The drop off location had not paid their dues to UHaul according to the staff at the desk. Therefore, they were unable to login to process the return. Frustrated, they turned to me while on the phone with UHaul and said "you can go!" That didn't give me confidence that the transaction would be complete and settled.Greg P.

They serve their oil change customers first. We had to wait for the person to work on our rental paper work and he kept us waiting while he switch back and forth to handle oil change customers. There is no first come first served at this location and it appear their oil change business is their number one priority. My basic one day $29.95 truck rental results a total of $121.48 solely for the truck. This is good info to share with my community to be aware of Uhaul rental charges. Also, Uhaul plays the half-gas-tank trick and scam so customers overfill the tank upon returning the truck. Why don't you provide a full gas tank?Minh N.

So, I did have it scheduled for pick up at 1pm on august 17th, and drop off at other location in Austin by 12pm august 18th. After using the truck we decided to just return it back to the same location so we can get the in town rate( 19.99 plus 75 cents per mile) instead of the ridiculous 144 dollars that we are supposed to pay because we are dropping it off at other location. We drove maybe about 30 miles, so that was going to be definitely big of a saving. We called the U haul, and found the scheduling person for Austin area, and the lady confirmed that we can drop it off back to where we picked up. And she said the in town rate will be applied when we go there . When we get there, this gentleman says we are already charged with 144 dollars, and he charged us for the extra miles, I'm like what extra miles? we are doing in town thing so the rate should be 19.99 plus 75 cents per mile, we spoke to the u haul person and everything. He refused to make any amends, so I called the u haul on the spot, and have him talk to the lady, and she even spoke to him, but he still won't try do the things right way. So I got the phone back and the lady said she will make a ticket for this, and we will receive a refund basically. So that is great, but I still don't understand why we have to go through all this when this could have been easily handled on the spot. The gentleman was friendly and everything, but it was just not a good experience. Would recommend another U haul pick up and drop off location off of highway 130.Sang P.

When I arrived, I was told that my booked 15 foot Uhaul was not available. The person at the Pick UP Location said, I can't do anything for you. Call UHaul, we only do pickup and delivery by the computer. I called Uhaul and they wanted me to drive miles away to pick up the vehicle to another Town. I had relatives coming from multiple Texas cities that drove hours waiting for this Rental to arrive so that we could move furniture due to a death in the family! This was a horrible experience and Uhaul helped in no way. I had to get a 26 footer, which was oversized and cost me also in Gas.JAMES W.

My issue was with uHaul. I did not request to drive so far out of my way to pick up or drop off the truck. That experience cost me over $50 to call a Lyft just to get to and from my original location. Those last minute changes were very inconsiderate. For that reason I will not recommend uhaul and not use them in the future.TAVA B.

I only issue with this experience was that nobody gave me the option on the safe move insurance, they just put it on my rental without telling me. The guy who helped me with my check-in didn't mention it at all, neither did the woman that helped me make the reservation on the phone. Then when the guy at the check-in counter had issues repeatedly getting paperwork processed, I didn't bother to look at the paperwork because nobody asked or brought it to my attention, just asked me to sign.JENNIFER S.

Make sure operating items on the truck was working. The trailer plug for the truck did not work and was noted/shown at drop off location. inside of truck was not clean, window shield was dirty had a hard time cleaning to be able to see for driving. Last during paperwork process we should of been informed of the word lock on the main back door of truck of word code for getting door openDAVID T.

We received the vehicle with the low-tire pressure on when picked up after hours. We had to place air in the tire twice. Maintenance was called but we aired the tires since the air pump was at the location. We should not have had to put air in tires. I'm not sure COVID cleaning occurred.RODNEY J.

The lady who was running the desk had no idea what she was doing, didn't know where the equipment was, couldn't find haft of it and then told me misleading information about the contract. Told me that i had 140 miles and 2 days, when I only had 1 day and 100 miles. she told me this after I told her I was having movers come in the afternoon the next day. then i was charged an extra 60 dollars because i took her word for it. Truck had no windshield washer fluid and the next morning when I went to fill it up I was pouring fluid I and was coming out the bottom of the tank. I found the hose was disconnected from the tank and then I observed that there was oil all over the engine and the hood. I then found that the oil fill cap was missing. When I picked up the truck no one walked out with me to go over the truck and when I went back inside to talk with the manager he was gone and the other three employees said they couldn't help me because the manager had to help me. There was a lock on the truck that no one mentioned and by the time we got the truck back to the moving site, we noticed the lock and couldn't get it off. After calling and still not being able to get it off, we had to go back up there. Then after the 3rd trip there, our car didn't fit on the towing trailer so we didn't take it. I am still fighting for the refund for that and getting text messages that we never returned it because they didn't take it off our order. Still fighting to not pay the extra return days on the trailer we didn't take. Horrible experience.Joshua C.

I went to this location to rent a car hauler. I was told the only way I could rent a uhaul was to go online and make a reservation because they didn't know how to initiate a reservation in the store. I returned to me vehicle and made an online reservation. I returned to the store and was given my paperwork and a sticky note with the trailer number I was supposed to get. I was left on my own to hook up and check the trailer out. When I returned the trailer a few hours later I was told to just put it back where I picked it up from and was again not offered any assistance with parking or unhooking the trailer. Luckily I am very experienced with hooking up to and pulling trailers. Had this not been the case I would have been left to fend for myself. This was a terrible example of customer service and I will likely never return to this location again for any of their offered services!John W.

I dropped the rental trailer off on a Sunday Evening and it took them two business days before they checked it in so I was charged for an additional two rental periods. I don't think there is anyone checking the rentals daily.austin H.
I had a guaranteed rental for a 10' truck. When I arrived, I attempted to use the app to secure the vehicle. After a lengthy process, I was told to pick up the key in the office. Once there, they told me that I would have to wait to be served until they performed an oil change. I was surprised that there wasn't an employee to work the desk. Once they were ready, they told me that the 10' truck had a flat tire, but they would give me a 15' truck. I wasn't looking for a truck that size since I was only moving a single piece of furniture. I accepted and waited for the transfer process. The manager gave me a key and I went out to the lot. The truck was not on the lot. There wasn't an explanation for this, but another truck was assigned after another wait. Instead of apologizing, I was told to make sure that I folded the furniture pads when finished. There were so many bugs and so much dirt on the windshield that I could hardly see out. Once finished, I decided to bring the truck back the same day since I did not want to park a 15' truck in my driveway. I returned and parked in the back lot, out of the way, where another customer had parked their truck earlier in the day. An employee yelled at me to park it in the grass with the rest of the trucks. Once I arrived at the office, the manager was charging a battery and told me to put the key in the drop box. They didn't have time to check it in and it would get done the next day. The location made it seem like I was inconveniencing them by being a patron. I didn't get the truck I was guaranteed, and the whole process took close to an hour when it should have taken 15 minutes. I don't usually rent with U-Haul, and I will be sure to rent with another company next time. The only positive things that I can say are that I got a truck, and they didn't rip me off checking it in the next day.Anthony T.

They were training when I was there I was in a hurry. So it took twice as long which was frustrating. I hooked the trailer up myself and had to fix one of the tie straps which took over 20 minutes. Again, I was in a hurry.ROBERT P.
