TAMARA IVYI had to leave my vehicle in an unlit muddy area. The trucks were parked in the same area. In the grass and dirt. When I returned my vehicle, there were no lights whatsoever. I was having to use my cell phone, flashlight with one hand and trying to work the locks and take pictures with another. I had to prop my cell phone up in order to put the lock in the truck. My pictures were not very clear due to it being dark and no lighting. I also did not get the dolly I had rented since they switched bites on me.

Rusty Lincolnits not the location i have an issue with, its the policy on no out of state licenses on vans/ pickup trucks, had me taxi all the way there with no information whatsoever that i needed an instate license to rent one
shaheer tariqThe Truck was out of gas at time of pick up. The check engine light was already on. None of the dollys I reserved were provided. I told the leasing agent this information before leaving the lot. I had to put gas in the truck within a few miles to avoid running out of gas. With in less than 10 miles the truck broke down, the transmission shift lever broke. U-Haul did send someone to help and U-Haul did refund my rental fee....all but the gas I had to pay for just to get on the road. I'm thankful for the refund, but the rest of the experience was poor.
Ron HesterThe lady Sheri at the Kingwood location that arranged to pick up was very rude and did not listen to my needs and request.. I specifically asked for a open trailer and was given a box trailer. When tried to speak to a manager she hung up in my face. She was very argumentative and rude.

John LitwinowiczThis was a really horrible experience that made decided to go with Penske or Enterprise next time I need a truck. The place is a car dealership and during my transaction 2 people showed up to inquire about a car. I immediately became irrelevant as he rushed to finish my transaction and power walked me to the van. There, he made sure I didn't hit any cars going out and that was it. He didn't explaine anything further and he went back inside. When I got home I saw that a had a text with steps I had to do before leaving. Then it hit me, he didn't even tell me how to return the van. It was due back at 11pm. I called the place twice, no one answered. They called me back and I asked how do I return the van. The girl who called me back did not know and said she would find out and call me back. She never did and they didn't answered their phone again. I drove to the facility figured out the return process and at the end, I could not find the drop box. I went around their gate several times looking for the drop box. I finally called customer service, waited 25 minutes for them to answer the phone, only for them to tell me this facility does not have a box and they don't do overnight returns. Wait! What!? So my question was why would they give me an 11pm return by time. When I spoke to the facility the next day, he said they do have a box, and it was my responsibility to find it. I wonder if they were trying to trick me into keeping the vehicle longer so they could charge me more. It was not I'm my plan to deal with a return the next day, plus be charged for the extra mileage of going back and forth. The solution was for me to leave the van there and bring the key back the next day. Here's why I'm done with Uhaul... they blamed for the whole thing, and I got no support from customer service after the guy at the facility threatened me. Not to mention, it's a 20-30 minutes wait on the phone to talk to someone, only for them to tell you they will notate the account. So after they failed to provide proper instructions, they wanted miss work & me to stop every thing I had planned for the next day to accommodate their screw up. Those 2 idiots at the facility could not understand how this was their fault and not mine. Instead of an apology for their failure, they were very angry, yes, very angry with me for them missing out on renting that vehicle again. According yo them, it's my fault that I didn't figure out where to leave the key, and because I didn't stop my other commitments to bring them the key first thing in the morning. I've always rented from Uhaul, and I've never experienced such disgraceful service as this.

Rohn FenityI have rented several types of trailers and trucks throughout the years. This trailer has to be the worst one I have rented. It appeared clean and looked to be in good repair as no damage was visible. It generated a strong vibration transferred to the truck all the time. It did not matter if it was loaded or empty. Around town would be alright maybe. Ten hour trip was a brutal experience.

JONATHAN GRAYReserved a car transport trailer. Trailer is located in a used auto sales lot. Reservation was for 4:15 and I had to wait outside the gate for about 45 minutes because the lot was using the trailer to transport in a used car for their lot. I thought it was very unprofessional for them to be using the uhaul trailer for personal use when it was suppose to be available at a certain time.
