I was promised 270 miles with no charge due to U-Haul not having the truck from the location on my original reservation. However, I was charged for over 200 miles in spite of me noting the agreement with the agent at the desk in Tucumcari. Thankfully, Anthony from the New Mexico U-Haul group and his manager Justin rectified the situation and refunded my mileage.

Gregory RMake sure those representing “U-Haul” respect the brand and not come off as a cash grab. I was asked if I had a towing hitch and lights. I mentioned I needed an adapter to which the response was I would need to pay 170.00 per hour for install. I said I just need an adapter and I could install it myself in less than a minute. Very unprofessional customer service!

RICH DI do realize that every business has to show a profit, but I feel your rates are on the high side. I am retired & on a limited fixed income. I had to borrow from my daughter to pay for this. My van engine died on a remote stretch of INT 40 & I had to tow my van back to Tucson, where she lives.

Nate CTrailer I was given looked old, the outside paint was faded and was peeling off. It was a roll-down door, very hard to open and close. When I arrived at my destination, the load had shifted and the door was almost impossible to open. No problem with crew, they are very helpful at this location.

RICHARD DJack is not a nice human. He was extremely rude to myself. And everybody else who I witnessed him speak into while I was there for the day. When he first showed up on property, he did not introduce himself and immediately started barking orders at ME to move. Other U-haul trucks around his property. Trucks that are not mine and I have nothing to do with. I would seriously consider how safe it is to be doing business with somebody who would Not ask but order a stranger to move your equipment!! I politely told him that I have nothing to do with the other tracks on the property. And the only thing that I can say anything about anything was the broken truck that I am crossloading from. And the one next to it which i'm crossloading INTO. He ignored me and what I said and continued to ORDER ME to move the other trucks out of his way. I once again politely told him that he would have to go Find the keys for those trucks IF HE WANTED THEM MOVED Because I had never seen them before in my life. And that he was going to go and have to move them himself, If he wanted them moved because I wasn't allowed to. Seeing as how they're not mine. It finally clicked with him then when I told him to move the trucks himself. First he got mad...and then he realized that I had nothing to do with anything. Then just stormed away, angrily.

COLLEEN KI had a few issues with this uhaul experience unfortunately - and I don’t want to put the blame on the location because I don’t know who is responsible for these things. Initially I needed to pick up my rental in Clovis, not Tucumcari. I had my reservation in for weeks at this point, and 3 days before the day of pickup I received a phone call telling me I had to drive 3 hours round trip to get the truck, and that I would receive an extra day and a discount for doing it. Well I was never told what kind of discount I received (I would like to know) and the extra day didn’t help because I had already booked movers at the final location and was inside their window for canceling/changing the reservation without incurring a fee. On top of me driving all this way, this location didn’t have any of the additional supplies that I ordered, which no one told me until I arrived. So I had to drive back to the original uhaul to pick up all the supplies (a minor inconvenience compared to the long drive). The final thing I’d like to mention was the dolly I received: the wheels were caked in mud. I had to scrub it all off before I would even consider taking it into my garage, let alone my house. The mud was also in the back of the truck from the dolly, which I had to clean out before loading. In hindsight I should have checked the equipment closer while I was still at the pickup location, but I was already behind our intended packing schedule so I chose to just take the equipment and go.

TONY DWe called to see if they were open, they said yes, when we got there, the sign said open, the door was locked, some one was there but they would not open the door; we had to pay an extra $20.00 to do a courtesy drop off. In addition the large green stickers read that if the truck was clean a refund of $25.00 would be returned. I left the truck extremely clean.

Tonya Loffice closed on Sunday - I did call the phone number on the paperwork. Person answered - advised us what to do and to not worry. Suggestion - please update website with office hours.
Andrea UI had to wait over 30 minutes before being seen while there were people standing around. I had to unhook the trailer by myself while someone that arrived after me was able to be helped before me.
Herbert HFucked the whole thing up and charged my card after I already paid bunch of assholes unwilling to fix there mistake after I paid for a one way trip to Amarillo you can't even do that right and tried to make me take it back to Tucumcari and charged an extra day even tho it was returned same day your employees need evaluation
