dORA oThe owner of this location is not doing uhaul any favors with his poor attitude, inability to work efficiently and constantly answering his cell phone during the rental processing. Online reservation should make the process faster and easier but his lack of ability to communicate properly makes it unbearable to ever deal with this location again. His franchise should be placed under review.

ANNE B1. Horrible communications… called the day before insisting we get the truck at noon when we already scheduled with Uhaul customer service for 3pm 2. Forgetting full phone calls about scheduled times and called at 1pm basically telling us we were going to need to schedule another truck and to call back immediately because we didn’t show at noon even though we cleared the day before it would be 3p 3. Wasn’t there when we arrived just before 3 4. Creepy nasty office 5. Asked why we didn’t just do mobile and get key out the box 6. He couldn’t find the key for 20/30 minutes 7. We arrived first renting the most expensive truck and follies and 5 dozen blankets yet he stopped and send three others who arrived after us… which he scheduled us all at the same time but again we arrived first 8. He couldn’t keep up with paperwork and had to keep getting my copy and then never returned it 9. Insisted we had to drive back to Lexington and return to his location even though we scheduled over the phone with U-Haul customer service to drop near our new home… which we did do 10. He also insisted when we dropped to be sure to leave the truck unlocked 11. Did not do a check on vehicle before we left 12. Vehicle had a check engine light 13, what really annoys me is a nicer Uhaul location is just up the road on Augusta Road 14. It took us an hour to get the truck
RACHEL SNo because I booked online for a truck and when I got there is was unavailable and the man rented me a truck at about 2pm and told me to have it back before 5pm because someone else was coming to rent it that’s ridiculous to have to pay over 70 dollars for a truck when I only had it for about an hour usually when I rent it’s for a day and it for Ace Hardware and it’s only like 35 dollars I feel and know I was rip off yesterday and very unsatisfied

CHRISTOPHER FFirst time UHAIL user. After an unsuccessful start at another dealer, customer service quickly found a truck for me at International Enterprises. Mr. Wrenn was so nice. The truck was exactly what I needed and there were absolutely no issues from start to finish. Will start here should I need a truck again!
BETTY YThis lil ole man should not be there alone working alone! He should have a helper. He does know his shit! But he is old. Very beautiful soul and caring.
JESSICA TWhile the exterior was clean and organized, the inside "office" area was a chaotic and dirty space. There was one attendant who had no help, although he was very nice and poised. He was a gentleman. This location needs a complete cleaning and reorganization. Clean up the space, repair the ceilings and organize the attendants' desk/office area.

DURNIER YMy experience was awful! My 24/7 pickup didn't work. The gentleman at the Uhaul place was not helpful. Told me I needed to call 1-800 Go Uhaul, so I did. The guy that helped me on the phone was amazing. One he spoke to the Uhaul dealer and cleared me for my key. The dealer guy asked to to look in the back of truck and if there was any equipment it had to come in. Now it is cold and raining and yes there was a dolly in the back. We took it in to him and when I got to the truck and opened the door it was dirty trash on the floor Chocolate on the seat and in the floorboard. Very unhappy with my experience, I didn't have time to go back in there and deal with that guy. I posted the pictures when I took them on your app before I left.

AUDREY MTruck wasn’t clean. Was told it would be easy to use the app and self check out the truck. Took me 45 minutes to upload all the photos it required. Took about 30 minutes to check the truck back in on the app. I have used Uhaul a bunch in the past. Not saying I won’t again but will not use a mom and pop place again.

AJA LManager was unsure of the details of my rental. Check-in was not quick, but the gentlemen was extremely nice.
LUCAS CTruck was in poor condition upon pickup. Signed the contract showing a full tank of gas but it was half empty. Windshield wipers were terrible and hampered visibility when it rained. Most importantly though the battery was almost completely dead. Had 2 hours of delay waiting for roadside assistance to first jumpstart the truck and later replace the battery. All of these things should have been checked before I picked up the truck.

MATTHEW PIt took way too long to pick up the equipment. The owner had used the van and it had trash and clothes in the front. I had to load the 12 ft cargo trailer mostly on my own. Then got mansplained how to properly attach the trailer. Finally all the equipment was scheduled to return in west Columbia and Lexington. We were moving to Wisconsin. Ended up getting charged for all that until it was worked out with Uhaul. Now waiting for a refund. Could have been avoided if things had been done properly in the first place.
HEATHER LGot the truck on gas gauge empty. Alignment was so bad that it the Ford symbol on the steering wheel is completely vertical- cannot see speedometer.
MAX FMr.Gerald was marvelous with his customer service. He's a genuine person & very hospitable.. Great service and great sense of humor. Will be doing business again whenever needed 😊
TAMARIKA RGerald is a their he said the fuel was less than when got it but we put it back exactly where it was when we got it he charged a $50 clean up fee when there was nothing to clean up he is a conniving their and ill make sure no one I know will do business with him

Graciela VGerald was super friendly, called me ahead of time to be sure I knew where his location was. Met me outside as I drove up, said he would take care of everything and promptly email me a return receipt, and he did. My go-to dealer for any UHaul equipment need in this area in the future.

Keisure BI had a reservation for 9:30am and did not leave the site with the trailer until 11:30am. I was an hour late for my meet up with the group that I was leading on a trip. While the service was warm and friendly, it was extremely slow - even interrupting our interactions to answer the phone countless times. The location was filthy and in need of repairs. When it finally came time for us to hook up our trailer, after our two hour wait, a jack was not provided but instead we were given a 4x4 with which to lift the trailer arm. My husband had to use his strength with the 4x4 to lift the arm as much as possible while I put bricks and rocks under it to keep it lifted. It took so much to get it high enough to hook to our hitch, it was ridiculous. I rent vehicles and trailers annually from different locations and never have I been to one at which there was not proper equipment and someone to assist. Our reservation was initially made online at a different location and then Uhaul changed it to this one. I so regret not insisting they move it back to where I wanted to pick up in the first place.

The building is rather odd, and the door is located nearer to the back of the store. While there is a sign out front, it was still a bit confusing. We were the first customers of the day, and the door was locked when we arrived (just after 9:00 am).

Edward TThe whole experience made me want to use another company. I seen they didn’t really clean up anything even the bathroom looked like they have been living at that location. The bathroom had a crowbar that kept it open, ( the lights inside of that bathroom also had no closing stall ) Ceiling was falling apart, the desk was a mess, the only employee was kind but I can say that they typed everything very slow one key at a time. In all honesty if I was given the chance to type out everything for him I would have. When I asked about an employee discount they told me there wasn’t one when it is a standard 20%.
Francisco TThis is the second time that I have used this location. It is located near my home and is very convenient. The poor elder gentleman was very helpful and courteous, the only problem was that he was shorthanded due to his help being at medical appointments. Other than that everything went smoothly
Russ MI have used U-Haul now about 4 times in my life. Never have I felt as catered to as I did working with Gerald. He truly makes you feel like family, with his warming manner and understanding of your specific situation. He was available to help us with our burden of needing to return a 26' truck with an auto trailer, and a 4x9 trailer. Then due to us needing to do one more trip was able to rent us a 10' truck to finish the job. He is the best employee I have ever worked with in regard to customer service anywhere. His shops are humble and could use a renovation. If U-Haul is willing to help him out I believe it could bolster even more sales.
Andrew NThe truck I got was rough as far as how it ran. I had to watch the temp garage the entire trip as it would float up to the High range several times as I worried about it over heating. I couldn't run the a/c but thankful it was not a hot day. Seemed under powered for a long distance trip as I had one way. Again to me the truck showed it's age and just didn't make a good trip.
