We rented the unit on line. We showed up and showed our reservation and they showed us a unit and told us to take it, We did. 1.5 hours later we got a call from a lady that told us there was a mistake and we had to drive back with the Haul so they could take photos and "check it out" We explained this was a one way rental and we did not have the time to turn around and come back. They insisted we HAD TOO or they would call the police and report it stolen! We hung up and I called the 800 UHaul number who after being disconnected 3 times was able to help us and told us they were "checking it in from their end". Being told we have to come back an hour and a half later and being told they are calling the cops on us was a HORRIBLE experience. All of this stemmed because the people that run the UHaul area do not man the location they have told the people that work there to call them when someone shows up. SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL! As a business owner and a person who rents from UHaul often to include taking UHAUL "Containers" to other locations I have never felt so negative. And to make things 10 times worse we were over charged for the rental, very bad experience.

Replied to the email being charged outrageous charges for something I never received. You all need to get in communication to where I picked the U-Haul up at and talk to Enrique he even called me and I have a voicemail from him saying he forgot to put it in the truck. So if this doesn’t get resolved and I receive something in writing that it was resolved I will be suing.
