Never again. After going through lengthy and thorough online reservation process complete with credit card verification, drivers lic, etc.., I was required to submit (at rental facility) multiple personal contacts (name, phone, address, email) to complete reservation. Do I really need to offer up my friends and family as sacrificial lambs to the Uhaul data base (wtf are you going to do with that information???) in order to rent you 10' cube truck for $20/day?? The check in process was even more painful requiring submission of no less that 8 photographs detailing parking location (same as pickup and ONLY option), interior floor and box (much cleaner than the condition I took delivery), gas gauge, odometer, etc.. no less than a 20 minute exercise. Felt bad for the poor kid working the desk who probably couldn't get a job anywhere else saddled with executing this shit protocol. Off to Yelp and Google.JOHN H.

The woman at the location was amazing but uhaul needs to fix their system. Apparently I rented from a third party location their hours and options are different then what I made my reservation for. 1. Reservation 9:00, location opens at 9:30. I had movers scheduled for 9:30. 2. Reservation drop-off at a different location. Third party location requires truck returned to them. Doubling miles and adding an hour. There is another uhaul down the street. If I was aware of these issues I would have just changed locations.BRIDGET C.

They gave me a van with fuel close to 20% Apparently if the tank is close to 15% and you don't choose self refill option they charge you $30 extra. Service was good, but they found a way to mint money.NAVEEN G.

Give more notice about needing to have 2 additional contacts available to answer a phone call yay the time of pick up when doing contactless pickup. I didn't know that was necessary and it really delayed my pick up because I had to call 2 friends to make sure they would be able to take a call just to verify that I was picking up this U-Haul.Christina L.

When I reached the truck was not there and then they routed me to another location (after at least a one hour wait) when online it said I have a guaranteed appointment (otherwise they will re-imburse 50$), horrible experience, will never recommend U-haul again to anyone. I even spoke to the Uhaul manager in Tacoma and she wasn't helpful either.Shishir A.

The truck that I had reserved has not yet been returned. Fortunately there was a 15' truck available that I was able to use instead; however this slowed down the pickup process when I was already on a very tight timeline. The verification process for mobile pick up was terrible; I provided my work number, not knowing that the number had to be answered immediately. As this was a Friday afternoon and we are working remotely due to COVID, there was no one to answer the call. Had I known that I could have provided of my Passport instead, I would have brought that with me. This delayed my pickup even further.Elsa M W.

The process of renting a u haul was very convenient and easy. Both of the staff I encountered - Michelle and Scott were very friendly and helpful both over-the-phone and in-person. Your facility looks very nice and I am interested in moving from Public Storage down the street to Self Storage. I didn't have time for Scott to show me around but I plan to come back. The rep misread the gas from the previous trip. I tried to report it but for some reason it didn't submit. I went 4 miles and you charged me for 4 gallons of gas and a $30 charge which I'll be calling to dispute. The girl at the agents office at Interbay storage â€œgraceâ€ was horrible. The truck was clean enough, but it had just above one eighth of a tank of gas when I picked it up. Who wants to immediately have to fill their truck with gas when they're on a moving schedule? It just seems to me like anything under a quarter tank is sloppy and negligent to your renters.Alexandra B.

This was the quickest and easiest Uhaul rental experience I've had. There was no line and the building was easy to access off the busy main street. The woman at the front desk, Dawn, was great! She was very pleasant and knowledgeable. She made sure we knew of any fees we might incur for various situations and gave us helpful tips. This is now my preferred Uhaul location in Seattle.Ron D.

U-haul downtown (terry ave) was the original booking location - however they told me via email they change the location. Perhaps they should also text me next time or call me to confirm the change in location since I didn't know until I was already at the downtown location. Most UHaul locations are NOT 25-hour rentals. The idea that a truck returned in the early evening, for example, a couple of hours after the official return time triggers an extra day of rental charges. This needs to be more clearly stated to all renters at your location.William D.
The lady at Interbay Self Storage who checked me in and who checked me out was marvelous. Truly the best customer service I have ever experienced from a U-Haul or any car rental location. I felt like I was at Enterprise. She was courteous, professional, and efficient. If I had a job for her with my company, I'd probably try to recruit her to work for us.Raymond H.

I'd like to say how extremely helpful Michelle was at the Interbay location. UHaul actually LOST my reservation and bounced me around to different locations in order to find a truck. Michelle took an interest in my cause and made it right. She was great to deal with and took responsibility on behalf of UHaul. She went above and beyond and made our experience excellent!Scott B.
It should not take 45 min to check-out your rental vehicle. If you need to change the confirmed address and time, send a message to the customer explaining why. .Alexander J.

Dawn was absolutely AMAZING! She literally saved the day after a horrible experience with the Uhaul Moving & Storage of Interbay. Dawn was personable and really went out of her way to make up for the previous disappointing experience and to make me feel like a valued customer. I will absolutely rent again from this location specifically and will highly recommend Dawn! The Uhaul Moving & Storage of Interbay location suffers severely from poor customer service, non existant communication, and complete lack of empathy from the "customer service reps".Heather J.
