Uhaul sent me to this location to pick up the truck, which is 30 min drive away from the pickup location I selected originally with 1 day notice. And I'm not compensated for the gas cost to drive the extra 30mins, it's an awful experience with Uhaul. The driveway of this location only allows one car to pass at a time, it's too narrow and dangerousBaolin L.

When we picked up the truck it had the incorrect mileage online. We took a picture of the actual mileage used the truck and returned it after driving 17 miles when it said we would be charged for 600 we filed a complaint with uhaul. They said someone would contact us and no one has for several days and now they are trying to charge us 700 dollars.Curtis M.

The Truck needs to have a better ride. Any bump small or large in the road jolted us. Not sure if all your trucks are like this, but if they are you should change the shocks.Edward S.

When dropping off the uhaul the place was closed so I left the key in the slot provided for uhaul rental keys. I did not use the amount of mileage we estimated at time of pick up, the graph of the gas gauge was incorrect but I had no choice but to put that much gas in the uhaul, the amount that the graph showed, I never received the credit for unused mileage. Matter of fact I never even got an acknowledgement of the uhaul being returned by me. I will not use this location again. I only had the uhaul for about 5 hours but had to pay full price for rental for the 1 full day.CATHY B.

Rate for 4X8 enclosed trailer from SC to RI was $45.00. cost for same size trailer from RI to SC was $182.00. Hugh difference! Your customer service told me it was a "supply and demand" pricing. Why should the consumer pay such a high price for the very same situation? I would go to another company but U-Haul has the corner on this size trailer. I will try to buy one before my next trip.Ken G.

I cannot believe you charged me an extra $40 because I night dropped on Sunday and you didn't check it in until 9:45AM on Monday, thus causing an extra charge for a "day" because I picked it up at 7:30 AM on Saturday. REALLY?????? That's bullshit.Nathan G.

Please make sure the trucks are clean before being rented again. There were mouse droppings, drywall pieces & parts of tools left in the truck, not the cab, from the previous user. We took pics before we used the truck.Natasha B.

Improvements? Nothing, Brian (owner) was more than helpful in keeping me on schedule and giving the best offer with appropriate insurance coverage he could provide. I was charged for going 21 miles over the allocated mileage of 155 miles. The location that was listed as a dropoff was incorrect. I did not see the location when i looked for it and traveled 5 miles down the road looking for it. When I couldn't find it I called the 800 number and they told me that where it was so I drove back to where it was supposed to be and it wasn't there. I stopped to ask directions for it and was lucky enough to find someone who knew where it was. I probably drove the extra 21 miles that I was charged. If I didn't I should be credited for those miles just because your website and 800 service were both wrong. The 800 service and website both say that the location is at the corner of Highway 278 and 61. It isn't there. It is at the location above which is about two miles away and is on business 61. Had I not found someone who knew where it was I would have put on many more miles looking for it.NORMAN C.
The vehicle smelled like smoke...later discovered the ash tray had not been emptied..had to do that myself.. Also, was quoted one price until 7pm on the day it was due back...when i returned the vehicle...First he tried to charge me for 4 days. I had it for two...then the guy charged me for an extra day for being 30 mins late. It was 7:30pm when I returned the vehicle. He also charge me $10 cash for gas even though the gas was filled to the same level I received it. It took him nearly 30 mins to check me in...I would like to be refunded for the extra day he made me pay. Would not use this location again.SARA N.
