Very upset because the U-Haul truck had 2 flat tire in the front so the day that was rented was a waste of a day. Put my move way behind. Called in and U-Haul called someone to fix it but it took about 10 hours but not U-Haul fault. But they should make sure that they update there tires. The location where I picked it up they were very helpful and nice.

The dealer gave me keys Expecting Me to move a 24 foot truck parked at the gate opening The dealer stored the moving brackets outside under a Eve. Six were very wet and unusable A second renter had to navigate their truck around the same 24 foot truck Fuel sales took priority over UHaul customers

do not sent customers to the wrong U-Haul company after an on line booking. After that do not give Your customer a car Dollie with broken light and no brakes ....... keep up your maintenance !!!!!! the company where we picked up ( a gas station ) was not very helpful, there was only one employee and she was looking after the paperwork and the gas station.... even to get into the yard you have to clear a big cemented block so there you scrape the bothem of your truck,.......... not a happy customer after that damage!!!!! Sorry........very disappointed........ Andre'

The truck I reserved wasnt available, then when I came back the guy wouldnt 3ven cone out to check th Mike's driven, he made me go back outside to take a photo of the odometer. Then he said I was supposed to fill the tank back to half, which is fine, but there was no way if knowing how much to put in to get back to half. he told me to put in 37 liters 2hich ended up more than half a tank at which point I said to reimburse me what I put over. He then proceeded to talk about the contract and due to time constraints I said whatever it was fine. However he should have known how to do this to begin with. Very poor service.

There is only one attendant on duty who has to balance running the gas station, shop and the U-Haul facility simultaneously. I know how to connect a trailer so I was able to help myself but this would not have been good if I had not rented one of these before. A few of the trailer sidemarker lights were not working.

Was the worst experience ever! If your going to charge people a stupid deposit for debit or cash make sure your telling people that and include it online when people are pricing out how much a uhaul is I’m never renting a uhaul again because of how terrible it was

The counter of the gas station had brass knuckles and batons splayed across the counter for sale. Super not inviting. The employee was looking at this phone the entire time I was trying to speak to him. I explained how I was returning a U-Haul and I was just waiting for my significant other to finish filling it up so that I could take a picture of the fuel gauge. I proceeded to hand him the paper for my deposit refund. He was still looking at his phone, and he was also not acknowledging anything I said. I eventually said "so.... Like, do you need this right now?" And he looks up and goes "no, wait for the gas." So I went back outside because it was almost done filling up. I took a photo of the mileage and fuel gauge and went back in. Dude was still on his phone. So I'm standing there at the counter, and he's looking at his phone and says "picture" so I hand him my phone. He puts his phone on the counter and to my surprise, he's on the uhaul app getting ready to set up my vehicle return, which was great, but somewhere in the past five minutes he should have said something like okay I'm pulling up the app, so at least I would know why he was giving me zero face time and acknowledgment. After that it was fine, I had it returned and it was all good. I may note though, the employee didn't check the vehicle for damage, didn't check to see if it was clean or swept out or anything. I of course did not cause any damage and did clean and sweep it out, but what if I was someone who did not? Anyways. That's all. Awful service.

The new self check-out was a nightmare. Again, when you don't have a phone set up to do all the things that this new system requires, it sucks. Fortunately, the human person at this location took over and got me through this process. If not for her, this would have been a very negative review and customer loss.

Trucks gas was empty when I picked it up. Shouldn't be up to the customer to have to fill the truck before and after use. Cusutomer should only have to fill up on drop off not pick up. Then not argue with me about how much gas was in it when picked up when clearly said 1/16 not 1/8 either way was bull crap I had to put gas in twice then I'm told on drop off I had to put a 1/4 of gas in the truck and get reimbursed? Why on earth would i put more gas then I recieved. Maybe if these companys did there jobs even a little this wouldn't be a problem. Heaven forbid they would fill up the truck so there no guess involved considering the extreme lack of judgment or care giving by these owners. Hence the no gas, filthy truck and lack of eye sight or customer service skills dealing with the gas situation. Let's not forget the calling me a day before moving and reserved a truck, telling me there isn't a truck available. One last thing the truck was filthy back and front when I picked it up. Put it this way if I came to your house and packed everything in nice boxes would you want me to drag it thru rocks, dirt , and sticky stuff? Yup that's about how I fell.

My drop off location was Matsqui Rd location and when we arrived the lady told me she had no place for me to drop my trailer off, I was very upset with this, she proceeded to tell me to drive to a different location and drop it off there, even if no one was there, This is not an acceptable customer service practice and both these options cost me money.

Truck not fuelled. I wanted a truck from Yarrow because of time commitments. Was told that the Huntington site was the only one with the size of truck I needed. In going to pick pick up the truck, I passed by the Yarrow site that had two trucks sitting there for two days. Why was I not contacted that one of them was available as I had asked for. This caused me lost time and money.

what i did not like was i was told i could pick it up from mt leamond exit off hi way1.i reserved the day before. they could not get me any trailers that would work. i did arrive 10 min early. so i went and had a cigarette. they said i could get a 6X12 open top from Huntington. i said fine went to Huntington they said open top was reserved but they had a 6x12 closed. i said thats what im looking for so i took it. got my gob done and returned to where i got it. in shorter time than i thought. thankyou guys and girls at huntingdon

I would not recommend Uhaul to anyone. The experience I had was unforgettable! Due to circumstances beyond my control, I rented a 10' truck in Abbotsford from Cruickshank Ave. I was told I could pick it up anytime before 5pm. As I was driving there, I got a phone call telling me 'oops, we don't have on available. But if you wait until 6:30 you can pick one up on Matsqui Place.' All my belongings were sitting on the front lawn by this time. The other option was to drive to Hope and pick up at 5pm. Why would I drive there? It's over an hour away? I point blank asked, 'you will guarantee the truck will be there at 6:30?' I was told YES, I GUARANTEE IT. So we sat on the front lawn for 2 hours waiting to pick up the truck. At 6:15 I was on my way to Matsqui Place to get the truck that was guaranteed to be there. Thirty seconds from that office, I received another phone call. "Oops, the guy who had the truck didn't return it. Oh, and we will be charging him for an extra day." I really don't care! I have waited over 2 hours on a front lawn and now I have no truck. So I'm transferred to Head Office. I'm given a 15' truck at no extra charge but you have to pick it up on Huntingdon. That is clear on the other side of Abbotsford. I have moving since 6am and to say I wasn't in a good mood would be an understatement. Oh yippee, you're not going to charge me extra? By this time the number of times I've been screwed around I should have had the truck for half price! We didn't finish loading until 9pm. This was an awful experience with people who really didn't give a damn.

The U haul customer service foreign woman screwed up my truck drop off from cobble hill to salt spring island. Wtf? The awesome manager at the cobble hill drop off was fantastic and he even helped clear up the wrong drop off mistake from previous customer service lady

There was no customer service had to open gate to yard, hook up trailer myself, then he came out and looked at it. On return had to open up gate unhook trailer, go out close gate and asked the gentleman to come inspect unit, he said no problem meaning he did not want to. He was friendly but no customer service.

The guy at the uhaul store at Huntingdon was terrible. He was rude to us and had zero manners. He ignored us when we asked questions, very strange and lacked kindness. We have rented here multiple times in the past but will never be back. We will rent from out of town before we see this guy again.

1. Location was easy to find. There was no help to back up the trailer. I disconnected and left it in a safe location. I was charged 11.15 for what? Does the Bill say I owe nothing? Yet there is a charge of11:15 from the Huntingdon Location Abbotsford??

The only issue I had was being improperly charged for fuel. I'm sure it was an honest mistake... I should have read the contract more thoroughly and rectified the fact that the contract said the truck was dispatched at 15/16's, when in reality the fuel level was 3/4's. Aside from that, it was great!

Trailer was in excellent condition but not clean when I picked it up. Poor layout of your storage area. Reconfigure layout of your storage area so long trailers are easier to access and return.

The location itself was fine, but was almost an hour from my requested pick up location. This is not the fault of this location, but a major flaw on the part of U-Haul. The pick up and drop of system is extremely flawed. When I requested a place and time for pick-up I requested something convenient for me, and based my moving plans around that. I found out the day before that both the location and time had changed (by more than 10 hours). Thankfully the time could be adjusted, however taking two hours to go pick up the truck in a large center such as the lower main land should not be required and was very inconvenient. The man that was working was the only person there and was doing his best, but was trying to do many things at once. The blankets I requested were thrown on the ground (outside of a bag) and we were not given the amount of them we requested.

It was just a hard location to find, and while the guy was trying to be helpful it was a little intimidating. I did not realize that it was a place that weapons were sold. hunting knives, taser batons, and not sure what else had me nervous

Personnel was friendly and helpful. The uHaul location is at a very old gas station and so not the most inviting place but everything was taken care of once it was confirmed that we could actually leave the truck at this location.

The service upon arrival at this location was very good, however when shown the unit, I was abandoned. The unit was parked in a very difficult spot to manuver out of alone and it took a great deal of time, in and out of the the truck to physically check clearances. Frustrating.

Company, charged me extra on top of a prepaid contract, Drop off agent called the company and the rep refused to speak to me on the phone. I will be recommending that people use Budget or some other rental agency.

I had couple of issues during the drop off process. As per my uhaul equipment contract, my drop off location was at 2140 Martens Road Abbotsford,(Valley Market) I went there drop off the truck at 6 pm. The way they behaved to me as a customer was so rude. He is around 45-50 years old( May be an Asian Guy) and first he speak in a language that I could not understand. I told him I don’t know which language you are speaking and I told him I know English only. Then he spoke English and he asked me very harshly “Why I bring the truck to his store ?” I showed him the paperwork of the contract I had with me, clearly says the drop of location is at 2140 Martens Road. He then told me Uhaul had changed my drop off location to Esso Gas Station Huntington Rd Abbotsford. I replied him I didn’t got any confirmation or updates from uhaul regarding the drop off location. He asked me to check my email and messages, I checked and nothing was there. I said to him as per my agreement I have my right to drop the truck on your location, then he became more aggressive and said he don’t have the space to park the truck( but actually there was lots of space available on his parking space). He pretended to try to call somebody regarding the drop off and totally wasted my valuable time. This took almost 1 hour and I had to go for work at 7pm. I became totally frustrated and called my employer and requested for a leave. Then that guy asked me to take the truck from his parking lot and leave from there. I just moved from Vancouver to Abbotsford today and my first day in the new place was totally disappointed. Finally I dropped the truck at Hunnigton Road around 7:30 pm. What kind of a customer service is this ? If there is a location change why uhaul didn’t update me ? Why are you keeping employees like him at valley market location Abbotsford?? You guys totally wasted my time, energy and money( took leave from my work). I am really upset and thinking no to book uhaul in future. Thanks

YOU SHOULD NOT LET YOUR TRUCK BE RENTED OUT AT HUNTINGDON LOCATION 32375 ABBOTSFORD . THE PERSON LOOKS AFTER THE RENTING OF THE TRUCKS DOSE NOT EVEN HAVE A DRIVERS LIC. I HAD TO BACK OUT WAS BEHIND OUR TRUCK THEN TO MOVE MY TRUCK OUT OF THE BACK LOT WAS A 7 POINT TURN TO GET THE TRUCK OUT, THE PERSON DID NOT DO A WALK AROUND THE TO SEE IF ANY DAMAGE WITH US , DID NOT CHECK TO SEE HOW MUCH GAS WAS IN THE TANK. ANY ONE THAT RENTS A TRUCK FROM THERE IS A FOOL. PLUS I TOLD THEM WHEN I RETURN THE TRUCK THAT IT MUST BE TACKEN OFF THE ROAD BREAK MASTER CEL NEEDS TO REPLACE THEY TOLD ME TO HEAD OFFICE THAT THEY RENTS TRUCKS I WHANT A 100 % REFUND FOR APRIL 20 / 2019
