JEFF WThere were two 10 foot trucks on the lot when I picked up. The unit I received was not clean in the interior. Once driving, I noticed a sound coming from the driver's door suggesting that the door was not fully closed. After pulling over and closing the door, making sure the alert system was not activated, I continued driving and the sound persisted all throughout the rental. It appears the door seals were not sound... and something was rattling within the door itself as well. The less than clean cabin and this noise aside, everything else performed as expected.

Sue HThe vehicle in question, door was not working properly, I lost a 1.5 hr having to wind the cables bad on so I could close the back door? Otherwise I would have been stuck smashed my thumb in the process, not okay.
Victor HThis 10' rental box truck had no heat. I left Angwin, CA at 6am in a dense fog and the window would not defrost since no heat was generated. I had a towel that I continued to wipe off the condensation caused by the outside temperature drop. The vehicle was ice cold the entire move....6am to 2pm
Leonard SThe truck was only 7/8ths full when I got it and I returned it full. A half tank of gas cost me $100 so that's about $25 dollars that I spent without being reimbursed for it. That's wrong and that's what I would tell anyone that wanted to rent from uhaul
Peter CThey were unfamiliar with the refund policy of my deposit because of Internet problems had to use cash. But together we figured it was because of the cash I had to use instead in Fresno.
Anthony jMobile check-in required going inside to get the key--from a cashier who didn't know how to handle it. It took 15 min to find a manager just to hand me the key from a drawer. I would feel more secure if all rentals done with mobile pickup had the key available in the outside lockbox.
David BI was charged an additional $25 for a fee - turned out it was for insurance. However, when I asked the rep about the fee she did not know what it was for and said it was just part of the rental. I asked her to clear it up when I came back she escalated it and I was told it would be taken care of - however I was still charged. Disappointed to say the least.

SELA NProblem with the UHaul software wants to charge for 20,000 miles..... personnel called U-Haul customer service and had the issue resolved, but said they have had the same problem before

Michael FThe person I checked in with did not seem familiar with the process (Viviana?) and I later found out she “accidentally” charged an extra $40 after I left the facility (I prepaid everything and filled out all of the forms before hand to save everyone the hassle). This morning I called the facility to see what happened with the unauthorized charge to my card and they said someone would call me back in a few minutes. No one called so I had to file a claim through U-Haul. The only reason I’m not giving this facility a 1-star review is because Joy was super helpful with getting my trailer hooked up and inspected.

Madison CWe had to call to complete the pick-up b/c taking photos of my DL didn't authenticate me properly. It took WAY too long to pickup and the method was frustrating. The software used to verify information needs to be better.
Michael GConfirmed 15ft on 5/20/22 for pick up 5/27/22. Only available was 10 ft. So trip was doubled to empty storage so mileage doubled and $100.00 in gas. Very high cost which should of been avoided. Showed counter person my email confirmation but only option for 15 ft was further away. Very unhappy with the expense I feel I should be compensated as it was not my error. Thank you

Trent GAngwin rental was great, very helpful staff. It's the uHaul rental that's an issue. Very difficult to get the truck we needed at the site we wanted. The site and truck kept getting changed. Then I found out you have to look for the green guarantee on the website order to be sure you have the rental you want. Very misleading and nerve racking, not sure I'll be using uHaul again.
DENNIS VPro - Gloria was super nice and very professional. Con - Backup mirror (lower one) was broken when I picked up the truck. It would be great if everything was fixed.
Ho KWe were told two days before our move the 20’ truck we had reserved weeks before was not available. A 10’ truck was offered at same price at a location ove 50 miles from our home. The woman who called was rude and had a “take it or leave it” attitude. We will NEVER rent from Uhaul again because this was our second experience of not getting what we wanted. Last May we couldn’t get the covered trailer we reserved and had to pay for a big truck at a much higher cost to rent and for gas. Ridiculous!
Jeff GFaced with a major rain storm on Sunday and the drive up a mountain to return the truck, I tried to return the truck a day early on Saturday. The Angwin location is closed on Saturday and the website did not list a "24 hour drop off" option. I called the Angwin location, and the answering machine did not mention 24-hour drop off. I called Uhaul, and the local dispatcher said that I could not drop off the truck at another location (Calistoga, CA) because I would be inconveniencing another renter and would be charged $50 to $100. So I had a friend drive with me up on the mountain on Saturday to leave the truck in the parking lot knowing that in a major storm, I would prefer to drive my car, not the truck. The next morning, despite heavy rains, pond-size puddles on the road, falling rocks, and traffic advisories, I headed up the mountain again. The location was now open and I discovered that there was a 24-hour drop off box hidden behind a post. This is communication at its worst. Why not list the 24-hour drop-off option on the website? Why not include some obvious signage showing the drop off site? Why not accommodate a customer trying to avoid treacherous driving conditions? Get it together, Angwin!

Heather OAc didn't work and had poor customer service at drop off location. They offered a 25 dollar gift certificate, that is not satisfactory. We drove 5 hours in 100 degree heat with a child and no AC!
James LDon't send so many emails/calls about submitting driver's license photos. Some folks prefer not to have that information flying around the internet.

Irvent RHoribble experience took three days to return truck that was dropped off same day. This location has not informed uhaul that they are an after hours drop off location. Manager on 1800 number was less help then two other uhaul agents i spoke with after. Manager of this location voicmail full. Agent at this location was left alone without first being trained on uhaul. Milage and gas wrong which leads me to believe no one checks to verify. Also blankets leftvin back of truck with no locks and they had purple paint on them. It was Dry but makes me wonder if they even knew it ws there. Charges are higher than the rental two weeks prior, so i believe that had somethung to do with wrong mileage. I have dealt with this issue for three days through the holiday also. I feel i should not be charge at all. This was a big nightmare.
