Timbler YThis father and son team are very consistent. This was my second rental This time was for out of state hauling plus towing my car. I had no issues at all with the Uhaul or with my car being on the tow dolly. If I ever need a Uhaul in Georgia again I will only rent from this black owned company. Highly recommend!!!

OUSMANE DI PICKED IT UP ABOUT 8:00 P.M. THERE WAS NO WORKING TAILS LIGHTS ON THE RENTAL, I CALLED LESS THAN 2 MINUTES AFTER I PICKED UP THE RENTAL, THEY WOULD NOT SWITCH OUT THE RENTAL & TOLD ME I HAD TO WAIT UNTIL ROADSIDE COME OUT THAT WAS OVER A HOUR. ONCE ROADSIDE FINALLY CAME WE WAITED OVER ANOTHER HOUR FOR HIM TO TRY TO FIGURED OUT WHAT WAS WRONG. HE HAD TOOK THE DASHBOARD APART I AM PISSED OFF. WE WAS TIRED, HUNGRY, NO PLACE TO USED THE BATHROOM BECAUSE WE STUCK ON ROOSEVELT HWY JUST LESS THAN 2 MINUTES FROM WHERE I PICKED UP MY RENTAL FROM. I ASKED THE ROADSIDE YOUNG BLACK SMART MOUTH GUY CAN U JUST EXCHANGE THE RENTAL OUT BECAUSE WE BEEN OUT HERE WAITING OVER 3 HOURS MY 80 YEAR OLD MOTHER WHOM IS ON DIALYSIS & TOTALLY DISABLED WAS FEELING SICK, ROADSIDE TOLD ME IF YALL CAN WAIT THAN YALL TAKE THE TRUCK & LEAVE BECAUSE I DON’T LIKE TO BE RUSHED WITH A ATTITUDE. I REPLIED HELL I DON’T LIKE THE IDEAL I RENTED A TRUCK THAT I GOT TO WAIT ON TO GET FIXED EITHER THIS IS NOT WHAT I PAID FOR. I ASK HIM WHERE IS THE KEY. I TOOK IT RIGHT BACK WHERE I GOT IT FROM WITH THE DASHBOARD STILL APART & PARKED IT. NOW IT WAS ABOUT 11:00 P.M. WE NEVER HAD THE CHANCE TO USED THE RENTAL. THAN ROADSIDE TEXT ME ABOUT 11:30 SAYING THE TRUCK WAS FIXED. WE WAS HEADING BACK OUT OF TOWN THAN THAT WAS TIME WASTED.

ELCEE BAs a loyal Penske customer, I wanted to give U-haul a chance for my move because the pickup location was slightly more convenient than Penske. I arrived at the location to pick up my U-haul truck and started the pickup process through the phone application. The application got to the point where it wanted me to take a picture of the license plate and then the app failed to continue because it wanted my phone to switch to landscape mode which was not working through the app (I have an android and I suspect this probably worked on an iphone). I had to call U-haul to complete the rest of the process. I received the truck with ⅛ of a tank of fuel. With Penske I always receive my rental vehicles topped off in fuel. I understand U-hauls policy does not require that the vehicle be rented with full fuel but at the moment I was not expecting this. The truck smelled strongly of cigarettes and I had to spend extra time trying to find the owner of the vehicle that was blocking my rental truck in. The truck itself worked well for what I needed but it definitely was not well maintained. I put just shy of $100 worth of fuel in the truck and returned it with ¾. I called U-haul to see if I could be credited for the extra fuel which I was told I could be once I sent in my final photos to show proof of this. After I completed my rental return customer service said they don't know why I was told that and said they could not approve to credit me any money back or give me credit towards a future rental. Everyone I spoke to on the phone was nice/respectful but it seems like they do not understand their own policies well as I was told conflicting information. After this experience, I will be sticking with Penske for all my future rentals.

ROXANN AI had a hard time finding the location and there wasn't a place to park the truck.
Taryn YI returned the truck in good order but I was asked to pay $80+ to return the truck and clear my balance due. That is not correct. I paid for the 3 day rental in advance each day.. I also do not use all the prepaid miles. So, I'm nit sire why I was asked to pay more and I was actually expecting a refund since I did not use all the mileage.

Jacola GPlease remove old drop off locations from map and website. My original drop off location was not accepting vehicles, and they sent me to another location who also no longer accepted vehicles. It was very inefficient and I’m glad I finally made it to the final location after 45 minutes of driving back and forth.
Brittany MThis U-hail rental was just what I needed to pack up and move things from work in one swoop. Even though they were about to close when I went to pick up the truck, the owner, Barry, took the time to make sure I knew how to open and close the cab. I practiced a few times (and was grateful/pretty confident because I hadn’t rented one in ages). Upon returning the truck, I wanted to know what prompted him to be so thoughtful and he said he took note of the fact that I was a female who was renting solo. Then he thought I had several boxes to transfer to the truck from my SUV- so he had hesitated and was prepared to help, if needed. I didn’t have the boxes, but I was thankful for his discernment and willingness to go over and beyond for me. My experience at Horizon exceeds five star service… May this business owner be prosperous and abundantly blessed.
