We used H and G movers and they were very fast and efficient. This was in Martinsville, Indiana. The movers drove out from IndianapolisRICHARD M.
Everything went smoothly! There was one customer service member that refused to speak with me because my husband's name is on the account. Despite giving all the proof that I was working on his behalf and that I have been the sole person handling the move, this person refused to help me. I had waited 40 minutes to basically be hung up on. I never comment on customer service, but that was especially bad. Other than that instance, the people who came to pick up and drop off the boxes we're super helpful and kind. I would still highly recommend using UBoxes for anyone's small move.Kayl W.
In a pinch was great. The above questions are about the location itself not about u-haul as a company. I would never use u-haul again. They inflate their prices when you want to do a one way. You get charged for days you don't need and miles you don't use. No way it should be cheaper to bring the uhaul back to the same location instead of dropping it off where you're moving to. They advertise 39.99 a day and .70 cents a mile but that isn't the case if you drive one way. HORRIBLE COMPANYBRIAN A.

The communication between myself, U-haul and the movers was not great. I was always on hold any time I called and it took at least two people to get my questions answered. Then, our box was not on time - it was 5 days late. When I was notified that the box would not arrive on time, they shared that we would receive a refund of $50 each day that it was late. Three weeks later, I have not received any further information regarding a refund.Kelsie H.

Ben at "In a pinch rent it" was fantastic and a massive help. Other than that, literally everything else about the Uhaul/Ubox company was horrific, especially Mason at the delivery center. After my boxes were refused in Columbus and sent further away to Martinsville, Mason told me that it was my problem and that Uhaul would not deliver the boxes to me. My options given were to come tow the boxes one at a time over an hour each way to my house, or to rent a Uhaul truck and load the boxes into it. After Ben went above and beyond to help me get the delivery arranged, Mason was again rude about Uhaul promising the boxes were going to be delivered to me, said that they were going to make a special trip for me, and then charged me more than double the normal delivery fee. Of course, all of this was after days of getting the run around about where my boxes even were, the call center transferring my calls to the never ending call waiting, etc. Aside from one person, this was the worst moving and business experience of my life. I have used Uhaul numerous times throughout the years, but I will never use or recommend Uhaul again. Thank you to Ben for being the only person who actually cared about me in the slightest. I will be leaving him a very positive review, but I will be making numerous negative reviews, warning customers of the nightmare the is Ubox, and making a formal complaint to the BBB about how I was treated by Mason and charged extra for the delivery of what I was already promised as being a standard delivery in Columbia, MO. This is the second time in a year I've rented from Uhaul. And this is the second time in a year I've not been able to get the equipment I've rented. I rented a van because I don't want to rent a box truck. I don't want to pay the extra. I don't want to sweep the crap out of the back before using. I don't want to be told I can go to a different location when I have a reservation for guaranteed equipment. If I had any other choice in my area, I'd use it. Subpar experience with unapologetic explanationsâ€¦ It's a crappy way to run a business.JOSEPH S.

Called me the night my move before saying they may not have a ubox container for me and could not guarantee they would have something despite having made a reservation - caused so much stress that I had a panic attack. They did end up having a ubox for me, but the amount of stress and uncertainty this caused was enough for me to never want to use uhaul again. Also it's impossible to get through to customer service - I was on hold like 3 separate times for over an hour. No one has time for that when they are about to move.Stephanie R.

U haul needs ignition key service. A few times I did not think I would be able to turn key....moved shifter and steering wheel quite a few times and it started. This happened three times or more in one day rental. Tire pressure dash came on and off. Checked tire pressure and tires had enough air. Probably bad sensor.STEVEN L.

There was water damage on a TV and other items. We had a major problem when getting the U boxes from the destination location. The first two moving helpers you recommended or set us up with could not complete the delivery and bring the furniture into the apartment. The third one finally could do it but arrived at the U-Haul facility at 8:30 and did not get the U box until 10:30. even though we called the day before to confirm they would be ready at 8:30. How do I go about getting money back for TV and the deliver fee. Something as we ended up paying the help a little extra because of running him late and the extra work he had to do. He was actually walking around the container location to try and find our second containerRick K.

All good, was a little surprised at the gas mileage. At pickup tank was listed as full. I only drove 6 miles and it took 2.5 gallons to fill it back up.Dawn F.
