Drove 17 miles 1 way after checking in night before my truck was that there @ 8 I had to ask to have the user contacted. I called headquarters to report this nonsense, truck came 1:30 pm had to drive another 17 miles. They set me back 6 hrs delay to move. Had to move in the rain NEVER AGAIN. AWFUL.SOPHIA T.

That trucks transmission kept randomly down shifting or not shifting at all. The engine also made horrible noises. It was honestly terrifying, I felt safer when I drove trucks in Afghanistan.PETER B.

It was a problem that someone else owed money and you attach me with them causing me aggravation to try to get them off my debit card that was wrong I have rented over 50 trucks in over two years from new people and that was wrong what you did to me you should've alerted me that there was money owed from someone else and I could've straighten out the proper meanwhile I had to run around to get a new credit card just to get it taken care of that was wrong by your companyBARRYDAVID B.
i had a 10 am appointment/credit card hold on a 10 foot truck. But my requested truck was not available until 1:00. i got there around 11 ish and was told that there was a mix up with on-line booking and know truck would be available until 1 pm. I was offered a van instead, but the van was to small. so i waited in my car until 1 for a truck. According to the staff at haverstraw location, this happens all the time. I can't be sure but it looks like you cant rent on-line or walk in at this location. i even personally went there the day before to verify my appointment and they still messed it up. There is a disconnect between the on -line booking and the actual location. this caused me money and time. I had people waiting for me to do this move. Hopefully this is not a normal issue with Uhaul and would appreciate a credit for some of my rental note i did rent from them the previous week and did not have this issue, but the 20f truck need some serious stearing wheel alinement issuesDONALDL JR J.

I did explain during the reservation that I need to move the lawnmower from pointÂ A to point B about 5 miles. I said that the lawnmower is 5 feet wide and the vehicle needs to have a ramp to drive the lawnmower in. My husband went to pick up the truck and to our big disappointmentÂ ramp on the truck was too narrow. We wasted time and money.Â Also upon arrival to destination we found that back door was not closed whole way and mover inside was not securedJEANROBERTM D.

The 10 foot truck we were given had garbage and crushed moving boxes left in the back that we had to empty out and the floor was unswept which we did ourselves. We also had to sanitize the front cab for covid-19 since the pick-up location attendant could not tell us if it already had been done.kelly ann P.

I was given the wrong information on my first call, hung up on on my second call and the rep in the third call literally knew very little about the process of picking up a rental.
