Terrible customer service. Me father and I were told that we didn't know what we were doing and we're blamed multiple times for the inconvience. The representative refused to talk to my company to set up the billing in their name and I had to pay out of pocket for the rent. And repeatedly talked to us like we were unintelligent. We have used uhaul multiple times and ever had an expierence like this.

The vehicle that I needed was not at the first location I requested it from. Then when I got to this location it wasn't there either. I was supposed to get the small box truck instead of the van I asked for at the same rate but I didn't get that either. Even though the woman at the front desk could see it on her computer. Also there was no ramp on the truck so it was a struggle to use the vehicle I didn't intend to pay for. The online products don't match the in store products and I was told not to go online to book but call a store. This was supposed to make moving more convenient but it was more of a headache than anything at all.

Explained my preference for a drop off location but instead of my request the drop off was moved even further away from where I live. I have a U-Haul 2 blocks from my house that I have always used. Yet is was scheduled to drop off 11 miles away,

It was raining the day of our move, but if you read the U Haul contract it clearly states they are water resistant not water proof so they can leak as much as they want and are not responsible for any damage FYI! Also was charged for gas after we had put gas back in to the level of when we picked it up, because of the extensive signage posted inside about a $30 service fee to fuel plus the girl stated it would be $5 a gallon even though the sign said $4.50. I made sure to put fuel back in so I would not have to pay these costs. I took pictures of the gas gauge upon pick up and drop off showing the levels to ensure I was covered. I was still charged $17.50 for 5 gallons. Just another way of making some extra money I guess. Not only did the back of the truck leak there was water in the driver seat and door panel compartments.

Improve the communication channel between U-Haul and the dealers. For example, I ordered and confirmed reservation of a 20' truck with U-Haul online. Upon arriving at the store, I was informed that only a 15' was available and that U-Haul had promised me a truck that was not rentable.

Below is a cut and paste from my original request for a UHAUL. 5 days Prior to picking up this equipment I stopped by the office listed below to see if I could pick up one day early. I was told it was not a problem that the equipment would be there. When I showed up I was informed that my equipment was not at this location and that I needed to drive across town to Lee's. Upon arriving at Lee's I was told it was not there either. But the nice lady there did actually and make a phone call to see where my equipment was. After it was located I had to drive back across town to another location(listed above). There the nice staff got me in and out in short order. I recommend the above listed location and base my review on that and on the nice lady at Lee's. Conway U Storage 2824 Prince St Conway, AR 72034

make sure a wiring hookup is on the tow vehicle BEFORE day of rental. Nobody mentioned it until I was ready to pickup the trailer. I assumed uhaul had one..... I would have had one installed had i known earlier....like the day i reserved the trailer, 4 days earlier.......

The people were fairly friendly. I wanted to reserve a 17 foot truck the following Saturday. I thought I should go in person instead of using online as they could talk with me about what's best for my move. They did talk me into buying some moving supplies to go with the moving boxes I needed. I asked him if 4 days is usually enough time he said yes... He printed off the contract and realized he made a mistake and set the pickup date for that day I walked in.... Instead of next Saturday...He then took a pen and crossed off the pickup date and informed me he would correct it and I wouldn't have to worry about it. I called about a day later and was informed by customer service that I was supposed to have picked it up that last Saturday... Which meant the employee didn't fix the issue. I decided to call during that branches normal hours and see if I can speak with the same person to see if he remembers me and can help fix the issue. Unfortunately he wasn't working that day and the person who was working didn't have a clue about the issue... She said that the reservation was cancelled due to no pickup. But would go ahead and just put in a new reservation... I said ok. ... They were nice to call me the day before to Confirm which I did... The day of the reservation I show up and they don't have my truck but instead wanted to give me a 24 footer for no extra cost... I declined as I cannot drive such a large vehicle but I could drive the 20 foot one instead... I noticed during my packing I would need two trips as there was no way of fitting it all in one trip... I understood this will cost more but I didn't have much of a choice so I took two trips back and forth from Conway to bentonville. I get a phone call on the fourth day about a hour and half left on my second trip... From the drop off location asking why I haven't dropped off the truck yet... I told them I still have one day left and it will be dropped off today... They told me the gates lock at 8 and I said sure no problem..... Next thing I know there is the additional charge on my account...I called and asked about it and the customer service employee told me it was an additional day and the extra for insurance and mileage...

I was called a "sorry son of a bitch" and told "I'm going to make sure to add as many charges as I can to your rental". Unbelievable. I have never been treated like this. I have contacted The Better Business Bureau and am looking towards an Arbitrator. I have a complaint filed with a marketing manager but have yet to hear back.

First you should have Dolly's inside the uhaul and not try to charge extra for a dolly. No one walked outside and explained to me how to anything about safety, where the first aid kit was located, no one inspected the uhaul. Very poor customer service. The entire seat had a huge stain on it also. You would think charging 39.95 a day .99 cents a mile that the dolly wouldn't cost extra.

I don't understand why I picked a location less then a mile from my house but I had to drive 6 to go pick up the truck. Now I got charged for 12 plus miles when I could have done it in 5. I am very upset that I could have paid 5 dollars for mileage and instead I have to pay 16ish. Not pleased with Uhaul at all. I know it's not the locations fault but I will not use this company again.
