option 24/7 when I signed up and reserved the uhaul. However, the employee was still available and checked me in to ensure I received the truck in a timely fashion. Checkout with key dropoff was very easy.

I did not appreciate finding my boxed truck inn some weeds that now I am seeking medical attention. It appears there might be something that is either poisonous or an irritant to the skin. However, this location did help me out immensely as The Heights location on 34th left me high & dry by not preparing the van I need correctly. U-Haul needs to credit me for something with all of the chaos I had to go through on Memorial Day evening.

DO NOT do the rental and return online. It’s painfully long and cumbersome. As much as it can be a pain dealing with people, it is so laborious and time consuming doing on your phone. I do not recommend.

The woman we dealt with at this location was terrible. This location did not have all of the items we reserved and what they did have was not in the truck. We had already left the location when I realized this so I called, and she was extremely rude and unhelpful about it. We also returned the truck on the day it was due but had problems completing the return with the UHaul app. We thought the return was completed until we were prompted by the app the following day to return the truck, at which time we went over to the location and went through the app's return steps. The location was closed that day, but we tried knocking on the door anyway just to see if anyone was there to help us. The same woman was there, and we just ended up getting screamed at that they were closed. I summary, we were charged for all of the items we reserved but didn't get (furniture pads) and an extra day with the truck because of problems with the app. And got screamed at to boot. Hoping U-Haul can correct our bill.

There was a major issue finding this location. Uhaul sent me the wrong address for this location after changing my pick up location 24 hours before my reservation. The morning of I clicked on the link for the address in the text message and it took me across town. Additionally, I clicked on the email that Uhaul sent and it also took me close, but to the incorrect location. I had to google Heights Mini Storage, and after speaking with the representative (who was very nice and helpful) she menitoned that the location had been purchased and they now use a different address than the previous owner. This caused me to be late to my reservation and then late for my movers at home, which was further away due to Uhaul changing my location at the last minute. Overall, I was very unsatisfied with this Uhaul experience, however, the employee at Heights Mini Storage was so understanding and very very helpful.

My rental pickup location was changed without notice, and changed to a facility that wasn't open when I requested the rental. On top of that, the destination was further from my original selection, which resulted in additional charges. Would not recommend.

One of the worse experiences i have encountered. I didn't originally book here. The first place called me the DAY before and told me the truck i reserved was damaged and they told me to go to another location. I had to drive an extra 3 miles to this location. Then, I was told that reservation was cancelled because i took longer than 1 hour to pick up after my 9 AM Reservation. So, i drove an extra 2 more miles to pick that one up. I originally set up a PICK up walking distances from where i was moving (west 18th) and scheduled a DROP OFF right where i was moving too. (Off Fry and West Little York) So, i estimated 25 miles on my ORIGINALLY reservation. The place that actually had the uhaul available, DID NOT schedule the rental the way I reserved it and told me i needed to drop it off at the same location. I DID NOT account for an EXTRA trip to return the rental. So, what was 25 estimated Mileages, turned into 50 Miles. So, your "29.95" 15 ' Rental, plus mileage ended up costing me $119. I will keep this in mind the next time i plan on using moving services. I understand this is a business and you need to make money, but scamming your customers out of additional dollars is bad business. I budgeted for $75-$85 tops after my reservation, NOT $119.

The truck was in terrible condition. Alignment was messed up and the company failed to clean the inside cabin. There was what looked like soda spilled all in the cup holders, on the floorboards, and seats. I also was renting and kept calling to extend the hours but the last hour or so I forgot to make that last phone call so they charged me for another day. What a rip off. It wasnt even 24 hours of having the truck. So I paid close to $200 for 10 hours of use of a dirty, not very road safe truck? This isnt acceptable. I couldnt even drive over 50 with the steering wheel shaking out of control.

everything about this rental was a poor experience. The truck was dirty, the equipment i requested was not in the truck. and I had to spend hours trying to get things fixed. I was charged incorrectly and have still been waiting to be contacted about all the issues that I had with Uhaul. I've used Uhaul for several moves and this had never happened before, so it was very confusing. I think it was this particular location. It was a shady area of the Heights.

This is for uhaul overall: I reserved the 20 foot truck 3 weeks in advance to ensure I had not only that size, but a favorable location. I got neither. I was stuck with a 15 foot truck which meant I had to throw away a lot of my possessions because I had no other means of getting them. Also, I had to drive a lot further to pick up my truck, because the 5 locations that were right by my apartment didn't have the equipment dollies I needed either. I always have a terrible experience with uhaul reservations.
