Absolutely awful owner of this Uhaul. Rude, condescending, and a liar!! Asked him if I could have a specific Uhaul for the tire tread and he stated it's against Uhauls policy to jump ahead of ones brought in before the one I asked for. I called Uhauls office and they said that there was no such policy! Also, the home office said the Uhaul I was asking about was already assigned to me but, upon day of pickup again the Marshfield owner said it wasn't!! All the way around, I was left extremely upset, unhappy!! The truck we rcvd did the job, but that's really not the point here! I'm not going to move back to Marshfield but, if any of my friends from there ask about that location, I'm going to tell them to go elsewhere. Happy with Uhaul the company, not dealer!!Jane S.

The place was easy to find, and the gentleman working at the location took care of offloading the trailer and provided instruction for future rentals if I ever need it. I would rent from this location again if I ever have a need.Elaine D.

The location is Good. The Uhaul App doesn't work very well. DO NOT USE THE BACK BUTTON! At each step make absolutely sure your information is correct, because you cannot go back and correct a piece of information. If you press the back button, the app basically hangs in there, spinning forever.Reza F.

That the people in "traffic" allow the Heritage Uhaul dealership in Auburndale to secure vehicles for customers without having the Marshfield location commandeer them from that location. As a consumer I wanted to pick up the Uhaul in Auburndale closer to my home base so I would not have had to put on as many miles. However, "traffic" would not release the vehicle to the Heritage folks. Go with what the customer wants -- PLEASE. This "if you are within 6 miles of Marshfield you must go with the Marshfield vendor is baloney!Christine H.

The guy running the place was rude, the way he talked to me gave the impression he very much did NOT respect women, then a male friend of mine went to talk to him with no problem and He acted as if everything was great, making sexist comments to my male friend. I had to drive 100 miles round trip to pick up a trailer as mine was not available. Marshfield was awesome but the Manager at Schofield WI location was rude and not helpful. He was very unapologetic for not having the unit available.Jay W.

We reserved a truck 10 days in advance with a credit card for a pick up in Wausau WI and the day prior to our move U-Haul called and let us know we would have to drive 40 mins to marshfield Wi to pick up our vehicle- the added cost in fuel and time will make it very unlikely that I will ever rent with U-Haul againJohn W.
It was very very difficult to access the key to the lock box. I was on the phone with the 800 center for an hourAndrew K.
I had to spend an 30 mins at the location just to scrap the ice and snow off the fully covered windshield. Then I get it to my house only to spend another 2 hours trying to unfreeze the back door to load it. Then the next day it wouldn't start so had to wait 3 hours for roadside assistance to come and jump it. Was afraid it wouldn't start if I shut it off so wasted a quarter of a tank of gas when I only took the truck 9 miles round trip. Have the receipt to show that it cost 17 dollars to fill it back up. This was a nightmare rental experience and I am very reluctant to ever use uhaul again as this location close to my house. The owner odd this location was here when I picked up the truck and didnt even offer to help clean it off!MaryMargaret T.

I would like to pick up a vehicle with a FULL gas tank. I didn't like having to make an additional stop for gas along the way on what is an otherwise a hectic moving day. The tank was only half full when the truck was picked up.linda B.

We had a reservation for pick up at Barlett's auction Center in Wisconsin Rapids. I called them on Thursday to make sure there would be a truck for us. The guy assured me there would be...there wasn't!! We had to drive another 45 miles out of our way to get one! We had guys waiting (on the clock!) for over an hour!leah C.
