Don't insult customer and realized that the truck was not setting level. We DO NOT lie.
Rayna BThe first person I talked to said the uhaul office was closed and I could wait another 30 minutes or drop it off in the back of the building. On my way out I asked an individual at the door where I can drop it off since there was no room in the parking lot. He was very helpful and unlocked the gated area where the trailer was supposed to go. He was very helpful.

STEVEN SThis was HORRIBLE! We showed up to a closed business and had NO CLUE what to do. We called the other uhaul place we rented from and they told us we had to use the code on the door, which we did and it took forever to get through the process and we were in a VERY big time crunch. There was NO ONE available to help at the place and we would NEVER tell anyone to go to this location without previously telling them what would be expected upon drop off (which we absolutely were NOT told about). Drop off was very stressful and would rate it negative stars if possible.

Jeff TEven though I had a reservation, the door was locked when I arrived. I attempted to call the 2 numbers listed on the door and the call to both lines could not be completed. I saw people moving around inside and knocked on the door, but was ignored. I ended up having to go around the back and ring the delivery service bell to get a person to tall to. Once they finally let us in, the process when very smooth.

FRANCO FI requested a dolly. I even had the dolly in my car and reserved. When I got there, I was told they did not have any dollies. Just put us behind schedule and we actually damaged furniture because we had to get it out of the house with no Dolly. This is a huge problem. You should not allow someone to reserve a piece of equipment from a location that does not have that equipment in stock. This is false advertisement. I will never use U-Haul again nor will I ever refer anyone else to use it. I hate U-Haul .
Shane DLet me express my deep dissatisfaction with the experience I had using U-Haul for my recent cross-country move. The trailer I rented had defective wiring, which caused significant disruptions to my travel plans and put me in a precarious situation. The issue became apparent shortly after I began my journey. The trailer's lights were malfunctioning due to faulty wiring, which is not only a major inconvenience but a serious safety hazard. This required me to make an unscheduled stop and spend time to fix the wiring issue. Such an interruption was highly stressful and completely avoidable had the equipment been properly inspected and maintained by U-Haul. I trusted U-Haul to provide me with reliable and safe equipment for my move, but instead, I was given a trailer with electrical faults. This negligence not only derailed my plans but also put my safety at risk while traveling across the country. I am extremely disappointed with this experience and the lack of reliability in U-Haul’s equipment.

Catherine BI had originally rented my truck from Columbia, Missouri. The day before, Brooke called to let me know that no trucks were available in Columbia and that I could either take a 26-foot truck from Columbia or I would have to go to Jefferson City, Missouri to get the 15-foot truck I wanted. I told Brooke I wouldn't mind if U-Haul would pick up my uber expense, she said, "No," we will not do that and just repeated my options. She obviously could not have cared that this was a huge inconvenience to me and offered nothing but the larger truck (I was not excited about driving a 15-foot truck and no way confident or felt safe driving a 26-foot truck). Then she read the disclosure that they would call us the day before which she was doing. Really horrible customer service. So since at this late junction, I didn't have a choice, I paid the $68 to uber to Jefferson City. I had requested a dolly so it would be easier to unload. Imagine my surprise when I was told, sorry we are out of dollies. If I wanted a dolly, I could stop by the Columbia store and pick up one. Seriously, you think they could be a little more prepared when you request the truck 3 weeks in advance. The least U-Haul could do is refund my uber fee.

Faye DUpon arriving to the store the U-Haul area was closed off… I had to speak with one of the regular store representatives who had to find the person to look at my truck. After seeing me the representative asked me for my keys and then did not do a walk-through with me or give me any type of paperwork letting me know that I was cleared… Once leaving I checked my bank account and noticed that there was $63 missing from my account. The representative told me to leave and that he would be emailing me. It was not communicated to me that my truck needed a cleaning fee especially since I clean the truck previous also I had the gas gauge right in the same Area that it was in when I picked up my truck originally from the U-Haul store in Kentucky and was charged $40 for gas. This was my worst experience ever with a rental truck especially since I was not informed of things ahead of time and this caused my rental to be more expensive than it needed to be. Also I feel that I was not communicated to you nor did I sign any contracts with the store that I drop my truck off at

James GOur reservation was changed to this location at the last minute and we had to make a 1.5 hour round trip just to pick up the truck. That was very aggravating.
Joe BI got a call at 8:30 that my location has been changed to a location to 40 miles from the original pick up location, which I was set to pick up at 9 and my movers were set to arrive at 10. So I got my 10-month-old ready to tote him along, as we had no one able to watch him. We arrived at the location our GPS took us too, but come to find out there were 3 locations in the city. We finally located it and the staff was nice and informative. However, by the time we got back with the truck to let our movers in, they had been on the clock for 1.5 hours.
Ivory BA truck for long haul should have cruise control! Also the truck was so noisy that trying to use the radio was a waste of time. Other than that, I am satisfied.

CALVIN CNext time if you're going to change the pickup location you should probably notify the customer so I'm not going on a wild goose chase across town trying to find the correct location. All of the correspondence I had received from U-Haul indicated that my pickup location was on Ellis Street across town.
