Go to another location. Staff not trained and equipment not maintained (driver side door was not working so had to climb through other side), steering had high vibration and not straight. Overall very bad experience.

The truck needs maintenance and repairs. The steering wobbles uncontrollably at 70 kilometres per hour. One of the skirts is damaged on the rear tire area and could cause possible issue with puncturing the tire. I informed the front desk upon my return of such items.

We reserved a 26 ft truck oct 1st for oct 27th for 7am pick up, and the day before our move we get a call saying they have only have a 17 ft truck ready at 11am for us. Very unprofessional for a company this big. Will not recommend to anyone. Did not even get a discount or compensated for Kms or anything offered for your mistake. Not satisfied at all. Very upset.

The girl was so bad. for 3 Hr's and 40 Mints she charged two days charges. i get the truck at 11am and put the return timing 2pm. which i didn't knew and i came back at 2:40pm and she said you are late. i called complained office and the man spoke to her and said to her its totally up-to you if you want to waive or charge, " All their conversation i was able to hear because phone speaker was opened and the call was dialed from my cell. after finishing call with complained office she said i cant waive the charges. Over all i would say the girl and the complained office didn't help me, Complained office guy helped her own company colleague instead of listening me. although he asked her that its totally up to you what you want to do.

First, each U-Haul vehicle can come with varying amounts of gas in the tank. If it's full, then a customer merely has to fill the tank up until the gas pump cuts off. But what if the tank is between half and three-quarters full? How are you supposed to know when to stop pumping? Second, U-Haul's policy is drafted in such a way that if the needle is a hair off where it's supposed to be, your automatically charged a fueling fee. To avoid that fee, a customer is forced to buy extra gas. That would be fair if U-Haul then refunded any extra gas (or the equivalent in money). But it doesn't. And eyeballing a gas gauge as a method of measurement is unreliable and arbitrary. I did return it with the gas gauge i received the truck in my needle was close. I did fill in gas and apparently the lady is claiming it was slightly off. I felt robbed of $45 plus the amount of money I put in for gas. This is a steep and ludicrous charge. I’ve been a regular customer of Uhaul and now I will have to reconsider.

1. I rented 26' and got 20' 2. I chose this location because of 26' was supposed to be available at this location otherwise I could save my time and money by picking up 20' from nearest location 3. The Self-Check-Out Application had issues on my Android phone but worked on iPhone

I have dealt with many U-Haul facilities over the years, both here and out of province, and must say that this is one of the better ones, if not the best. Trailers are trailers, but the staff here were VERY helpful and friendly. They even lent me a 2" hitch when all I had with me was a 2 5/16", having assumed wrongly that that is what was needed.

I love uhaul, the trailer worked out well for me The location is good . But starring the yard with trucking company , bit crappy The trailer was very old , on its last legs , was not gone over before i got it . I swept it out so my furniture would stay clean The 2 girls working there were very good I will always count on Uhaul!

Rented a van for 2 days. It was clean and helped out with a move I was doing. Unfortunately the fan didn't work on the 2nd day so no AC in 34° heat. Banged my head on the fence getting to the office.

We arrived at the location and unfortunately, the size of truck that we rented had not yet been returned. The workers there were very kind and upgraded us to a larger truck (which ended up being much needed) at no extra cost. Great customer service!

The truck I was rented was an older model, there was a newer one available. When I read the insurance waiver there was a hand written note indicating there roof could leak and I was assuming responsibility for this if damage occurred. I was not informed of this by the staff. I'd suggest more stringent informed consent in renting a truck. All the documents seem to favour the franchise and do little to protect the renter from adverse events.

I was disappointed with the overall uHaul experience (the ratings above reflect only the James Snow location experience, which was good): 1 - I requested a 26' truck in my reservation about 1 month before my move date. Two days before my move date, I was called to tell me that uHaul could only provide a 17' truck. This would require multiple trips for the move. 2 - I ordered movers through MovingHelp. Immediately after I told them that I was downgraded from a 26' truck to a 17' truck, they told me that they were injured and would no longer be able to help (again 2 days notice before my move date, which was not flexible). 3 - When I showed up to pick up the truck on my move date, the location had TWO 26' trucks available. I understand that it is hard to control some things, but the timing of things left a bad experience. Perhaps it was a conincidence that the moving help canceled the moment I told them about the truck downgrade. Further, the confusion around the availability of the requested truck (on a reservation I made well in advance) also increased the stress level around my move.

Worker was very friendly and kind. The truck was dirty though. Cigarette butts and ashs and something gooie in the cup holders. We had to clean it ourselves before we could start our roadtrip.

Better procedures for after-hours drop off. Always provide the vehicle with a full tank of gas to avoid awkward process of refueling to a part tank. Better layout and parking of vehicles in the lot. Fix the front fence gate - I could barely get it open wide enough to get the truck in.

Great day, I do have some questions regarding our rental charge. Due to the amount of time to run to the U-Haul truck in the past two weeks we were gifted 250 km with the truck. And now we're being billed $0.69 per kilometer, we were told that we will be getting a $0.49 per kilometers instead of $0.69. How come we're being billed that much for that many kilometers & why were we not gifted the 250 km as spoken upon rental. What is this Rental Charge and Rental Fee of $29 each, what is this; is this new? I can understand one rental charge but why to? This jacked a $60 tab on my bill. I've used U-Haul for years and I've had very comfortable and unconfrontational rates and charges. This time it seems U-Hauls not held up to what we were told we were going to get for kilometers and now new rental charges. Could you please explain this and rectify the total charge with me, i would be greatly appreciative. may you experience an Outstanding day!, Daniel Bax

This was not the location that I had ask for a month in advance which was 5 minutes away from my home. It caused an hour of lost time considering we had to go to Sudbury. It caused a lot of stress and anxiety to figure out other alternatives since.going to Milton or Orangeville was out of our way. Nothing was available in Mississauga either..
