JOHN SMy reservation was confirmed for this location and a 15’ truck and upon pickup I was told no reservation was made and was forced to receive a different size truck after calling customer service.
Zac SI was told that the vehicle had a ramp for moving a refrigerator. It did not. I discovered this after I was already 30 minutes away. They offered another truck, but that would’ve meant another 60-90 minute delay and I would’ve had to pay for those miles. I pre-requested an appliance dolly, they didn’t have one. The checkin and checkout process was long and annoying as the location had no signal strength for online services. I had to wait until the office opened, and when it didn’t open in time, I had to call twice. The employees were there, just not up front and the door was locked.

RONDA PI originally booked a 20' truck online at the State Street, Ann Arbor location. I was contacted by phone to tell me that this location did not have the truck but that I could pick one up at the Dexter Road, Ann Arbor location. I arrived at this location to find out that the contactless pickup had not been set up and I would have to go to the counter which did not open for 3 hours. I then called and was helped in finding the Jackson Road, Ann Arbor location that had a truck i could pick up without waiting for the office to open. Was not given an explanation as to why the Dexter Road location did not have the reservation ready that I had booked with the agent by phone.

Joshua MThe rental place was not an issue at all. The Uhaul App and instruction emails need to be updated to let the renter know if they are doing a 24/7 pickup that they must arrive within an hour of their scheduled pick up time otherwise they will never get the "pick up my truck" option. No where did it say that so I wasted 45 minutes of my time going through everything on the app trying to figure it out. I finally called the 800 number and was told that piece of information and they were able to change my pickup time and then I was able to finalize getting the truck picked up. Also when uploading photos it takes forever and I had 5G signal so it must be the app.

Todd KIt looks like this location is planning improvements. When I rented my truck I failed to understand why I needed to specify a drop-off location and I had a difficult time finding a U-Haul location that could take the 26-ft truck I'd rented. The staff at this location talked to I believe the central scheduling people to allow me to leave my truck at this location. It took a while, but he did it. Thank-you, Jeremy!

Stephen KI arrived to my location in Mississippi and I was told my truck wasn’t even secured. He said that it was super dangerous and my truck could have fallen off the back off trailer. Trust me when I say the guy was in disbelief at what he saw . U can even contact the man at storage choice in Gulfport Mississippi, he had to re tie down my truck and help me get out of his business parking lot.
Jaime LI have rented this particular trailer several times. This time I needed to sweep a fair amount of sand out of the interior of the trailer. It also appears that the wiring for the lights had been replaced.

JIM SWe originally reserved a rental truck at this site, but we were then reassigned the the 77 Industrial Jackson Rd. site. When we arrived at the site, we found out they were closed for the day, We had to call UHaul for help. They sent us back to the original site we confirmed with. The person we worked with was very helpful. I would just suggest better coordination with the sites when they know they will be closed for the weekend,

haris eThe 5’ x 8’ trailer I rented was clean and in good condition. When I checked the tire pressures I found them to be 47-48 psi (well below the 65 psi maximum), so I increased the pressures.

ABDELHADI AOffice did not open until 10am, but trailer due at 8am so I had to disconnect and move it myself. Got very greasy and hurt my back lifting it.

The on-line system to access the keys for the truck did not work but the manager of the store did show up to get the keys for the ruck. He was very helpful. The online system for the reservation and to get the keys was very unworkable.

Janet SI didn't know there were no employees at the location. There should be warning of this, along with instructions on how to proceed. When I called the 1800 number, I was forwarded to a line that didn't get answered and rerouted me to the beginning menu. The app wouldn't accept my code (I got the error of wrong format?) and a kind reservation associate helped me get in through the browser instead of the app. Once everything worked, I loved the experience, but getting started was very frustrating.
Laura GThe gent who checked me out and in was extremely helpful, professional and courteous. Great job on his part, especially considering I'd signed up for the "24/7" option but it didn't work. The web site check in/out doesn't work, the app doesn't work. Somehow the mileage out was incorrectly recorded (presumably by the previous check in and without the electronic check out, I had no way to know it was wrong when I picked up the truck. I drove the truck once to my house, 2.6 road miles from the pickup, and once back with a gas stop, a total of 5.5 miles. There is simply no possible way I drove 24.20 miles. Didn't happen.
Christopher B-returning the car with royal waste of time. Your app doesn’t work. Entering phone number doesn’t work. - pickup instructions are kind of painful. Car rental asks you for your license and a credit card. Evidence of address/residence is not something people walk around with. - lots of IT issues with online application ( specifically dual authentication- it sends a code> I enter it> it says unknown error) - fix your app- fix registration dual authentication- fix online part return process. - equipment rented were not present. Although I paid for it.
