we dropped off late night after hours. tried unsuccessfully to use the smart phone process of check in. horrible experience. i am very cell phone savy, but the process was restarted 4 times...then after uploading pics in several steps, failed to let me upload the final pic to finish the process. no 800 number was answered, our rental agent did not respond. we dropped keys off and texted renter agent that we had troubles, but it was in location. the process on line, looks simple enough and should be a good process, but do know know why it would not let me finish process.krisi P.

Maybe do more of the check-in steps ahead of time and send a code to use later to verify identity at pickup. It took me around 20 minutes from start to finish to wait for contacts to be called, send my license photo (which I had already done online), etc. Otherwise, very good step-by-step system - just not for anyone in a hurry.Shelley J.

Location was an unmanned facility which was difficult to locate even with a map. Key drop box referred me to a website I was unable to fully access from my phone. I just put the key in the box and left, and that seemed to work out ok. Location was a vacant field next to the storage.Duane W.

We were not prepared for the challenge of getting the keys from the lock box. It took us about three hours of talking on the phone to customer service. We would talk to someone a while, then they would say I have done what all I know to do, let me transfer you now. .. so then we would wait, and wait...and one customer service hung up on me... I was very frustrated ??. Thanks to my husband and for the customer service person who was willing and did find out why we were not getting the code to open up the lock box... It put us at least three hours behind schedule. Thank the lord for my neighbors who stayed late to help us move and also came early to help us move the next morning!Matt B.
