I looked on the website the closest location and saw they had lots of availability. I decided to go directly to the store to rent. I saw at least 5 truck parked there and the lady from store said she didn't have any availability even after I showing her the website. She also said: â€œAfter you complete the reservation, the website will direct you to pick up the truck in a different locationâ€. I decided to complete the reservation through the website anyway because I needed the truck, and guess what? THEY DID HAVE AVAILABILITY! To be honest I didn't understand why the lady was giving me this hard time. Moving is so stressful and I think she should try help the costumers instead of creating more stress.Rudnei D.

When I arrived the person I met with told me they didn't have what I has reserved and would have to go to another location. She was not very helpful until I pushed her to check my reservation after telling her the equipment I reserved was on site (since I had seen it). More customer service training of that person would be useful. She was quick and efficient once she was willing to look for, and found, my reservation, but too quick to dismiss me at first.Marshal S.

The truck we rented was dirty and smelled bad. In fact, one of the cupholders was full of liquid. The location also incorrectly noted the amount of gas in the truck and I realized this too late. I return the truck at the same amount of gas that it was when I picked it up, yet they charged me $50 for being under the â€œcorrectâ€ level. They claimed that I was 3.6 gallons off, which is impossible because we drove the car a total of 10 miles. When I phone customer service to try to remedy the issue, they said I had no proof, so they would not reverse the charges. I will rent from Penske next time.MARC M.

1) The cab was clean. The interior of the van was clean. However, the windshield was so dirty you could hardly see through it. Minor thing, because I washed it in a gas station, but just something to note. 2) I have never yet been able to complete a checkout with my smart phone. I got all the way through to the point of taking the picture of the fuel level and mileage, and the button just did nothing. The attendant surmised that the U-Haul servers were overwhelmed - he seemed to think that was common. So, he checked me out from his terminal, however the whole process of your server glitch cost me 1/2 hour in a very long, busy day. 3) Check-in afterhours with my smart phone worked fine. Except - it thought I owed a whole tank of gas, when I had already purchased gas above the level when I received the van. I contested it in the app at that time, and I am pleased to report that the charge to my credit card was the correct charge that I expected. So, someone along the line did act on my comments in the app and did correct the final invoice. Thanks. I suspect the fuel level disconnect may have been related to the phone app hanging up and the attendant then doing the checkout. 4) Successful move. Things are fine now.Joseph J.
Get a new location with new staff. I said that I need a cargo van for one day. I got a 1/4 tank with it, then returned it with 1/4 tank. I was charged for a additional day after the fact of returning it the same day. I was also charged a gas fee of $65.00. As well as horrendous customer service from the staff.kenneth S.

I picked up the truck with slightly below 1/4 tank gas. I returned it 3 hours later with slightly above the 1/4 tank. I asked them to check while I was there and they said do not worry. Afterwards they charged me more than $50.00 for gas!!. Beware, very dishonest. I will take it up with Uhaul.Massoud M.

Reserved a 15 foot truck and an appliance dolly. No dolly available because I was told they can never guarantee they will be. Whats the point of confirming its reserved when its not? Defeated the entire purpose of the rental. At least I was able to drive to another uhail location to rent the dolly. Almost wasted a whole day.BRUCE B.

Overall good! They made the process of moving quick and easy. No long wait times or excessive paperwork to fill out, and they were very accommodating of letting me change my U-haul pickup time to a later pickup time since packing and moving got a bit chaotic. Truck was sprayed with mud on sides, had mud tracked inside cab, and door foam liner fell down each time passenger door was opened. I went a total of 17 miles and put in $6 worth of gas (I have receipt to prove it) yet was charged an additional $11 fuel refill fee. I called to find out why I was charged extra and they said they didn't know, but maybe gas was a tick lower. I made sure gas was at same level, but wasn't paranoid enough to take photos for before and after besides the scrapes on the side prior to the rental. There's other locations and companies that I'd much rather support, likely won't be backBRIAN F.

I extended my rental after a few days. The original charge was $98. I called the toll free number because the rental place was closed. The customer rep said the charge was going to be $151 to extend 7 days. The hold on my card was $250, overdrawing my account. I returned the truck early and was charged another $42 after the placing a total hold of $348. My total bill came to $141. But they had $348 on hold. I was never told anything about the extra hold amount.ROBERT B.

The drivers seat handle was broken, so I couldn't adjust the seat to my comfort, but other than that I was very comfortable driving it. I wasn't happy with there communication, they couldn't explain correct information in regards to miles, drop off prices. It was all miss understanding because then they said I could have saved some money, but they didn't let me know. Just to let you know I was not the first time renting a Uhaul, & this was the first time that it was a (Big) Mess!!!!!!!!!!Lydia T.

I had purchased extra supplies online expecting them to be at the pickup site they did not have any supplies nor did they carry any , also when making the reservation the website automatically had charges built-in for a dolly, furniture dolly, and blankets which I did not need.
