How U-Haul Reviews WorkI only drove 17 miles and was charged 117 dollars. I asked multiple times if there was anything i needed to do when I dropped off truck and was told no they just go off miles and since I only went 17 miles it would be less than 70 dollars. I was never given agreement to sign or receipt to sign. I was given the truck with a 1/4 or less . Then charged extra for it being under 1/4 tank he called me after I had already left and said I needed to come back to put gas in it. I told him he never said anything about gas when I was there and he never had me sign anything. Ill be disputing the charges.
Chad BIn my contract I had the truck from Friday to Sunday. I returned the truck as advised with a 1/4 of a tank on Sunday at HyTech Auto. I was charged for an extra day (Monday) because the drop off location isn't open on Sunday. I don't feel I should've been charged for a day that the drop off location is clearly not open for business and this is just bad business and in the future I may look to another moving truck service than U-Haul
Todd LI ended up renting two separate trucks from this location for a total of 7 days. The owner was very helpful, friendly, and explained in detail everything I needed to know. The last day when I returned it was a day that we had extreme heat and I'm sure I must have looked a mess and overheated. He actually brought me a bottle of cold water to drink well I was waiting for my ride to pick me up. He went above and beyond the normal customer service. Thank you I will definitely use this location in the future and recommend it to all my friends and family. Thank you
Margaret SFriendly folks who take pride in their fleet. Timely service and prompt closing of the contract. Would definitely recommend this location if you’re in Amelia.
