The app didn't work (not a fault of the branch). Since it was already 9am, the associate at the branch helped me. O my issue I had was the paper contract I received had fuel showing 1/4 but actually it was 1/8. I took a picture as proof, drive about 13 miles, and filled the truck until 1/4. When I returned, I informed the associate at the door about this that confusion. Regardless, I filled the truck .. may be costed me extra $10 (not end of the world) but for someone else this might be something which they might not want to spend.

I have dealt with other rental companies previously. This was my first time renting from uhaul and will from this point be the only company I will choose. The process was beyond straightforward and was not consumed with unnecessary waiting around. Hats off!!

I didn't have any issues with the location but, with U-haul itself. I got a call one day before my pick up date being informed that my reservation was redirected to a different location almost 30 km farther than the original location. I requested a credit for the mileage difference since I was only driving that much because there was a last minute change not requested by me. The persor who contacted me was rude and didn't give me any options.

When I picked up my cargo van, quite a bit of snow and ice was built up on the windshield which I had to clear myself before using it. The van was also very low on gas (less than 1/4 tank) which became nearly empty after only 25km of driving during mh trip. I returned it with half a tank which was more than what was given to me at the start of the trip as it was difficult to estimate how much gas to actually put back.

There wasn't any windshield washer fluid in the truck. This could have been dangerous. Other than that , the rental was fine and ther service was great.

Very fast pickup at 9am. Full tank of gas, truck was inspected ahead of time. The speedy service really came through since I could only reserve my condo elevator for a short time.

I rented a van, booked it online and indicated that I did not want insurance coverage. I arrived at the location and the pick up was smooth and easy. I returned the van and that evening I realized that I was charged $15 for insurance which I originally declined. I called the location and advised that I was incorrectly charged for the insurance and I was assured it will be removed and credited to my credit card that day. It was not. I called the following day and got a different rep and they told me the same thing. Again it was not credited. So I never received the credit for the insurance and I did not think it was worth my effort to pursue it as I was too frustrated. So I will not recommend this location to others.

I was disappointed that the truck did not have a snow brush and no windshield fluid at all for a winter rental. I consider this a safe issue in winter driving.

Staff are helpful and Car was clean but it looks like that the starter has to be fixed. In a few cases I had to try several times to start the car. Other than this, everything else was great. I will come back to this place again

I ordered my truck in advance near my location. Couple days before one associate for u-haul called me to advise me that the model that I choose wasn't available and moreover I need to drive an additional 45 Km to get a truck smaller than the one I wanted. The worker at u-haul were great, the customer service was great as well. Available immediately. I only regret to be charged for this extra distance.

The location was awesome. The U-Haul app was quite difficult to use and kept erasing our driver information, license information, and secondary driver information every time we modified our booking, which was a little frustrating.

I have rented from this location on multiple occasions and the check in process takes an extremely long time. Both pre Covid and post Covid. Filling out all my information on line each time and duplicating at time of pick up. Needs improvement for sure.

The vehicle is in very bad shape. At 40 speed, the entire vehicle was vibrating. Wheel Alignment was completely OFF. It was very hard to drive it.

I had reserved a 26' truck, and made the reservation. The day before I got my rental, you called and said there is nothing available unless I drove to Brampton to pick it up, that's over 40km from my house, or took a 15' truck. Or I change the moving day. I agreed to move the next day, and still only got a 20' truck. I had to make 2 trips instead of one. After asking, You offered me $10 off. (The price difference between 26' and 15' truck) Thank you for that. But really, it didn't help me, as the mileage was double. All I'm saying is you didn't do what you agreed to, and I paid the price of inconvenience. I would have felt better if I was somehow more appreciated as a customer.

first: The staff were very nice. My concern is that the equipment was clean but there was an irritant air freshner that bothered us entire trip. All air freshners are inorganic solvents and are chemicals. I tossed ours in back of truck but it remained very smelly in the truck. please offer unscented trucks. second: I had called twice and the price breakdown was not explained properly over the phone but it was explained well in person. Third: it would have been nice to tell us for self check i need to check my email and put pictures. Everyone is busy on move dates and reading fine print is something I didnt get to do till very late after truck was returned which was too late to take pictures.

I was booking a truck for Concord location on Saturday moving and 30 minutes before I go to pick up the truck and the head office called and said the biggest uhaul truck I reserved a week ago is not available. Because the truck got into an accident. So they send me to Richmond Hill which I wasted too much precious time on the day of moving. But sadly speaking all they have was little truck that really disappointed. And I must rushing to make it back before 4pm. The truck was small and I forced to do two trip rather then one. I will not return to Uhaul anymore . They have 10 trucks in the parking lot and customer rep has no interest of showing me which truck that I should take. I ended up took the wrong truck and I to drive back to take another truck. Hour of wasting just to go get the truck and spent more money paying for helpers.

We found empty cup of pop cup and paper tray under the seat and had to throw it out so we don't get charged for garbage we didn't leave behind. Other than the that it was a good experience.

The after hour returning system is from hell, it's very stupid, and miserable. Who ever came up with this return system is evil person and has not an high school diploma. What if the person have no access to the internet or a smart phone? I Have an iPhone but I spend 1 hour in the cold trying to figure it out.

The experience at tge location was very good but the experience with your call center was horrible was horrible! When tried to get help to pick up the vehicle as the location was closed in spite of letting the person know that I did not receive the video that she was referring to after rechecked the person kept insisting that all information was sent and that I should refer to the video. She even refused to walk me through the process for help and I noted hints of sarcasm on the call. Please do listen to the call for this booking at around 8 am on this booking (if recorded).

Great experience as always with your facility. Everything was great and online checking was a great help. Your website was down the night before (Nov 19th) for quite some time but I was finally able to check in online the next morning.

I was disappointed at first when my pick up location has been changed before pick up date from Mississauga to Richmond Hill, so long drive to pickup and go back to Mississauga.....Other than that I'm so happy with my choice, perfect track, perfect pickup and drop off locations, very helpful and understanding staff! We were pushed into a 2 day rental because of the limited hours this location was open. We rent trailers twice a year from Uhaul and all other locations are open from 7am until usually 4:30. This location is only open from 9:00am until 3:00 pm in which in my eyes is very poor for a rental company. 9:00am is to late to start if you were using the trailers for a full day and we ended up having to rent the trailer a day before and store it over night so we could have a decent start time. Poor operating hours cost us a full days rental in which is unacceptable and we will probably not use this location in the future.

My original location was in Aurora. I received phone call from U-haul and they told me I can pick up my rental at Richmondhill location and they told me they will send me confirmation. No confirmation was sent to me.

The person serving me was very pleasant and thorough in explaining what I had to do. I rented the truck for 24hours starting Friday but, only really needed it Saturday morning. They allowed me to keep the truck parked at their facility and I picked it up early Saturday morning. Doesn't seem like much but, I really appreciated the flexibility.
