Trailer was filthy inside and out. Trailer light went out on my trip and I had to replace it with out compensation. I washed the trailer before it was returned (looked to be the cleanest it's been in awhile). Was quoted 80$ with insurance for 3 days starting at 7pm on the friday. Paid 140 and got calls from the corporation at 3pm on Monday asking where the trailer was which I found quite rude. The only upside was the very polite and welcoming employ at the front counter. She did an amazing job.

Went to drop of trailer as per my contract. Found out it was wrong and they didn't accept the trailer. Made me drive across town . 2nd location tried to make me pay my $60 deposit again. Had very little knowledge of what was going on. Made me phone in and figure it out for my self. Was a Hassel and frustrating. When I tried to explain to customer service, they choose to ignore me and put me on hold countless time. Just gave up. Will never rent from U-Haul again or recommend too anyone.

this started out very well with the staff at Mission,BC> It fell apart on the Thursday (2 days before we were to pick up the truck) when "traffic" advised me that the unit I ordered would not be ready until 10 am on the Saturday, and at a Hintingdon address is Abbotsford. Darn near in the state os Washington. It was 2 hr.s late in arriving at the Esso station with a trailer and a car on the trailer. The people returning the unit would not drive it onto the lot and no one at the station could seem to drive it. Finally my son took charge and brought the unit onto the lot. It had been cleaned (swept) but the cab floor was littered with potato chips etc. When I asked the staff to vacuum it out they said they did not have a vacuum. So we took it as it was. It had only a quarter tank of fuel left so we had to fill it ourselves. The staff at the Esso were virtually useless, and could barely speak English, the language of this land. Very difficult to deal with. We had planned on loading that same morning and leaving that afternoon, but it was too late by the time we got to our residence, so this cost us a night in hotel in Mission and leaving the next morning. To meet our commitments we had to drive straight through to Okotoks the same day, and unload the next morning with people waiting for us. The return depot(?) had no one in attendance to confirm the truck's condition, just a key drop. So far it appears no uncalled for charges have been added to my bill. Originally when the unit was late at Abbotsford, Uhaul traffic had located another 20" truck, in Chilliwack 45 mins. away from where we were waiting. And it too was not ready. All in all, not a good experience. GC

He cheated me out of $ 50 by charging me for insurance that I declined. The truck is having transmission issues and does not up shift properly causing it to use a lot more fuel than it should.

Pick-up location was slow - fellow wasn't too sure of procedures. Maybe a new employee, maybe a diversity issue. Pre-booking was first class although communication between pre-booking, confirmation and pick-up was somewhat lacking. I would recommend although with a caution to ensure communication between all parties from confirmation and pick-up is consistent.

Check the rental and assist with any issues before the rental leaves the lot. Make sure that all safety parts are where they are supposed to be. Make sure the 'temporary license platemade of paper is not falling off....

We were very disappointed to pick up a 26 foot moving truck that was completely empty of gas and to be told that we should fill it up with whatever gas we need. I have never had this experience with u-haul before. I have always thought that vehicles had full gas tanks and you refill them with whatever gas you have used during your use of the vehicle.

When we got to Abbotsford we finished unpacking the Uhaul in our new apartment but the apartment didn't have a place to park our Uhaul until the return date and time. So my wife phoned our dropoff location and was told it was closed, so she phoned the 1-800 number for Uhaul and asked if she could return the truck earlier to another location, she was told yes she could drop it off at any location and she was given the address of the location in Hazelwood which is near our new apartment. So we left for that location, as soon as we got there the gates were down and no one was in the office, my wife had to wait for someone to come to the office and let her in so she could get us dropped off. At this time I had to wait in the truck blocking up traffic. Once inside she talked to a woman who told us "you can't drop off your truck here it's too big, this is a storage location only". My wife then asked her to call another store and have our info sent over for easy drop off as that is what we were told. The woman then called the Matsqui location and told us we could go drop it off there. At that point she told us whoever she spoke to said we were supposed to have dropped our truck off on the 30th at 230pm and was deemed a late return, which wasn't the case because we had it booked until the 2nd of Sept. By then my wife was extremely angry and upset and we then had to travel across a city we don't know to the next location in hopes of dropping the rentals off. Once at the Matsqui location again we were blocking traffic as the gates were down and there was no where to pack the truck, we then again waited inside for over an hour, maybe even longer. With one person working the desk, her name was Diana, and about 6 customers ahead of us. We waited and waited until our turn, when my wife sat down and ask the lady if she could just return the truck and dolly she was then told again...that no she couldn't. That's when my wife broke down into tears and had a meltdown. Diana tried everything she could to have our truck returned but couldn't take it because apparently we weren't even in the system. We just didn't exist. So after hours and hours of no no no, we were left with the truck and dolly and no answers as what to do. Diana then told us our drop off location, the Huntington, was just a gas station anyways and we could just go and drop it off and leave the key in some magical box outside the location. So anything could happen to the truck and no one would know, and we would be held responsible for it? I think not, that is a stupid idea. But in the end we had no choice but to go to that location anyways. Because Diana just couldn't take our rentals. Once at Huntington we had no idea where to park the truck, couldn't find the drop off box, nothing. It was a gas station with some men working on the store front. A few man came out to ask us if we were dropping off our rentals and we thought "oh no here we go again, the answer is no, go to the next place." The man

The personnel at this location do not know what they are doing. It took more than an hour to finalize our booking confirmation because the person handling the reservation did not know how to input data into their business computer. This is an awful location. I will not recommend this location to anyone.

Proper reservations & easy pick up of trailer are required Staff need to be trained in proper customer service. Trailer would not have been rented if area rep had not been at site
