Worker was very friendly and kind. The truck was dirty though. Cigarette butts and ashs and something gooie in the cup holders. We had to clean it ourselves before we could start our roadtrip.

Better procedures for after-hours drop off. Always provide the vehicle with a full tank of gas to avoid awkward process of refueling to a part tank. Better layout and parking of vehicles in the lot. Fix the front fence gate - I could barely get it open wide enough to get the truck in.

Check in time was a little long as we had to wait for the truck we ordered to be checked back into inventory from the night before. The line behind us was 5 people deep.

Great day, I do have some questions regarding our rental charge. Due to the amount of time to run to the U-Haul truck in the past two weeks we were gifted 250 km with the truck. And now we're being billed $0.69 per kilometer, we were told that we will be getting a $0.49 per kilometers instead of $0.69. How come we're being billed that much for that many kilometers & why were we not gifted the 250 km as spoken upon rental. What is this Rental Charge and Rental Fee of $29 each, what is this; is this new? I can understand one rental charge but why to? This jacked a $60 tab on my bill. I've used U-Haul for years and I've had very comfortable and unconfrontational rates and charges. This time it seems U-Hauls not held up to what we were told we were going to get for kilometers and now new rental charges. Could you please explain this and rectify the total charge with me, i would be greatly appreciative. may you experience an Outstanding day!, Daniel Bax

This was not the location that I had ask for a month in advance which was 5 minutes away from my home. It caused an hour of lost time considering we had to go to Sudbury. It caused a lot of stress and anxiety to figure out other alternatives since.going to Milton or Orangeville was out of our way. Nothing was available in Mississauga either..

Wiring and Ball height could have been an issue when picking up the trailer. Going to have everything checked out ahead of time proved to be invaluable and there were no surprises!!!

The trailer inside needed the rubber bumpers put back into place on the right side which I did prior to loading. The running lights did not function, but the signal, 4-way flashers and brake lights worked.

While the staff was nice and the place was clean I was disappointed in the fact I reserved a 20’ truck online (which showed availability for my date) they called the day before to say they don’t have one. Offerd a 17’ foot truck if I drive to Mississauga to get it. Not interested in wasting my moving day driving to who knows where in Mississauga. Had to take a 15’ truck which fit sweet f all. Took four trips to move my house. Thanks for ruining moving day

I found the truck mechanically good, the exterior and cargo area clean, but the cab interior was quite dirty with previous renters' garbage under the seats and grime all over the console and floor. Overall a good experience despite the dirt. The rental staff were excellent.

The brake light kept coming on and off. I made sure the emergency brake was off. The ABS and brake light would start an annoying binging. When the truck was shut off it would reset. Took about 15 minutes of driving for it to go off. I had to drive in from Georgetown to pick the unit up. I was suppose to get the truck close to the house I was moving out off as arranged 2 weeks prior to moving.Took me 1 hour driving there to pick up the truck and back to Georgetown

The U-haul rep was warm and welcoming, also provide excellent customer service, handled my issue quickly and most efficient, I have been renting U-hauls for yrs to operate my moving business and her interaction was the best experience yet.

I live in Acton and the only location for a 6x12 covered trailer is in brampton. There are locations in Acton Georgetown and Milton, the only place I could get would be brampton more than an hour trip there and back. Absolutely ridiculous. When I was transferred to scheduling I was told that she would call me back in 10 minutes. More than an hour later I had to call them only to be told she tried calling, I did not have any missed calls at all. This whole process was ridiculous and I hated every part of it all. I have never had such bad customer service. This was terrible.

But, I didn't know that there are 2 U Haul locations in Milton. The first location that I went to didn't seem to know this either. The young man helping us didn't know what to do when he couldn't find my reservation. To me, the first thing I would have thought of is the second location.

I originally ordered (reserved 1.5 week in advance) 26' truck and pick from Milton and drop-off in Cambridge. I received a call back and was told that it is not available and offered me 15' with some extra kilometers. Later on i called back and insisted on 26' truck and they were able to find it in Milton, but i had to return it in Milton instead of Cambridge. It costed me extra one hour drive and $25 in gas to pay for Uhaul's mistake and this is not first time. In the end it costed me same as it would have costed me to rent a truck from Milton to Cambridge and i was the one who had to pay and spend extra time for company`s mistake. What a customer service. I was warned by lot of people about this situation, that it is bound to happen with UHaul. thank you so much, Never again.

False promises leading to a poor experience and disappointed customer…. Being in the service industry, I understand the importance of service commitments. I am writing this review to share my recent experience with your organization and the disappointment created from trying to resolve it. This past week I needed to rent a truck with tow dolly to transport items acquired from across the province, like any consumer before signing any contracts or committing to any services, I decided to do some research. I decided use your business because the General Manager of the Oakville, Ontario location, Julie Carreiro explained to me and showed me the best options, she even provided her business card and print out of the estimated travel cost. But upon services rendered the price that I committed to and the price that I was charged, did not match. In trying to resolve this issue, I was instructed to call the Traffic line and provide my contract ID 95992040, which to only have the agent on the phone tell me she’s the service manager and hang up on me, very frustrating! I was then directed to call the customer service line and Shanty informed me that due to the manager not putting notes on the account she was unable to help me…. I have a few questions, how was Julie Carreiro going to make an account for me, if she didn’t have the required equipment at her location; second question as a service manager why wouldn’t she know how to do this? I was finally transferred to a service manager, which I had to explain my situation a fourth time, again very frustrating… she concluded she was unable to help me, I have asked to for the area manager to get in contact with me regarding the issue, I am currently waiting on his response.

The staff and service was excellent. The moving truck was mechanically sound and ran well however the cab was dirty and had a lot of trash in the doors and on the floor. That was the only reason I didn't give this experience rating a 5*
