I was surprised to get a bill for 27.00 for cleaning I didn't agree to. The truck was as clean when I delivered it as it was when I picked it up. The truck was only used to drive to drop off location. It would be your responsibility to wipe it down inside and out. Especially wit h this COVID-19 scare ! I expect a refund of the "cleaning fee"Craig P.

We rented a trailer that had a light out. We called the place we rented it from and they gave us the road side assistance phone number and hung up on us. We never got in touch with roadside service, as we remained on hold over a half of an hour, and had to take that risk for our journey with emergency flashers on a majority of our move.GILBERT K.

This was the most horrible place that I ever been to. They treated my son and I terribly. He may as well have pushed us out the door when it was time for them to close. He was hateful and downright rude! I will never go there again! He and another guy got in a fight right in front of us and left us standing there to figure out how to get our trailer. Thank goodness a guy that drove a wrecker truck there came and helped us. We were told the trailer lights worked, but the left blinker wouldn't work and the bottom light kept going in and out. The elderly gentleman was ride as I walked through the door. Blake was great through the whole process but the ladies that work for him are awful. One was in pajamas and the other obviously had been waking up on the wing side of the bed for quite sometime now. There were kids everywhere behind the desk and it was a disaster. A mistake was made on my charges and everything I would call to try and rectify the situation, the woman who answered the phone was a complete witch. Although it took over a week to do, they finally did get my refund processed.Samantha M.

The older man that helped me when I arrived waited 27 minutes while he did something on there computer before acknowledging he had a customer there and another girl ended up helping me. Upon returning it he was very rude & not helpful. He could not process three uhaul return and give me my change from the $100 deposit that I had given upon renting the truck because I had used the dolly and only went 9 miles instead of 15 like I estimated online when I reserved it. He told me that I would have to come back later for my change when someone could fix the invoice receipt & give me my change back. He was totally disrespectful & rude. I would not recommend letting this business have a Uhaul renting agreement because I have had a terrible experience and will not use this place again!!Laurie P.

When I asked how much for a one way the lady told me she had no way to know. Acted like I was putting her out to even ask. I'm not sure how it's my responsibility to figure that out when she is the one that works there. She was very rude and short to me. I deserve to be treated better than that. Someone I'm giving my money to should at least be able to look up the price for me. If I could give zero stars I would.DAVID C.

Called this location IN PERSON talked to an employee a few days before my rental needs. Was assured trailer was reserved. Arrive on schedule/on time to be told my trailer was at another location across town. IT WAS NOT! Called back to Helton's, they said they had the trailer. Drove back across town and picked up trailer. All this time I had two laborers sitting on their butt's drawing wages waiting on me and the trailer. Terrible management!MICHAEL C.

I feel you can improve for your next customer by having the truck clean before a customer pick up the truck. Also, do not become anger when customer ask you to clean a dirty truck and an employee jump in truck and slam door with anger. U must always follower U haul policy.Avis S.

Everyone inside of the locations were beyond rude. Lack of communication of payment and no customer service. At. All. Never againNIck B.
Lady wasn't helpful at all. Did not give all necessary information. Truck seemed to be well maintained but was not clean. Young man when we returned the truck was much more pleasant and helpful. On previous rentals at other locations, a days rental was twenty-four hours and we were not informed that a day was only eight hours. We rented after 9 am and were expected to return by 6 pm. By the time we found this out, there was no way we could get back by 6 pm so we kept the truck overnight. Luckily, the young gentleman was helpful when we returned the truck the next morning. But it made for a stressful situation when it shouldn't have been. We could have the truck back on time if we had been aware of the deadline. Like I said, if the dozen or so previous experiences, a day rental was twenty-four hours. This is the first time we have used this provider and I'm not sure whether I would use this same provider again if I had a choice. The lady was rude and unhelpful. When we had gone to this same location in the past looking into the possibility of a rental, there were different people there and they were friendlier and more helpful. That is why we returned. The truck was empty and dirty and I was charged for cleaning it up and it wasn't from me the man told me and a witness that he didn't even know what condition the truck was even in because it had been stolen and they hadn't had time to check it over.then he told me that I would only be charged for Saturday and they closed at noon and that u could return it Sunday evening and wouldn't be charged for Sunday but I was. I also put $25 worth of gas in it and it still had gas in it as well.Shirley G.
Equipment was poorly maintained the truck i rented was not available. So I supposedly got a upgrade from a 10ft truck to 15ft but that was a downgrade. I was only using the truck to tow a vehicle so the longer truck made it hard to drive and see the trailer. The worst part was the increased gas use as I was towing over 200 miles so it cost way more gas not very happy will most likely look into another company next time I tow a car as I do it often.Jake T.

The equipment was ready when we got there to rent it, and checking it in was a breeze. I felt the service was top notch and the use of media really simplified the process. On line reservations are the way to go, reminders are sent to the renter firming equipment availability etc. Very pleased.Daris L.

He charged me over $100 more than I paid him. I turned the uhaul in at 8:00 Saturday night and I was charged until 8am Monday morning. I paid for 2 days originally. He said it was ok to bring it back early and I put the keys in the key return.Erik A.

I hadn't rent a truck like this before. I think if someone could had personally gone over all the trucks features with me before I left would had been more helpful. Features like, having to turn off the towing button every time I started the trunk and how to turn on the curse control. Other than that I have no complaint.Tomas G.

The charges were not explained Clearly when making the reservation. I am guessing that we were charged for using the dolly but that was not explained either. Yet the dolly was Included in the truck. When we questioned at check out the answer was mileage and we would be emailed a receipt. No paper in the printer. The only staff member who was pleasant and helpful was the older gentleman who checked us in.Julie S.

Attendants were not trained properly on the self-pickup system so it took much longer to rent than necessary. They didn't have the appliance dolly that I rented. The truck was full of cigarette ashes and smelled like smoke inside. The light in the cargo bay did not work.Brandon R.
