The mobile app does not work well. There are too many steps to get to the finish line. Check in is tedious, and check is confusing. I will not rent a truck at a site that is not open or has office staff to help with the process. I do appreciate the retailer for finishing the check out process for me. At least they we honest and did not over charge me.

MICHAEL KEquipment had pre-existing minor damage that was listed as having occurred during our rental. Spoke with the representative at the originating point and they verified that. Very helpful and friendly. Great experience on both ends!
Timothy LWhen we arrived to pick up our truck, there was no key in the lock box. After waiting on hold for 15min and still not getting thru to anyone we decided to look around a bit. Noticed the key for our truck was in the return key box. We used a stick to get it out so we could access our truck. We were on a timeline with needed to move things. I will never use U-Haul again.

Very friendly workers, and ones who really listen to their customers and gives them the things they need to meet their goal for the day. I would highly recommend them to others and do. I am never displeased with the personnel, service or the rental.

JAMES PThe 24/7 self checkout was difficult to use and buggy. I had a hold on my account which was removed as soon as I called, but the agents that were verifying my checkout kept saying it was still there and we're unable to fix anything. My reservation was an hour late trying to call uhaul and get it resolved.
Roger CDon't park your trucks behind your customers vehicles blocking them in the lot. That way when they get done moving all day they are able to get in their vehicles and go home instead of having to call an Uber to get home and another the next day to return and get there vehicle.

WARREN T1. The 15 foot truck I rented for a local move from Nov 18, 2024 to Nov 20, 2024 cost me $279.95. I only drove 46 miles, 2 day rental at $29.95, $30 for a bogus insurance charge which I was never informed of, (I thought we were asked if we wanted the insurance or if we wanted to use our own insurance) and a $134 rental of a dolly. I am in the process of disputing that charge. 2. The truck was dirty. They want us to clean these trucks before we return them but if I would have returned the truck like this I would have been charged. By the time I cleaned the dashboard the seats the floor all of it I had three dirty rags and a filthy scrub brush. 3. When I returned the truck I pulled it in, right next to his other rentals. I was never informed of where to park the truck on return. I thought I was doing a nicety for the owner, ONLY he went up to my ride and started yelling at him. He said I was an idiot because I parked on his neighbor's property. I parked it in the wrong spot. I didn't realize I made a mistake and pulled the truck to far in a joint parking lot of his neighbor's that was not marked one way or the other. There were no signs saying whose property was whose. I don't care what kind of day he had you do not call your customers an idiot.

SUANNA GRental was dropped off when business was closed and was reported to be late even though returned before due and was charged for an additional day to the tune of $55. Was finally able to resolve issue, but it took WAY too much effort on my part to finally make it happen! Checking the box above that the personnel were helpful even though that's questionable in my mind, but wouldn't let me submit the review without checking a box

TODD HUhaul beechmont has my reservation and did not have a truck when I arrived at the facility. I spent an hour on the phone and the agent would not expedite my reservation. After two hours I finally received the keys to the truck.

Harold MThe truck had trash left from previous renter. Assigned parking spaces would be helpful as determining where to drop the truck was challenging. The location to my home was convenient. I wish I had rented on a day where they were in because I was having lots of app issues. The pick up my truck should be a button on the main screen instead of under “next steps” at the very bottom of the page, it didn’t align with the instructions sent. The app crashed during my drop off and close my reservation even though I still had steps remaining. Customer service was kind and helpful.
Pamela HThe Uhaul app would not register my location correctly. It took 30 minutes to pick up the truck. Waited on hold for 15 minutes to figure out why. Needed to use the browser on my phone instead of the app.
Jenna CGet the price down. I am ready to downsize what I own to just fit in a van so I don't have to use a uhaul. Prices are crazy. But hey I got where I needed to go. I am living where I wanted. So it worked. Thanks uhaul.
Jaimie CGot charged a 25.00 cleaning fee when the truck was spotless. We cleaned it and swept it out. And I also was charged a fuel charge when I put gas in it just barely shy of the mark charged almost 50.00 75.00 total fees when everything was returned perfect

Stephanie JOnline check in and check back in is a nightmare. Took over and hr and half after we got to location. App kept freezing . Called customer service they kept disconnecting us. Then they set up a drop off location 40 miles from us. Customer service did finally straighten the mess out. Will be a long time for we go thru that a again
Herbert pQuick pick-up and drop off. The cargo van was easy to drive and more than met our needs. The only problem encountered was opening the rear cargo doors - the problem was with the operator -- we didn't read the instructions. Once we figured it out, it was easy sailing.

Diane MTruck smelled like a smoker had just finished smoking a couple of cartons of cigarettes. Uhaul customer receipt did not indicate the cost of milage overage. They site took the truck back but never called me to talk about the overage just charged my card. I will never use Uhaul again. In my next truck need Ina few weeks I will use Penske.

David HThe pick up and drop off system working with a robot, was simply terrible. It took a half hour just to verify to a robot that we were who we said we were even though someone called and got our license information the day before. this was terrible.
