Truck was dirty and he told me I was not gonna be charged for it and then I get a notification that I’m being charged for a truck clean $60

In my opinion, he should NOT be dealing with customers as it pertains to Uhaul Rentals.

Kyrellos HI arrived one hour early, but I was clocked out an hour and a half later than my actual arrival time. This discrepancy resulted in me being charged for two days instead of one. When I called on Friday night and Saturday, I was informed that the owner, Sammy, was unavailable until Monday due to a family weekend, and no one else could address the issue. While an extra $100 was charged to me without hesitation, it’s concerning that over the course of three days, there wasn’t a moment to correct the error—especially since Sammy was the one who inaccurately clocked me out in the first place. I would like to express my gratitude to the U-Haul customer service team, who were excellent from beginning to end. They listened to my concern, rectified the issue, and promptly refunded the $100. Auguri and Jefrey, who work there, made consistent efforts to contact their boss, Sammy, by sending him texts, but unfortunately, he did not respond.
michael tThis location is a scammer I will also communicate to my legal department in addition to communicating that UHaul in this location scams customers and I will try to let as many people as possible know, also through my newspaper not to rent Vans with Uhaul anymore. For the third consecutive time that I have rented here, when returning the vehicle, the operator inserts a lower level of gasoline than the real one, to make the customer pay a higher cost in addition to the re-fuel charges. This is a scam that they also did to other customers and we decided to create a class action against U-Haul and the manager of this location

JAMEL Aall as expected. truck was ready. no friction experience. a small nice to have would have been the ability to park the truck on the gas station backside lot since I was doing a gap move. but understand there might be liability issues with that.

DEBORAH Mdrop off in LIC @van Dam a nightmare. 2 hrs spent there bc man doesn’t have in system & 1.5 hrs on phone. I speak to rep, rep puts me on hold , i hear rep’s phone call with guy, then rep disconnects as i am redirected to a 59 min wait to speak to rep. Van dam location man was incompetent- Have Syosset location train future employees. It is unacceptable. Then after leaving, Charged $12 for gas & emailed start & finish pics of missing 1/4 gas. Returned it with what i started with. Emailed pics& still haven’t be refunded. still waiting to be refunded $12.00. Let me know if you need me to resend dates time pictures of mileage & gas. Let me know, i have them saved to my phone.

Michael APerson answering phone was unresponsive and put me on indefinite hold while calling in to let them know return would be delayed due to thunderstorms. Dolly, flat Dolly and furniture pads were charged extra for going over the return time. Extra day charge is understandable but being charged twice for dolly rental and furniture pad is ridiculous. Was told to fold the furniture pads which added to the delayed. Refueled the tank with multiple 3 gallons of fuel after traveling less than 15 miles. Overall bad experience with terrible customer service.

MARTIN JAllow for week-early rentals. Just in case a customer arrived a week early, or less because he got the rental date wrong, for example the rental was for 7/28/24, but the customer went to the rental office on 7/21/24. Thanks, Doc

kwame bThe van i requested was unavailable so I had to switch to a larger one. Was told i would get a $60 compensation but haven’t received any information about that. Also, the check-in process was long. It would’ve been helpful to know ahead of time that i will need a passport or some additional information + to wait around for 10 min. In addition, the app is awful and crashed a couple times during the check-out process (iPhone 12 with no issues on other apps).

Bennett LAs an avid Uhaul renter, this time we had a terrible experience.The service agen had a teribble attitude. The trucks shocks were squeaking from the station to North Bergen, NJ and back. The tire also blew out while driving through the Lincoln Tunnel. Luckily U-Hauls roadside assistance is amazing or we wouldve been stuck! I do not recommend Imbaba station. Uhaul -> YES, Imbaba Station -> NO!
Steven MMy experience with Samni was above and beyond. He greeted me so kindly and very quickly processed my reservation. The truck was like new. I felt sincerely well cared for at this Uhaul station. However, prior to my arriving at Imbaba my Uhaul experience at truck share at the Century 21 facility was a nightmare. I was not able to open the lock box after several attempts. I followed the instructions and app closely. Finally, I called for help. The customer service agent who attended my call initially dismissed my issue. I was extremely infuriated and I realize that did not help the situation. However, she did not know how to de escalate in a way that made me feel any support. She did somehow set up the new reservation at Imbaba. Though she never confirmed it was done, and left me on the line holding. I walked to Imbaba to see if there was a truck reserved, thankfully, Samni was there to save the day. I would only use Uhaul again because of Imbaba station. The Uhaul truck share at Century 21 was a disaster for me.
