HORRIBLE customer service! A sign they have promotes that if you don't have a smart phone to take photos the representative will do it for you. Well my elderly father doesn't own a smart phone. The pick up location was fine. Uhaul was disgraceful. I made a reservation for a 15ft truck and had it taken away the day before I moved 1,000 miles. Uhaul lied to me about their inventory and then magically found a 10ft truck for me, which did not fit all my belongings. They also would not provide a trailer. Very poor customer service and business model. I do not recommend Uhaul.Jennifer K.

Mobile check in didn't work. I've never had a good experience with uhaul and am going to start using Horn Depot and other options. If I am double charged because of the mobile errors, I will be asking for a full refund because of how much uhaul has wasted my time. And tell your reps to stop calling and saying we need equipment back sooner. I reserved it. Where's my $50 for trying to break my reservation when your online system already wasted 30 minutes at pickup?NICHOLAS S.

To start off. The pickup location was terrible the trailer was parked in a hole and a giant nuisance to get out. Other trailers and some random car were blocking it in. There was a trailer dolly there, but it was broken. So I had to move 2 trailers myself just to drag the one I was renting out of a hole not the way to start a moving trip. I opened it to do a pre-trip inspection. To my surprise there wasn't a functioning meth lab inside. The 5x8 trailer we rented had wiring issues. These issues led to having electrical issues with my truck. Issues that required $800+ in parts, 2 hotel stays, and enough stress to take 10 years if my life. When I reached out to U-Haul about the issues. They basically told me to fuck myself. I spent 4 hours on hold for this. Zero effort on their part to make things right. I had to drive from Denver, CO to Northern Minnesota with no trailer lights and was unable to shut my truck off. Resulting in a bunch of unnecessary fuel costs. At the end of the trip my one day turned into three and cost me over a $1,000.00. Hands down the worst experience I've had with any company. My truck is still in need of work for it to function properly again. If U-Haul valued their customers at all they would make this right.Masen J.

the service person was very very nice and helpful and the pickup was easy. so the service at Harlan Ave is A+. the truck however was a disaster. - filthy ! we sprint 20 min cleaning the inside and covered seats with plastic - once we started driving the OIL light, LOW TIRE pressure light and WASHER FLUID light came on - the right side mirror was shattered and we had no visibility to change lanes or turns U-haul - you should be embarrassed and dissatisfied with this experience.jill N.

This site took care of me but it took time to do it. They did not have the right trailer, the right electric connector and there were cars blocking the entrance. As I said, they took care of all the problems but it took longer than necessary.Robert B.

I was scheduled to pick up my auto trailer at this location. There was no one there to hook it up. The lady found someone and it took 3 hours. The straps to cover the passenger side wheel came of twice and I was told by another U-Haul employee the chain was not hooked up correctly. Your company put me in a lot of danger as well as other people on the road. I am reporting you to the BBB and anyone else I can find. The person behind the counter just took the key and didn't say much. I was then charged an extra day for the truck. I do not understand why since when I read the contract it stated I only needed to return the truck within the business hours of the location. Disappointed that I was charged an extra day.Winifred A.
The truck was dirty, inside and out. Broken glass and metal (sharp edges) and nails in the back of the bed, empty cigarette cartoon, the tie down straps were not maintained and in operable, cab smelled like smoke and was dirty. Every check engine light (for needs oil and windshield washer fluid to tire pressure) was on. All four tires had different pressures, ranging from 19 PSI to 29 PSI.Emily H.

My only issue was that when I suddenly needed a truck (and luckily they had one available and the check out was INCREDIBLY fast) I was given one that was dirty, which I don't care about but there were a pair of gloves in it and a Dolly that I didn't need because I have my own. What that tells me is that it wasn't supposed to be rented, but due to the fact that I really needed a truck quickly, they sent me out with it. No big deal as long as they didn't charge me for rental of the Dolly. I didn't ask for it and didn't need it. Overall, I have no complaints because my car broke down and I needed a vehicle to move boxes in and to get my wife and son to work, and they made sure I had one. I know I drove a lot of miles, so I'm not disputing my charges at all.Allison F.
I ordered and received a confirmation for the Colfax location. While driving there, I received a call from Uhaul with no answer. I got to the Colfax location to be told that the trailers in the lot weren't available. That's when I noticed an email that arrived while I was driving stating my location changed.Richard G.

Mileage and gas levels were incorrect in the computer verses what was actually visual on the dashboard, potentially leaving me with a much higher bill (200 mile difference and 1/4 tank of gas). Cab and cube were soiled with dry concrete debris.Bernard M.

Upon getting in the vehicle I noticed remnants of old food in the center console area. No question this trash had been drying up in this vehicle for weeks. I then went to use the coffee cup holder and noticed it was completely encrusted in dried up liquid. How could you provide a vehicle to someone with this extent of filth?Mark B.

There are too many things going on at this location, gas station, auto repair, used car lot and uhaul. Although the employees were friendly they are so busy and it took over one hour to get a trailer. After a long process to get our first trailer my husband opened it and found it was full so we had to start over to get another trailer that was empty and hooked up..Steve A.

The windshield was filthy and there was no washer fluid. There was a persistent rattle inside the truck while operating. I ordered an appliance dolly and instead received a utility dolly, which was unhelpful for moving washer/dryer. The service counter employee was not wearing a mask in violation of county originate and state mandate, and despite doing a solo drop off was forced to interact with the mask less proprietors. The only issue I could see is the lack of parking if you need to leave a vehicle. Fortunately, Nathan let me park in the space the truck I rented was in, so it wasn't an issue in this case. They were able to extend my rental by several hours with only a couple days notice. Overall I am very pleased with this location.Lynn L.
There was nobody available to help me connect the trailer and the one person at the location who" couldn't leave the cash register" wasn't wearing a face mask, licked her fingers several times while managing paperwork then handed me a pen to sign the paperwork with the very hand with the licked fingers. I did not recieve the furniture dolly I rented and I immediately let Uhaul know. I asked for that specific dolly charge to be taken off and it still was applied, even after I disputed it. No one contacted me regarding the dispute, despite being told I would be contacted within 48 hours. The charge went through immediately however. Not sure I wanna use Uhaul again.Steven H.
