I have a bad back and the operator would not hook up the trailer like other facilities have done for me in the past.

I am disappointed with the overall experience. I had reserved a 20' truck in Statesboro, GA. My intent was to drive down with my daughter in her car, stay overnight and pick the truck up in Statesboro Saturday morning so I could rent the truck only one way and return it the same day. I was supposed to already be in Statesboro that evening when I received the call from UHaul traffic division telling my one-way rental from Statesboro was not available in any location. I had to pick up a truck in Augusta, GA and drive it to Statesboro, GA empty, then drive it back once we filled it and return it Saturday evening. I downgraded from a 20 ft truck to a 15 ft truck because no concessions were made for my inconvenience and the 20' truck was too expensive. The traffic person did add some mileage to the rental, but not enough to cover the return mileage. I ended up paying over $100 more than I had budgeted. The place I returned the truck to was a gas station and the attendant did not thing to help me unload the equipment which was loaded for me at pickup. I also returned the truck with more gas than I left with and no concession or refund was made for that.
Michelle MThe passenger side mirror is being held up my a wrapping material. The mirrors are needed to prevent hitting someone vehicle, causing an accident. The truck shouldn’t be in use at all.
Edlena J1st - The rental location that I had booked didn’t have the equipment available. They had to send me to another location. 2nd - Equipment was worn. Tough keeping the vehicle in the lane. Stearing was very loose.
Christopher SI was unable to drop here initially because my reservation was so jacked up from the day before, no one bothered to confirm the drop location. I was running so late from the mornings misery, I ended up leaving the hauler, unable to be returned in the system at that time to just barely making my 4:30p appointment. I had to go back to the hop and go once my drop location was remedied in the system to process the return through the app. In 35 years of renting from U-haul, this is the first time I've ever had to deal with such a botched up rental. I guess that's not to bad considering.
