Made my reservation on line -- received two different locations. The pick up location was a Dunkin Donuts, and the person who did the pick up paperwork was really confused by the entire (simple) transaction. Impossible to reach them by phone in advance. Trash left by previous driver(s) in the vehicle.

The van I rented smelled like cigarette smoke. I asked for a different van and was told this was the only one I could take. I had no choice. The employee sprayed it was some spray, and then the van smelled of chemicals the entire time.

The manager at the time was very accomodating and likeable. My only complaint is that the location is a gas station that doesn't have a visible address and the actual name (Global) is was not listed in my online rental confirmation so I was confused when I arrived at the location despite seeing the trucks on the streets. I did finally see the small Uhaul sign in the window.

My initial drop off location was Storage Fox 30-46 Northern Blvd. I had to wait there for over and hour to be able to speak to personnel instead of handling the drop off myself (24hr drop off using the app) because there was absolutely no where to park the truck. In fact it was a shared driveway where other companies keep there big industrial trucks too. The person who I spoke to at the front desk showed up 30min past the opening time that was labeled on the front door (8am Mon-Fri). He then rudely tells me I can’t leave my truck there, there’s no space for it so find somewhere else to park. I couldn’t believe any of this. He said he had called U-Haul the night before saying to close off to all drop offs and so they shouldn’t have assigned me there. U-Haul then says that online this location was still accepting drop offs. Whether it’s U-Haul’s fault or the stores’ fault or not I don’t care, I was late to work because I was put in the middle of this and instead of him just taking the damn keys so that I can be relieved of my responsibility for the truck and handling the truck himself like he’s paid to freaking do. Why make me pay for this miscommunication HE HAD WITH U-HAUL. Completely unfair. I then drive to the one on Van Dam street because this arrogant asshole was not someone that was willing to help or that cared one bit to what I’d do with the truck as long as I don’t leave it in his stupid lot, which really isn’t even a lot it was just 3parking slots nexts to this big busy driveway. Anyway, at Van Dam St (where I was assigned to next over the phone with U-Haul customer service),I find someone more approachable that in a better way than the last, but just equally as frustrated, tells me he doesn’t know why they sent me there because he has absolutely no room for my truck. Here I am even more late for work and not willing to go and drive to another location and get further and further away from home just to hear the same exact thing being told to me. Luckily, I was able to successfully complete the app self-check out and there before speaking to this man. I let him know that my car was officially returned and that the only step missing was dropping off the keys. So obviously I couldn’t just leave with it and bring it back later like he suggested. If I didn’t mention how It’d then be considered theft if I then move the car again and take it with me or keep the keys after already having it successfully returned on the app, something I was not willing to do, this man would have also ignored me and not taken the keys and let me get to freaking work. These events happened from 7:50am-9:20am. I should not take that long to drop off a truck, especially when my pick up experience was so fast and simple. Could’ve been an overall great experience, but for obvious reasons it just wasn’t. Clearly there is an overall theme here where there is terrible communication between third party businesses affiliated with U-Haul.

It was a little difficult to locate or contact beforehand. However once we got there service was prompt. Equipment was well maintained. Checking the truck back in was quick and painless. We even recieved a refund for some items. Sam the owner was really nice. A definite recommendation from us ??

The location was great, but when I got their, your uhaul app process was the burden I had to register my drivers license, photo, etc , all steps that, could have been done from home and I could have been in and out. There I was at a gas station photographing my credentials and entering my driver's license numbers. That was ridiculous.

When I got there, there was no vehicle available. I saw a couple if 10 foot trucks (I had reserved a van) and asked fur then to substitute and he refused. Bad!! I stated my dissatisfaction and he said, call the 800 number. Only because somebody returned a van suddenly did I get my RESERVED rental. Pretty bad!!

I was told by Customer Service that a 10’ truck would be appropriate for a One Bedroom apartment but this was misleading and in fact I had to rent a van from Avis to make up for the shortfall which cost me $600 extra.

The van wasn’t the cleanest inside (left over paperwork from the previous renter) but I didn’t care much. The exterior of the vehicle is a bit rusty but again I could care less. The service was excellent and that’s what matters in my books. The guy behind the counter couldn’t have been more accommodating, I will 100% use this location again

When I rented the truck I want do it 2-way but was told they only can dobit one way,then I asked how much is the penalty if I return to other location they told me around $100,but it is $290 charge it is unacceptable!

It took me two hours to wait for my van. This location is good. My original pickup location is LIC LOT LLC and my pick up time is 12pm. When we got there, my reserved van was not there and the staff didn't know where the van is. So we called customer service and it took us half-hour to get someone talk to us. He said we just took any uhaul that was available in this parking lot without giving us a number, but the staff refused to let us do so. It took us another half-hour to speak to another representative and she didn't know where our reserved van was. She can only gave us another pickup location. We eventually got the car around 2pm. The customer representative said uhaul will give me $50 for inconvenience but i never received it. It was so difficult and inefficient to talk to Uhaul customer service. It looks like they were not professional. I don't think i will consider uhaul next time if i have to move out.

The reservation said I could pick up the truck via the mobile app, but that wasn't actually possible. I made a reservation for before business hours and I wouldn't have gotten it if the guy wasn't there early and had talked to me on the phone the day before.

The store employee is rude when I told him that the mileage on the contract is different from the van’s mileage. I showed him the picture. I told him to charge me with the correct mileage I used.

They tried to over charge my credit card. The guy that was working didn't want to listen to what I was trying to tell him. He said to me that he is fasting and doesn't want to fight with me. Because I'm trying to explain to him what he was charging was wrong. His customer service was very bad.
