Johnsongreatson UOverall, a poor experience. U-Haul has removed the people from its operations and you can tell. Most check in is done online, which is difficult on their website or works slightly better on their buggy app. I had issues that needed a resolution and I sat on hold for 40 minutes without reaching a representative. I finally got the app chat to work and the team member was able to sort me out. It was a lot of stress for what should have been a relatively easy single day truck rental. Overall, the “conscience” of online check in and check out is a stupid way of cutting corners and saving money. Employee more people. When possible I will avoid U-haul and suggest alternatives to friends.
Riley LWhen we were picking up the equipment, the person working there asked what we were moving and suggested getting a different dolly instead of the one I had originally booked as that would be more useful for the stuff we needed to transport. This was helpful.
