CHI WIt’s extremely expensive and misleading. The cars say $20 but doesn’t mention the $1.50 per mile and other random taxes and fees making it very expensive to use even for just an hour.

ENOCH SAs Usual Service was EXCELLENT! My brother took care of me with prompt courteous service and I was out the door! the van didn't smell like cigarettes and I was able to get a BETTER parking spot to load and unload "The Hotness"!!! :) Was able to do my event in which I SLAYED on Sat, brought the truck back to the house, unloaded the van and brought it back without a scratch (Like I'm SUPPOSED TO!). Another Successful weekend! :)

CARMEL TThe customer service was awesome. It was a very quick and efficient process. But the truck I was rented was in bad shape. The cigarette smell in there was awful! And the vehicle had transmission problems and I suspect the gas milage was way down. It still got the job done but just needs some maintenence. The cigarette smell was absolutely disgusting.

ROBIN JThis was by far the WORSE rental had to date BUT this doesn't reflect on this spot overall. It was a last min replacement that happened because for some reason my reservation that was done MONTHS ago disappeared; I call the spot of 3 days before and thats all they had (More on that later). that box truck isn't made for people over 6 ft tall. I scraped my knee pretty bad getting out of that truck! That bad boy was also a true gas hog; the mileage was TERRIBLE. Now although it was fresh out the shop there was either a loud hissing, a belt about to go bad OR a bad hose with a leak; That should get checked out ASAP. "J" who took care of me from the frantic call to me picking up the truck was top notch; He made sure that I had EXCELLENT customer service! :) Now on to the vans. The powers that be some REALLY work on taking care of their customer service reps but adding something to there reservations that will automatically flag problem customers so that they can't rent ANYTHING in the first place! This is how you protect your reps from dealing with these folks who will take and destroy your vans/trucks or take them out of state stealing them as a result. the same way that you have to take pics when you check in have them do that when the make the reservation! Make it a two pronged approach where you can take there pictures and store them in a secure area along with their drivers license. In this way new software code can automatically let the reps know who is trying to make reservations and they can flag the system to also deny them if they try to slip a fake ID for a rental. These are some simple solutions that can save your company MILLIONS.

JOHN MSo The Evanston Farmers Market is now over and I am one of the MAIN attractions; I couldn't have made it without the help of the ENTIRE Staff at THIS U-Haul location. Sandy Will ALWAYS BE a SUPERSTAR in my eyes But others made sure i was taken care of OR greeted with a kind word WHENEVER I came there. I have MANY issues that were taken care of "on the fly" and I know for a fact if I went to ANY OTHER location I will be "going to hell in a handbasket" missing out on profit and opportunity So THANK YOU ALL VERY MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT!!! :)

MARY DOnce again my local U-Haul folks came thru in the clutch. I had to make a small change to my reservation then ALL of the sudden I got a message say that I would get a call from a U-haul rep in the A.M. Of course I responded "Whathebloodclot" is this call for??? The next morning the rep called me saying that they will have to modify my reservation. I said NO that will not work for me and I will contact MY U-haul rep in a few hours. She said ok AND STILL MADE THE CHANGES ANYWAY! I contacted Sandy and she was just as shocked as I was! She made the correct changes and held down my reservation and because of that the event I attended was a success in which they want me make for the event next year; NOW THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE! Bong BONG! :)
JOHN MI wish you all would have signs or notifications or a policy that you must make a reservation first, make it so that you can't just Walk in and think you can rent a truck.

GERALD DI wasn't told I need to add gas to the tank and literally drove it 4 miles total and was charged $1.50 per mile, which I was informed of so that was no issue, but then + $13.50 fee for not adding gas. What a rip off. Not to mention like $15 in other fees that were not mentioned. I wasn't sent these terms until after I left the location with the truck. This should have been mentioned when I checked in for the rental on site.

Andrew MI'm ALWAYS blown away by the customer service at THIS Location. Sandy is ALWAYS courteous to me as well as the other people who has helped me out. My van was in excellent shape, had gas and I was ready to roll! :) I was especially surprised because one of the other reps came in discussing a customer; He STILL provided her with great service and as he was walking back outside to finished assisting her he said "Hello Mr. Michaels". Of course I answered him back as he was leaving but that simple action meant alot to me. They have a very good thing going on over there. I hope it gets better and better with each passing day! :)

SABRINA CEnjoyed the new NEW hotness alot! My only issue is the folks bringing the truck back before me then u have to fill it up at times.im going to the aurora farmers market in Weds. I hope they folk put so gas into this time!! Lol!
John MThe Only reason I put no was because it smelled like a person was a HEAVY chain smoker and they ONLY has a short amount to time to clean that up and that's HARD to do; TRUST me on that BUT That's Not a knock on them! I still was able to get where I had to go with the "NEW HOTNESS!!!" :) This was a 4 day use with the high humidity on 2 of those days and I was thankful to have AC!! :)
John MWHENEVER I have a large event and I need a van for a few days Sandy always makes sure that I get the "New Hotness"!!! I tell you when I pull up and other u-haul renters have the "Old beater" They look at me with so much ENVY!!! LOL! OH WELL! The van was perfect and worked without a flaw. Clean and well lit I was able to take care of everything and THEN SOME! OUTSTANDING JOB! :)

John MI was charged a cleaning fee for WHAT? I took many photos and videos uppon my return to prove the truck was as given to me. There was NOTHING to be clean. I retruned the truck in the same condition I got it. I refuse this small uhaul franchise extort more funs for me because they don't have many trucks to rent.
