I turned the truck in a day early with extra fuel in it and I had to call back the next day to insist that he log the truck in so I wouldn’t get a late fee. I should have gotten a partial refund for returning it a day early.

Michael HRecommendation to friend only if convenient with schedule and proximity to residence location. Drop off Parking was small for truck size. The satellite business and U-Haul share the lot. Very challenging to park truck with cars parked so close. No parking allowed off street. Had a U-Haul truck not just left, we would not have had a spot. Gas tank started at 3/16. Warning light alerted us to fill on way to our destination to start our packing. . Who rents a truck with only a little over 1/4 tank of gas. Again, not a convenient situation for our schedule. Upon our return we thought the tank had the same amount as the start, but it was slightly below. We were charged $15. That is the most inconvenient, inconsistent and shifty business! Please consider your policy. We have not used a U-Haul in probably 25 years. When you have to move to another city over two hours away, it’s just not the most convenient situation that you provided.
