The plan was not to pickup at Hinsdale location. Originally I confirmed to pickup in Westmont. I did not receive a phone call the previous day to inform me about the change. I found out early Thursday morning by downloading the app to my phone. My fault for not realizing I must fill out the contract on my phone prior to arriving for pickup. I had confirmation that I already had a contract. Plus you had my credit card, I thought I was done. The representative at Hinsdale was very helpful and friendly, He helped sort out the mess along with his regional associate. Why was it a mess? It appeared that I was to pickup the truck at Hinsdale and then drop off in Westmont. Wrong, I was dropping off in Michigan. There is a lot to be said about this experience, none of it good. Here is a good idea, your trucks should be equipped with toll transponders. When a client returns the truck those unpaid tolls should come up at the closing. Most expressways in Illinois are no stop tolls. But to be honest, I completely forgot about them until much later. Why did I forget? 1. I have a transponder in my car. I don't even think about it. 2. I was so frazzled by the lost time it took to get the contract and truck on the road I didn't see the toll gates. Another good idea is to display a sign in the cab that says: DON'T FORGET THE TOLLS! Another thing that gave me stress was leaving my car at the pantry store for a couple of hours. I picked Westmont because of the large parking lot. Thank you to the Hinsdale clerk allowed me the time to leave my car in his store front lot. And I didn't realize 10' trucks have no ramp. AAHHH!!!I could only transport half of what I needed. Also my original drop off location was not available??? So in closing most of my comments are not directed at this location or the kind gentleman who works there representing uhaul. He helped sort through a bad system.

Location not staff by someone expecting or could check int he vehicle. The location processed checkin late and could not correct mis-charges. When additional invoice appeared in email, I responding indicating issues and have heard nothing after a week. Finally had to cal UHaul customer service line to get straightened out. Rep make request to sup. for correction. Will take another week or so to find out if it processes.
