I would like to express my sincere appreciation for Debbie, the District Assistant Manager at the U-Haul Regional Office. My recent U-Haul experience was extremely difficult, but Debbie turned it around and made the entire process not only achievable, but manageable with dignity, persistence, and care. While I don’t wish to discredit anyone, I must honestly say that the service at this particular location has been consistently underwhelming—this being my second visit with the same representative. The attention to customer needs has not reflected the standard one would hope for. Once I returned home after hours of try to obtain all moving equipment necessary for my move, I called the Regional Office and spoke with Debbie, who was exceptionally understanding and took action. She stepped in and took full ownership of the situation—one that took nearly an entire day to resolve. I was able to witness her dedication and professionalism as she coordinated directly with other U-Haul representatives by phone, ensuring that every detail was handled correctly. Because of her authority and persistence, I was able to move my personal items with all required utilities involved—greatly assisting my moving manager and allowing the process to continue without further delay. Although the equipment was cleaned and appeared well-maintained, I sincerely hope this location will begin taking proactive steps to report and address vehicle maintenance issues, such as low tire pressure, to prevent customers from having to deal with mechanical concerns themselves upon rental. **Thank you, Debbie—you truly made a difference and turned my day around.** Warm regards,

The receiver Neil Patel was nice but didn’t want to give his name in case I needed to explain who received the return truck. He wasn’t sure of the extra charge which is where GM Lisa Birch Jones assisted and corrected the error. In the end, he was more compliant and helpful via his manager and GM Lisa.

A drop off key box behind an ice cooler in front of a liquor store, in a really uncomfortable sketchy part of town !

The employees at this location were rude. They were very slow. We didn't use much gas. Only drove 10.6 miles and they said we used almost 2 gallons. The needle was still in the same spot. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I would drive a few extra miles to rent from another location.

I paid the 10 extra for a dolly never received it . Also only had the uhaul for 6 hours but was charged for 12 and didn’t receive a refund for the extra hours I didn’t have it or the dolly they never gave me. Forsure won’t be returning to this location for no later Uhaul needs

Truck was snow covered. Fuel cap was hanging open. Tried to overcharge for fuel. Luckily took before and after pictures of the guage.

Made reservations to pick up a truck from the Dixie Hwy, Louisville, location, and drop it off in Walton, ky. Got a confirmation and assumed (my bad, I didn't read it) that things were good. Got to louisville, and found Uhaul had screwed up my reservation- truck was in Vevay, Indiana for a local move. Spent 20 minutes on the phone trying to get a truck in Louisville. Reps kept transferring me to someone else. Finally got someone who would change my reservation. Only problem is they were in Ohio!!! Really??? Like WTF? At least this person had the brains to transfer me to a Louisville rep. Got a reservation for a truck in Valley station. Went there and spent an hour in the process of renting a truck. I was the only customer. I've rented trucks many times before, never took more than a few minutes. Finally got the truck. It had 3/8 tank of gas, and the drivers seat was stuck fully forward. I'm over 6 feet tall, and had to tilt the wheel all the way up so I could lift up my leg enough to use the brake. had to fill up gas on the way, and the milage I was allowed didn't cover the move and return of the truck, so I was charged extra on the miles. Was told I would have to pay an after-hours-return fee since the place I was returning the truck to closes a few minutes after my late start due to the renting fiasco.

The truck was covered in snow, the parking lot was snow and ice covered. I had to clean off the snow myself, they didn't offer any help just a small broom. When I returned the truck they told me where to park it even though I told them it would probably get stuck if I drove behind the business loke they were telling me to do. I got almost in the parking spot they told me to park it and it got stuck. It took about 30 minutes to check out because they were having internet problems.

I went to pick up my uhual which i reserved for 6:30. At this location. I unlocked truck and no key was in it , they was storing, something it it. I asked the guys that work in the store they acted like they didn’t know anything about the uhual or even denied that it was sitting right outside the building. Then there boss comes up an hour later with the key that was supposed to had been on the floor, and they started to take the stuff out. I didn’t get to use the truck until 7:45 , they took an hour away, and they lied about knowing anything about it, and they took some of my reserved time away. I really want the full refund cause it shouldn’t have went that way at all. I should just been able to pick the truck up and go.
