Yes is only because staff that had nothing to do with my Uhaul where friedlier han the Uhaul down thw street on old seward.
WENSON GThe pickup was not properly prepared, the truck bed still had a 6 inch layer of snow from the snow fall the previous day.
Arness GLoved the location and service. Not happy with the customer service. The female staffer treated me as if I was trying to steal the truck. I chose the mobile pick up option (using my phone) instead of the in-person counter option. I entered the combo code into the lock box outside to get the truck key. Then the staffer came outside. I asked: "How do I work this sliding thing on the lock to open it?" She said: "You dont. Follow me inside." I felt like she thought I was trying to steal a vehicle. I then told her I had gone thru the mobile process, so what was the point of me coming to the counter to get the key? I think she then realized I had entered the correct lock combo code to get the truck key...so I must be a legitimate customer. Her whole attitude changed, and she became nice and handed me the truck key. But up until then...she was rude and forceful. Not happy.

BONNIE TI would not, and could not recommend this location until the issue is affecting my rental are resolved. The employees at this location were excellent and highly recommend recommendable. However, the equipment that I rented turned out to be not in good repair in a way that was not obvious upon casually getting the vehicle, specifically the bottom center maintenance hatch turned out to be loose and I nearly fell through! This vehicles back door was also exceedingly hard to shut. this vehicle never should have been rent it out in its condition. I have rented a number of U-Haul’s, and I have never had either of these issues much less both in one vehicle. as a result of the hatch in the back of the truck come and completely open, I was not able to use the ramp on the vehicle, which made it really impossible to accomplish all of the moving. They needed to get done and made the job much more difficult. I was extremely dissatisfied by these circumstances. I would like a refund of my rental fee during this past rental. I also hope that this truck is sent for review and repair to ensure it is safe for another renter. I would like to contact from management to ensure that a refund is discussed and handled. I give great credit to the staff at the location, they were exceedingly kind and helpful. I am hopeful that their calls to management regarding the condition condition of this truck are taken seriously.
ERICA RService was fine for pick up. For drop off the office was closed and not responsive to phone calls, despite drop off being pre-scheduled and within listed business hours.

Ron SI scheduled the truck to pick it up after hours months in advance. I also called 2 days prior to verify. I show up at midnight to pick it up and was not able to. I spent over an hour on the phone with customer service trying to figure it out. All the hotels in the area were over $300 per night. Added expenses that wasn’t planned. I then show up at 9 when opening to find out an employee had taken the key home with them and had to wait for that to be returned. More time and expense added to my trip that I had planned. I’ve used U-Haul in the past with good outcomes. But this was a terrible experience and would like to talk to someone about it before I post a review.
KADE GTires were balding for our 4000 mile on the Alcan. The shop on Old Seward did us proud and put new tires on. There was no way the original tires would have made the trip on the roads we traveled. The new tires made it manageable.
joann mThird party host for uhaul, only desk receptionist was there and she didn't know enough to answer all questions or to help us hook up the trailer. Third party agents should have at least a basic level of knowledge.

Marylou CExplaining everything to customers when they come in to check in and giving them a contract upon exiting would be helpful. I’ve always had someone give me paperwork before I leave when a uhaul, but not this one. The tire pressure gauge sensor was also not working, and I wasn’t told about it before picking up the truck. I drove back a couple minutes after to ask about it and the gentleman who checked me in was rude as if I was an inconvenience and should have known it was just the sensor and not the actual tires, but it should have been his responsibility to let me know. Upon bringing back, I brought the keys, expecting an inspection of the vehicle, as I did in person check in and he just grabbed the keys and told me it would be closed out later. I contacted the man I checked in with the previous day cuz nobody was answering their main office number and the man was rude to me saying I was the only one out of three people the day prior who couldn’t grasp that it would eventually be closed out. I eventually just called the main uhaul number that day (yesferday) to have uhaul put a note in my account that I returned the truck the correct day and time. It was then closed out a little later. The lady on the phone at uhaul was apologetic, even though it wasn’t her fault. That was very kind of her. I’m glad someone seemed to care about my feelings on this. As for the facility I rented from, I will likely never go back. The man there made me feel stupid and like a huge burden and inconvenience to him and I don’t think customers should come into a business and leave feeling that way.
Arin SI returned the truck and trailer 6 days early and I believe I was charged for 2 extra days that I was told would be free. My reservation total was $4922 my final charge was $4984. Tried calling this location and was told they would call me back still waiting.

Eric MOnly drove Six (6) miles as evident by odometer and proof in return inspection and was charged almost $9 for fuel! Needed truck to pickup a shed from local costco. I refilled it with Two (2) gal. prior to returning, even though only went six miles. Something's not right here. I would not recommend this location.
Jerry OI got overcharged. Had the truck for less than 24 hours and got charged for two days.

Amos SOnly problem i had was i waited for so long but it was worth the way. the service was so good , they were so friendly and welcoming! i would definitely do business with them again.
