Jimmy M.The guy at pick up was not helpful, lazy, and almost rude. The interior of the truck was wet by the cleaning liquids. The gas tank was NOT FULL but it was written as full. The guy at pick up emphasize that was full but it was as less as you cannot testify. ($8-$10 USD)

Arnaldo B.Unfortunately, the key to the truck I rented snapped so there was no truck for me and had to take a van. However, the agent and the agent's manager were kind enough to give me a discount for the inconvenience. I appreciated the understanding a lot. In situations like that, however, they weren't given enough power in the system to extend the duration of the rental on their end because it was after hours. They should be able to change the duration before pick-up, especially if the drop off is after hours. One last small thing, you should tell people clearly upon check-in that the counter is INSIDE the petrol station.

Michael V.To the keeper of the keys, UHAULs most valued and hard working employee. This guy takes his job so seriously that being 15 min late for pick up was a really big deal. Guy working at the gas station had a mean attitude, almost to a point that he was hesistant to give me the keys. Gave me a whole lecture about "how things are suppose to be." If I didnt really needed a van that say I would have went somewhere else. Upon return (6 hrs later), this guy continued to have the same level of customer service. Anyways im done. To the guy working at a gas station on a sunday, who also acted like he owned Uhaul. Get a life bro!
Chad P.The price per mile difference from renting in farmingdale, ny to queens, NY is almost a $1 different. So whe it says rent a 15' for the day at $29.99 it actually came out to $423 for 8 hours. NEVER using UHAUL again

I got a text that I was moved to 13th 37th Ave but then when I got there I was told that i was moved to Van Damn location in which I was not informed! I was told that someone has texted me but I did not get the until I talked to the front desk of 13th 37th Ave. Location
MA E M.The pickup location was fine but the original location I was meant to pick up at did not have the keys to my truck. The attendant at the location would not help me and told me I had to deal with it. So I had to take an Uber to another location (van dam). Not well organized.

Gem S.Uhaul truck seemed fine in the beginning on local roads but the second I drove it on the highway the right view side mirror got blown by the wind and flipped to the point that it wasn't usable. Side mirror was flimsy and unnoticeable in the beginning. Driving uhaul was like driving blind on the right side of your vehicle
Bryant P.This was not the original location I booked with. When I arrived at the location I booked with no one was available. One someone came they didn't speak english but communicated that there was an emergency and didn't fulfill my booking. The first improvement would be for uhaul to proactively alert me that my booking needed to be updated. After which I called uhaul and the options presented on the phone didn't cover my situation and theres no default speak to operator option. The second improvement would be to provide more options as well as the ability to talk with a representative. After picking an option to connect me to a representative, the automated message told me my wait time was less than 5 mins. This was a lie I waited for 13 mins which is about 260% longer than the time given. There was no indication that I had to wait longer I was constantly prompted to use the online service. I recommend improving estimations for wait times and giving a callback option. In regards to using the online service, I don't have faith that the experience would be better. The mobile webpage for uhaul looks dated and does not look mobile friendly. If the webpage is mobile friendly I'd be more inclined to use it over a phone call. Once I got through to an operator I had a seamless experiences, but the time wasted affected my schedule
Josiah W.You can refund my entire trip to make this experience less than traumatic. The front right tire had low air pressure prior to leaving the lot. Upon notification to the attendant (Jeff), he gave me a few quarters so I could pump up the tire. I almost crashed twice on the highway because of extremely low tire pressure and I had to constantly stop and find a local gas station to re-fill the tire. No one should ever have to go through a life-threatening experience and pay for it.

Bruno M.From the start the gentleman wearing a fitted hat sitting at the front desk seemed annoyed to even see a customer walk thru the door. He was full of attitude from pick up to drop off. Being in sales, i kept my composure and was nice throughout the whole time trying to give him a chance. Out of 4 vans available in the parking lot he decided to give us the oldest one with check oil sign on and that was also filthy (pictures for proof). When I went back to ask him if it was ok to switch it, he threw his phone on the desk with annoyed sigh and asked me whats wrong. I said it seems like its a bit complicated and he replied with yes its complicated to switch the vehicle and I would have to be re-registered. Upon returning the car, he said I will get an email with drop off confirmation after he inspects the car or i can wait. I said thats fine, I rather wait. He proceeded with well its gonna take 10 or more minutes. I said thats ok, considering i had zero confidence in his integrity. He proceeded to play or browse on his phone for almost 3 minutes while i waited. Everything, that was coming out of that man's mouth was with attitude.

James F.I was given the wrong vehicle. I had reserved a 9' cargo van and I was told that I was to get a 10' truck even though I received a U-Haul confirmation for a van. I took the truck anyway as I had no choice and it was my last day to move my items. Had to buy a lock for the truck which I wasn't expecting since I was supposed to get a van.
Reinaldo P.The agent we first encounter very nice When returning the van the agent Was rude didn't explain charges that came up he said I was being charged $10 for Gas I put the $11 in Gas myself so there shouldn't have been a $10 charge after all was done $100.71 was taken out my account I dont understand that at all

anthony L.Had I not called the Friday/Saturday before my scheduled move date to confirm the reservation, I would have not known that the cargo van I reserved was no longer available. The U-Haul customer service rep was very helpful and she located the van I ultimately rented at a local nearby. The location where I rented the cargo van was very good, no wait, van was ready, rental happened quickly and return was very easy. Thank you.
