The van was absolutely filthy. I go get the key the employee states “Last customer said it’s really dirty” I asked for a broom and I’m given a blower. All 4 tires needed air. If you are aware of a dirty truck it’s the responsibility to clean it. I will not be renting from Hop N Go again

I have never been to a Uhaul that the workers for the company don't make sure the everything is okay. This location only want the money and don't care anything about the people that come into them.

PHILLIP HThe Lot the U-Hauls were in were poor and degraded. Was very difficult hooking up the trailer to my truck. This was not even the location I chose to pick up a U-Haul at. The original location was closed on that day yet i was still allowed to reserve a trailer there. The condition of the trailer was very poor as well. There was corn-feed on the floor of the trailer and the trailer did not keep water out, resulting in the boxes and bed and whatever else that was touching the ground to become soaked. Very poor experience from the pick up to the drop off. Both the website and app would not allow me to drop off the trailer. I had to call and request help in order to avoid any unnecessary fees. I will not be using U-Haul in any future moves/tasks that require the services that the company offers and I will be recommending to other people not to use the company as well because I frankly wouldn’t want anyone else to go through the frustration and pain that I had to experience with the quality and service of U-Haul.
AARON BThis UHaul outlet on Wheeler Road (Augusta, GA) was extremely convenient. Seeing that they had the sized trailer on the lot that I needed, I entered the store, made my request, and the clerk quickly processed the transaction. He then helped me with connecting it to my truck, gave it the "seal of approval", and I was on my way. Dropping it off the next day was just as easy. I will definitely look to this location again when needing a moving trailer. Great service~!!

JOSEPH LIf you dont have an accident with the insurance you should get some of that back, you guys get more expensive and come with less every time I use one. I hate relying on other people to help me move but im changing that. I cant believe there was no dolly on board and no straps. Those are extra? What the fuck? Uhaul has been reduced to making as much as possible while offering as little as possible. Truck i used had a little over 130000 and has definitely paid itself off and more (estimated 128,000 gross at 130000). This company used to try and help but now they want to corner you and get as much cash as possible.
BOYCE BEmployee was rude. And made it difficult to get the uhaul. Didn't have the one I needed. Told me to come back later. Asked him about the 20 ft truck outside and he said that one was already rented but then gave it to me.it was weird. Had to pay for two days but needed to return it 8pm Saturday
JAMES BI had scheduled pick up at another location, an actual uhaul place. Night before, I was switched to here which is really a convenience store. I had reserved a dolly but they didn't have one. What is the point of reserving? Luckily they had a different type that worked fine but again, if I reserve an item, that item should be there when I arrive. This is the 2nd time this has happened with a reservation. Like the old Seinfeld episode, you're grest at taking the reservation but actually holding the reservation is the important part.

John RFirst the guy couldn’t communicate well (broken English), he informed me this location did not assist in any way. I hooked up to a car hauler and did not notice until I got home and loaded the car that one of the tire straps was broken. Fortunately I had straps of my own to secure the car, when I returned the trailer I informed him the strap was broke and he replied” I know they are supposed to come fix it. I usually use the Wrightsboro Road location but had to use 3755 Wheeler Road because they had a trailer. That will NEVER happen again.

HERBERT TThe clerk at this location put in the wrong gas report in the system when we picked up the truck, resulting in me being charged extra for gas even though I filled the truck back to where it was at the time of pick up. Another issue I had was that the reservation sent to my email from U-Haul was for the Wrightsboro location, once I got there they told me that I had to go to the Wheeler Rd location to get a 10-ft even though they had three 10-footers sitting outside the Wrightsboro location.
Mamie AI have no problem with the store the clerk or equivalent. My issue is I rented a truck and car hauler. The truck was at a different location than the trailer. No I don't need an explanation it was a hassle to drive to different locations when the location with the truck had several trailers at that location. Poor communication and look way longer than it should have.
DANIEL HVenders need to make sure Equipment is in top notch before it is rented out to someone that may have issues. My tire had wire showing a light that worked when it wanted to.
JESSIE MTire pressure alert was on, and station had no functioning air system. I drove to another location and found the rear tires 10 PSI below recommendation. But after airing them up the alert system would not go off. Drove without a problem. Otherwise fine.
ANNE NStay away from this location not only did they not know anything about uhauls and how to return them but they charged me 105$ for a qrt tank of gas when U-Haul told me they were waiving the gas because the hurricane had all the fuel stations closed and I drove around for 3 hours trying to find an open location to drop off at. The store knew this and charged me anyways idk where 17 gallons cost 105$ but not here in Ga.

BRIAN WThe place told me to dropped the truck off to any U-Haul place and I had went to the different places trying to drop the U-Haul off. Mind you now, it’s a 26 foot truck but you guys want to charge me 26 dollars for over the mileage when it should have been told to me to dropped off is at a certain place on Fulton Industrial. I went to the rental place off cramp Creek, Washington Rd and Rosevelt hwy finally Fulton Industrial because the lady off Washington rd told me it’s certain places for 26 foot truck.
BARBARA BUnfortunately would not recommend this location to a friend. Very slow service to be able to rent equipment. Was told to go to the field and find the trailer and the gentleman would come out to check. After hooking up and waiting 30 min we tried calling the location multiple times. The guy ended up LEAVING. Without telling the only other person working that they have to verify the trailer being attached before we could leave. What should’ve taken 20 minutes took over an hour.

I finally went into the gas station and found someone handling Uhaul. No signage. Then the computers were down and he took the serial number to finish drop off later. A hope and a prayer I don't get hit with fees.
Stephen SWhen I arrived to the location, all of the U-Haul‘s are in a field, covered in trash. I walked into the gas station, which is the U-Haul location, and the attendant behind the desk was very relaxed to say the least the guest in front of me checked out, and immediately came back in with the U-Haul being dead. He requested jumper cables and the attendant told him that he didn’t have any to go check his own truck. Afterwards I checked in and the gentleman took an extremely long time just to get me a tow dolly. He was playing on his phone the entire time scrolling through Facebook. Once he checked me in, I asked how would I get to the dolly? He told me to “pop the curb”. I went over to check the tow dolly, and it was in a location that was not easily accessible. I proceeded to go back inside and let the attendant know which then he became very disgruntled. He went outside with me and then noticed the location. The employee then proceeded to start moving it, and then very abruptly said, are you gonna help me move it or not? Afterwards he left and told me to hook up the dolly and stated that I needed to pull it around for him to take photos, the gentleman Who checked in prior to me ended up helping me hook up the tow Dolly. Overall, it was the worst experience I have ever had when dealing with U-Haul. I have done three trailers in the past month and his attitude was completely unacceptable.

David DThe management was more focused on selling lottery tickets than completing the Uhaul transaction. The person directed us to a dirt lot to hook up the 6 X 12 trailer un-aided from anyone in the rental organization. The tongue weight of the trailer far exceeded my physical ability to lift. Another customer used his jack to raise the tongue high enough to hook up the trailer. This location then required me to drive over a 7 inch curb to have my hook up inspected (photographed). The entire process was less than courteous or professional.

Ryan VI could barely understand him and I filled out all of the paperwork online just to have to go through it all again with him. Due to miscommunication he took the insurance off of my order. I called support and they refused to add insurance. If something happened I would have had to pay $6000 so I returned the trailer early.

Erin EThis review is for the Moving Labor that I reserved with two different moving company that was cancelled by both. This is not the first time I have reserved U-Haul moving labor. Do not reserve this service, it's not reliable at all. Mind you I reserved the services months prior to my move and both companies canceled the day of my move. BAD FOR BUSINESS AND UNRELIABLE SERVICE.

MARTIN MFirst of all my rental was transferred from Wrightsboro rd to this wheeler road location. I didn't receive and email or phone call to tell me this. This caused me to lose about 30 minutes and I was late picking up my daughter from school. Then I get there and it's a lot next to a gas station. I went in the gas station, and he did have my reservation which was fine, but he said he was by himself and couldn't leave the store. He then asked me to come back to the gas station so he could inspect it after i hooked it up. I had to go next door and hook it up in the rain by myself and the lot is muddy. Well i was aggravated and late after all this so I did not go back over for him to inspect it. Also I would have had to turn left on a 4 lane road and another left to get back into the gas station. Lots are divided by a curb.
Bobby Lone employee was in the store trying to help customers and help u-haul customers. we were waiting for over 30 to 40 minutes, which this process of picking up a key usually take 10mins because we complete all the paper work before we got their. there was a dialog difference when talking the employee I had to keep repeating myself. the store usually have two employees in there one helping customers with gas and what's in the store and the other doing the u-haul.

regina wThe gas station that this drop off location was located at had no clear markings on where vehicles should be dropped off. The car dollys and rental trucks were just scattered across the parking lot and the grass of the empty lot next door. Overall vibe of the place was really sketchy.

This was NOT the location I requested, it was an additional 8 miles when the place i requested was a U-Haul center that had multiple trucks and trailers available. This started my rental off with a 3 hour delay.
David GInsure that you have the right mileage and the gas is correct on the truck before renting it out. Both the mileage and gas were wrong on the truck and I got charged for it. I reported this to customer service before I left with the truck. I was told by the customer service representative that it would be noted on my account it was not.

abdulrhman ALocation is more focused on selling vapes, cigarettes and gas than fulfilling UHaul customer reservations. My truck was very dirty, lots of debris and sand in the cab. Cup holders and dash area was so grimy we cleaned with Clorox wipes. The moving pads were all dirty and just thrown in the back of the truck, completely unfolded. One of the moving pads had motor oil on it which got on my husband’s pants which I’m sure they are ruined. They charged me $30 for these filthy pads which was $10 more than website. I think I should be refunded some portion of my costs because this experience was so far below any of my previous UHaul experiences. If my needs are ever referred to this location again I will not use it.
