Rental trailer had Utah plates on it and a few middle finger salutes we took from Canadian motorists as they passed. The sign of the times UNFORTUNATELY since King Trump became a Dictator. Trailer, hitch and tires all performed well for us here in British Columbia CANADA. The country not the 51 state.

EDWARD LI wanted to rent the trailer from 5 P.M. to 5 P.M., couldn't do it online and online process is ridiculously long. I picked the trailer up around 4:45 and returned it at 4:45 and your computer charged me for 2 complete days! I guess this how U-Haul makes its money by stealing from customers! Not only is the pickup and drop of point in a gravel disgusting parking lot there is nobody there! I had to text the manager of the wood working shop that the trailer was returned and he texted me back at 10:14 with a thumbs up!! Really !!?? Not good!! I' rented trucks and car haulers before to drive across this country and had no problems, your little backyard rental places don't cut it!!

ed wOriginally booked for Lethbridge but had to pick up in Coleman. The guy who rented it before me was 3-1/2 hours late and left the truck dirty. The truck itself had the ABS light on, squealing blower motor and we found out that the box leaks when we unloaded. Hard to maintain a truck that never stops moving though;) This was a hassle but the people at U-Haul customer service were exceptional even though they have to deal with some real “characters” I’m sure!
Jason MThe app logged me out before completing the return truck process before I was informed on how to return keys and before I could upload additional photos of my return. The process said complete but if there are any issues with the truck, I will be unsatisfied due to being unable to prove the truck is in good condition with my photos. Was also lucky to notice a key drop box close by.

John BI run into errors with the U-Haul app when picking the truck up and dropping it off which was the only frustrating part of renting the truck. One error, when picking up the truck was that the app would not recognize the back of my BC license. When scanning or submitting a photo of it. Another was when taking photos of the condition of the truck before taking the truck from the pickup location. Pickup location grate. U-Haul app is frustrating.
Justin BIt was a much longer drive to pick up the truck than anticipated which made the trip 2 hours longer. But when I called, they extended the mileage allowed for me, so that was great
SHERRIE CThe lock box for the keys wouldn't open even after 4-5 attempts. Had to force the latch pin down with my house key to open the lock. The locks need to be lubricated more often so they function properly. I also only put 10 km on the truck but paid for 40 miles. I would like a refund for the difference applied to my credit card.

Cameron HMy hitch ball was a little too big so I was loaned one that worked and had assistance getting the trailer hooked up to my truck. I had trouble unhitching with no one there to help but also had uncertainty with my arrival time. Having a full-time person in hand for hooking up and unhitching would give an excellent rating. I realize this isn’t necessarily possible in a small-town site.
Shannon PLocation was difficult to identify, unmanned, and extremely casual. It was a lot adjacent to an unrelated business, with no one around. Wasn’t even sure the rental return would be acknowledged,
William JHave better customer service. I don't care if I have to use a moving company, or carry the household goods on my back, I will never use U Haul again.
Kevin WOwner was not present. Had to check in remotely and owner didn't return my phone call for over 30 mins, wasting my valuable time on moving day when I already had to drive 2 hours each way out of my way to pick it up. Owner called me from a remote location with kids screaming, playing, splashing in the background and terrible cell service and kept dropping the call. Trailer was parked on a small hill and was impossible to hook up without it rolling into the back of my truck and scratching my paint. Would not recommend pick up from this location.

U-Haul customer service and scheduling over the phone was very adaptable to my fluctuating schedule. Thank you to those who I talked to. In person, Jeremy at His and Her Home in Coleman, AB was awesome. He was very understanding and helped me out with learning the process of U-Haul. Thank you very much, Jeremy. The lady that helped with the drop off at U-Haul Moving & Storage of Westside in Edmonton was happy and easy going. Which was great after a hectic moving day. Thank you, U-Haul.
conrad hGot stuck in their parking lot with U-Haul. Tires were not in the best shape at all.
Darren YThe mobile pick up & drop off is flawed. We returned the truck at night, so getting the required pictures in the dark proved challenging. What is stated to be a 15 minute process, took us 2 hours. We kept being instructed to repeat the pictures. We returned the truck in a blizzard, so being outside attempting to repeat pictures was next to impossible with frozen hands after a twelve hour move. We also had to drive an extra 40 minutes one way, in a blinding blizzard to return the truck when there is a uhaul depot in my town. The location tracker wouldn't let us return the truck in my town so we had no choice but to trek on in the storm. This resulted in extra km fee & more expensive gas. And added over an hour of extra driving time. I was very frustrated since I had originally requested drop off to be in my town.

Elisabeth Pi dropped the car dolly off on feb2/24 and it is now feb5/24 and i still dont have confermation of return ...at time of drop off he said to drop and he would make contact with me later ..still waiting

Marv Hhad to travel 81 miles to get one of the pieces of equipment that i rented, then travel over a 100miles to pickup the other pieces of equipment, then 30miles to get get back home to load the truck and trailer. Spent over five hours traveling just to get the equipment rental pickup.. Then u-haul changed that the equipment was to be returned to different locations.
LLoyd WTons of room to park and drive around except large hill on one side was icy the day trailer was dropped off and 4x4 was needed to be able to straighten out trailer. No one available to check out however I received a text back stating exactly where to park trailer and that he would do the check out the next morning. I took photos of trailer on drop-off, texted it to him and all was checked out like he said early the next morning.
Ken PIt would have been nice to know the drop off process either at the time of booking, or when we came to collect the truck and sign the documents. I ended up locking the truck and giving the keys back before I had a chance to finish the online process of leaving the U-Haul. Other than that it was a good pick up location.
Lorrene AThe agent went above and beyond to ensure I had a positive rental experience. U-haul's web site caused some delays because the auto transport was not showing as available even though it was. I had to reserve the item at another location and the agent was able to change the location on the reservation after.

Hirenkumar PShowed up to the location in sparwood and the rental was not there! They never contacted me to let me know it wouldn’t be there! Thankfully the location in Coleman could help us out!
Steven HBullshit reason why I couldn't drop the uhaul off at the sparwood location. The coleman uhaul person pretty much told me the uhaul traffic person lied to me. Had to use more kms and more gas than I should have had to. The Coleman owner gets 5 stars from me.
Jason SIt would be good if they could have some packing boxes on hand there because UHaul wouldn’t ship at To my Coleman address. His and Her ordered some for me but they didn’t come in time.
Lynda CIt's an unmanned drop off location with trailers and vans all over the place. Very muddy and not even, so hard to drop a trailer. I dropped the trailer by myself and am now charged an after hour service fee. Not sure how that can be since there was NO service. Absolutely ridiculous. Be aware of your drop off location. It might be VERY far away. (there was one closer for me that I could NOT drop off at) I will not use UHaul ever again.
Sabine KI rented a truck in Cranbrook. Was called and told I needed to go to Sparwood. Once leaving and driving to soar wood an hour and a bit away I was told I would need to go to Coleman another 20 mins past sparwood. When I got there the location was closed. I called the location and they agreed to meet me when they were free from prior commitments 2 hours later. This is unaccredited of uhaul and as as result I would have an extremely hard time to recommend uhaul to anyone. The folks in Coleman were great but it does not make up for the incompetence of uhaul.
Dawn TEven the location was close during Sunday, owner Jeremy agreed to cater my need for the service. Even met me early un the morning just to guve me a walk around the truck and gave me the keys.
Marel LThe drop off was very pleasant and was very easy. Great communication; and they even was so kind to help me so much in time allowance and was easy going and very pleasant. Highly recommend them to anyone!
MaryAnne VThis was a bit of an awkward place to return a rental vehicle. There was no address or signage on the building, but as there were three other U-Haul trucks parked at the back, we knew it was the drop off location. There were no staff on site to return the truck to, and leaving a fully gassed up rental vehicle, unlocked with keys inside made me quite nervous, in terms of my own liability. There was no key drop box or slot that we could find, but we were advised by phone to just leave the truck there with keys above the visor. My suggestion would be to have a local cell number to at least text the return to, and a drop box or key slot somewhere on the building. This was a very weird experience.
